This is the only place I stay when I travel to San Francisco to see the 49ers. They rooms and atmosphere are great, you also get a cute rubber ducky with every stay. They have cookies, fruit and water in the lobby everyday. It's close to public transportation BART, MUNI and Cable cars.
Cozy, clean, not really cheap but we are still in San Francisco. Exceptional location, 2 minutes from everything.
My wife and I went there 2005 for our wedding anniversary it's close to lots of shops
And you go on a trolley about a block away
Hotel staff very nice and helpful
We had lots of fun.
the hotel is clean and well cared, but the decoration and amenities are a bit old. Breakfast is not too good
Location excellent, staff very helpful, room clean and tidy. Overall a great place to stay in San Francisco loved it.
The service at this place was exceptional. All of the people had a smile on their face while helping me out. The rooms were a little dated but perfectly comfortable. It's location is right next to Chinatown so it has some fun places to eat. Overall a fun place to stay for a night.
Beautiful hotel, coffee and tea on tap in the lobby ,and cookies available, very friendly
Hotel is very conviniently located next to inion square. Room is very clean which is great compared to other hotels weve heard about.
The location is good. However, the parking lot was expensive.
Great location, one block away from Union Square. Traditional building but rooms are current and well maintained, albeit somewhat cozy. Great service with a nice bar in the lobby. Reasonably priced room service.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Chancellor Hotel on Union Square last week. The location is excellent... in the heart of San Francisco on Union Square. It was comfortable and well maintained, but it was the "People" at the hotel that made it stand out among really good hotels. Everyone was great, from the bell-hop, to the front desk, to the restaurant, to the concierge to the housekeepers. All were as professional as any of the top name hotels that I have stayed at around the world, and they seemed truely honest and sincere in wanting to help guests. All this for less than half the price of many top name hotels. The next time I stay in San Francisco, it will be at the Chancellor Hotel.
The hotel has a privileged location, since you get the attention of the staff is very good (some speak Spanish), it is advisable to ask for a room overlooking Union Square. The rooms are a good size and with the necessary amenities for your stay, by the way very clean and with affordable prices without being cheap.
I love my stay at this Hotel they give us a free coupon for drinks like buy one get one free and the bar is small but the drinks are good I love the fact the Hotel is smoking-free so the hotel smell clean fresh and make me thinks about Paris Hotels the employees are super nice and professionals this was my 4th time coming to San Francisco but my first time staying here and I love it
