Catfish is amazing! Seriously though, the coleslaw stole the show. My waitress, Erica my waitress was fantastic too! Delicious, delicious, did I mention it was delicious! We'll be coming back again and again.

The food alone is great, and a great atmosphere to sit and eat with friends. When we have friends and family come to town, we always take them to eat here. The menu has something for everyone to eat. not all seafood. they have chicken and burgers that are great also.

This is a great place to eat! I am from Mississippi where good fried shrimp, fried fish, and good sides is plenteous, so for me to find a good place we enjoy is hard considering the bar was set high. The Catfish Place exceeds all expectations and as far as I m concerned there isn t another place in the area that beats their quality of food or exceptional service!

Theee place for fresh Lake Okeechobee catfish. Everything on the menu is grandma style home cooked. Very clean family restaurant. Highly recommend.

This place is a gem, we went on a air boat ride and Capitan Dale suggested the catfish place and is was great. Denise was a great host. Food was awesome and so was the service.

I guess I've been eating at the Catfish Place for nearly 40 years. I've never had a bad meal there. I almost always get the catfish without bones. They've got the best sweet coleslaw ever. The restaurant has a strong local following, combine that with seasonal visitors and it can sometimes be difficult to get in. If you stay away from prime time it shouldn't be an issue. Lunch specials for under $10 and all you can eat for those with a big appetite. Although catfish is the obvious choice, they do have a pretty good selection of other things for folks who don't like fish. The staff treats everyone like they know you. I highly recommend this place.

Yum! Our waitress was awesome. My daughter and I went and we can't wait to go back. Very laid back atmosphere, clean and nautical. The food was delicious with lots of choices.

Don't bother looking at the menu. Just get the all-you-can-eat fresh catfish. You can thank me (and your hardworking server) later.

My husband and I visited this restaurant today for lunch I like that they have a great selection of choice of meals to choose from and it's cooked when order so there is a bit of a wait time to get your plate which was ok with us. Our server gave great customer care and last we ordered from the lunch menu a combo plate of catfish and shrimp that come with two sides. the food was good
also, The price for lunch not bad. The overall experience we had was great we will visit again.

The catfish was cooked to perfection and was very flavorful. The peach cobbler was awesome. The cobbler had the right amount of peach to crust ratio. I really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and informative.

When I was there about two years ago, I had my first alligator :) I loved it. But great variety of food. Fries are good.

I've been to The Catfish Place a few times and every time I've experienced wonderful service. The food taste pretty good and the hush puppies are so yummy. I would like it if they had more vegetable choices. There is usually a vegetable of the day and salad. I would like it if they had other veggies like broccoli or carrots regularly.

The fish here is very good. The place is very clean. The restrooms are a bit small but i could deal with it. Everything seemed pretty much good.

We travel around central Florida in our Jeeps and find local places to eat. This is a go to place if you are looking for some good old local delicacies. We Recomend it to guests on a regular basis. Catfish, turtle, frog legs, gator.... all from local lakes. The House special is a great way to celebrate and it is plenty big. Friendly service, good portions, fair price, and delicious food. If you are looking for a place to have the taste of real Florida, then stop in and enjoy a tasty meal with some friends.

Such a good place to eat! First time trying turtle and alligator and they made it worth it! The paintings integrating the taxidermy animals was very interesting!

OMG, been going here for years.family owned and operated. Great experience .best coleslaw in the south. None of that Carolina style slaw. Great creamy slaw. Get the fried snapper,and some gator tail.

Stopped by after air boating nearby. Should have known the food would be good because it was hard to find a place to park. The cod was excellent as was the service.

Genuine Cracker food at it's best! Great food, worth the 45 minute drive to get there. The prices are a little on the high side, unless you're a senior or a child, but not prohibitively so. This place has been here forever, a not-so-well-kept secret of the locals. Well worth the trip!

THE CATFISH PLACE IS ONE OF MY HUSBAND AND MY FAVORITE PLACES TO EAT IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS AND THE WAITRESSES ARE NORMALLY POLITE AND SWEET. THIS PLACE IS WORTH GOING TO AND SITTING DOWN AND ENJOYING A NICE LUNCH OR DINNER. VERY NICE PLACE TO GO ON A DATE.

First time here and the food was great! First time trying alligator and it was good. Not what I expected at all! Lol I recommend this if you are craving down home cooking and friendly atmosphere!!!

I had lunch with my family here a couple of weeks ago. The service was great! Servers and hostesses were very friendly. The food was delicious too! And pretty good prices. We'll definitely be back.

They are very good, the service is wonderful... They are my go to place for good seafood and blackberry cobbler, the portions are very filling.

This place is in St Cloud it's a very good place to go after church on Sundays and a great place to eat for lunch they give you lots catfish fillets.

We regularly enjoy lunch at Catfish with our family that live in St Cloud January through April once a week. The food is delicious and the portions are just right for us. We highly recommend Catfish to folks who ask for a good restaurant. We will miss the good food and family lunches until next year.

Recommended by Wayne at Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures, our Captain for our airboat ride. Their motto is "Where the locals come to eat" and I understand why. Gator bites appetizer, four entrees and a desert were under $60, and after two days of eating at Disney I needed some real food. The catfish was great, shrimp were fabulous, the flounder was tasty. All served with homemade coleslaw and hush puppies. THANK YOU Wayne!!

This is a family-owned restaurant and they put a good southern touch on the food they serve. They have a large variety of all different types of foods, including steaks, chicken, catfish, frog legs, turtle, and so on. I would highly recommend you eating at this restaurant, especially if this is your first time visiting this area.

One of my all time favorites growing up. You can get local gator, turtle, frog, scallops and catfish(prob the best on menu). Been there 40 plus years. When reviewing the menu, take a look at the notable visitors to come thru the doors and eat at The Catfish Place.

Very generous portion sizes, you definitely won't leave hungry. I had the fried founder sandwich and the piece of fish was big enough was big enough for 2 sandwiches. All three of us left with doggie bags. Service prompt and friendly. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. The key lime pie was the perfect way to end the meal.

If you're a seafood lover...The Catfish Place in St. Cloud is one of the best places in Florida...I love to get the create your own and usually get gator and turtle...they give you a good portion of whatever you get.
