I have been a patient of Dr Ciaccia for years without any issue but I recently had a back surgery that left me with nerve damage. This nerve damage has left me with bowel incontinence and i was told to contact my GI. I got a call back from Dr Ciaccia's office and told no i need my neurosurgeon. I went back to him and he suggested I get a new GI. I called Dr. Ciaccia again and got a call back from Nurse Lisa (not nurse practitioner Lisa) she proceeded to tell me that my previous message was rude and continues to tell me how there is nothing they can do for me. She then tells me that my nerve damage is most likely permanent and I need to live with it. She said she will get me an appointment with the Dr so he can tell me the same thing. I have been very scared of this and start to cry and ask her to please help me, that i am so frustrated with the run around from my drs and i just want someone to help me. She set the phone down and walked away...Someone else picked up the line and set an appointment for a MONTH from now. I have never been treated like this by any healthcare professional. I hung up the phone and felt so alone with my medical issues. I have never had any issues with Dr Ciaccia but after being treated so uncaring and so harshly I will never go there again. Thanks Lisa, I hope you feel big and bad and really superior after attacking me today.

Recently I had both an upper scope & colonoscopy done by Dr Ciaccia. He did an excellent job! I had no problems afterwards. I've never had these procedures done before so I was really nervous. Him and the nurses made me feel very relaxed & comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Ciaccia if you need the scopes done or if you need a gastroenterologist. He's friendly, knowledgeable and he knows what he's doing! Also his nurse Lisa is very friendly & helpful when I see them for office visits! Keep up the great work guys! You the real MVPs!

I have never experienced anything like I did last week when having a colonoscopy. The first time with Dr Chacha was wonderful. I was totally out and came too without any pain or discomfort and figured I could do this every 5 years! This time...his nurse gave me the medicine to put me to sleep. She kept asking if I was sleepy. I told her no. Again, she asked and again, I said Nope. I can hear everything and am totally awake. Apparently, running behind this did not matter to either of them. The Dr. proceeded with the colonoscopy without any medication or being asleep. I have never been in more pain in my life, screaming the whole time....and I gave birth to 3 babies, 2 were 9lbs without meds. The nurse just kept telling me to breath?!? It was the most horrific experience at a drs office I have ever had....and will NEVER go back for another one in my life!!

Dr. Ciaccia was amazing. He got me in quickly. He listened and was very attentive and nice. Would recommend.

This is my second time getting a colonoscopy done by Dr Ciaccia. I highly recommend him if you need the scopes done or if your looking for a GI doctor. I never had any issues and he always does a great job!
