I cannot recommend this company. Work was poorly planned, causing delays in completion. The plumber failed to show up and reconnect our hot water tank as scheduled, so we were without hot water for over 24 hours. Certain jobs the company was supposed to do like reconnecting our washer, dryer, and stationary tub were not done at all, so my husband did them. The company attempted to charge us for a second pump that was not installed. When my husband pointed this out, the company wanted to reduce our bill by only $200, not the $600 written into the contract for the second pump. We received no compensation which had been promised for the inconvenience and for the work that my husband had to complete for them. All in all, the experience was a nightmare.
This service has changed our basement from a damp, dark storage locker to extra livable space in our home. I wish I would have done it sooner. Our experience with Champion was exceptional! The price quoted was the price paid and the work was just as described.
This is by far the worst company I have ever worked with. I wouldn t recommend them to my worst enemy. Delayed work, sloppy work and unprofessionalism from the owner to the foreman. Stay clear of this place. Billed us before even completing the job. And, tried to sue us because I wouldn t pay for unfinished work. A three day job took three months to fully complete.
Do yourself a favor and go with anyone else. They aren t worth the money, time or energy.
This company is giving me and my husband the complete run around. Especially about fixing my drains that go out to the street. I have waited over two weeks for a return phone call. I will have no other choice but to file a complaint with the better business bureau.Including the mayor and borough council.I also refuse to remove this review until all work is completed to me and my husband's satisfaction! 4 weeks later Jon the office manager is still giving me the run around. 10/23/19 Jon office manager said he have the owner call us which never happened. He also told me that he refused to send a work crew out to address the issue. So because of his ignorance and poor work ethic. I have no other choice but to go the legal route. Now filing a complaint with the better business bureau and consumer protection agency. I ve also notified the health department about my gutters being out of code. The mayor and borough been notified as well. Wanna be rude to me that s fine. I ll make all the necessary phone calls now. Buyer beware this company has unprofessional office staff personal! Office manger John is extremely rude! Update 10/30/19 I had to contact the BBB and consumer protection agency due to them blowing off my request to fix their mistakes. 10/31/19 They are now showing up to my home unannounced without a phone call first. Showing up on my doorstep without my permission or prior notifications. I have decided to contact my attorney in regards to this. 11/11/19 after several days going by and turning them into the bbb and consumer protection I finally received a phone call from Elvira. With Elvira notifying me that the owner wants to speak with me on 11/19/19 at 8am at our property. I will update my review after speaking with him on what they decided to do. But they definitely lost my business for my structural beams due to the office managers lack of professionalism. I will be taking my business elsewhere for that part of my home project. 11/19/19 The owner came to my house to discuss how to correct the issue. They are offering to correct it. I will update my review after it s fully complete and correct and within code. 11/21/19 they did send a work crew today to try to correct the problem. But I am leaving this up as they are still allowing their ignorant sales manager to still work there. The owner however was pleasant and understanding and admitted his sales manager is known to be ignorant. My question is then why allow someone like that to represent your company? Let Elvira or Dee answer the phone at least they re more respectful. 3/3/20 called about a possibility of them cracking my sewage line when installing my French drains and was hung up on twice by John the office manager whom I had issues with in the past. I asked whom I was speaking to and it was him he was on a conference call with me and my husband and said he shouldn't speak to me with respect because of the bad reviews I left on here. Remember it's the customer's who keep you all in a job and help supply your boss with your paychecks. Learn how to speak to people and have the courtesy of giving us a return phone call in the time frame you tell us. If you do that you don't get a bad review. If you say your gonna return my call within 2 to 3 business days I expect a call back. I shouldn't have to chase a company for answers. Let alone get an attitude when I call and ask why my call wasn't returned. Or have someone come to my house unannounced and not call first. You flip on me for losing customers because of my review learn how to call back and I wouldn't have an issue. It's not rocket science. It's that simple professionalism speaks volumes. 3/11/20 never got a return call from the owner had to call them. I did get John again today and he was more respectful on the phone finally.
Straightforward, up front and easy to deal with. The estimator was super honest about his quote and pricing and the crew made sure to keep me informed and updated on the process. Seems harder to find folks that are as honest as Champion. Definitely recommend them for interior French drains.
We had a basement wall anchored 10 years ago, and it is holding wonderfully. There has been absolutely no movement since Champion fixed the bowed wall.
Recently we had concern about possible foundation issues based on stepping cracks on the outside of the house's addition. When Champion came to give an estimate for a fix we were told there was not enough significant movement to warrant piering at this time. Instead of taking on the expensive job they were honest with their opinion of our concern. Champion is a company with integrity.

It was done right and I have never had water again. I finished the basement and it looks
great. Yesterday one of the sump pumps was tripping a circuit breaker so I called them.
A staff member verified my account and the next day a repair man can out and replaced
the pump, 20 years after the sale!! I would recommend this business.
I contacted this company by phone and spoke with the office manager John. He was not professional. When answering the phone being polite professional and forthcoming with information is extremely important to a new customer especially me. This gave me a horrible impression of the company. I'm looking elsewhere.
We had a sub pump quit working on us. We called Champion Waterproofing they came right away! They pumped out the water out of my game room. dug and PROPERLY installed a new sub pump system which is transferable if we sold the house
It was easy to set up an appointment. The salesperson came on time, explained everything in detail. We were not put on the spot to sign any contract. The price was very reasonable. The work crew were considerate. They had everything covered in plastic, kept us updated throughout the project and showing us their work, and cleaned up everything afterwards. Will definitely recommend them.
Joe was exceptionally helpful during his inspection. Not only did he do a thorough job he also helped come up with a cost effective solution on something he could have found ways to up-sale or over charge he also had helpful insights and tips for ways to make things also look better once water damage/ problems are gone. Friends and family stand beside Champion weatherproofing as well. I also had my real estate agent refer them to me. I live in the Pittsburgh area and did not know they come out this way so after everyone mentioned the same business that is who we decided to bring in for an inspection. Out of all of the inspections we received there report was the most accurate and cost effective solution offered. I would recommend this company to everyone. Joe is who we met with and he was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I mean he explained every little detail of what was going on with the house and also informed us of the lifetime warranty!! The technicians John and Bryan made 100% sure that I got the job done that I wanted and even with a change in what I wanted on my end they came back to fix a mistake which was all on my end.
