Last Saturday evening with a group of seven, had dinner in Neercanne. We come to this restaurant more often and we eat more often in (other) restaurants with Michelin stars. Just a nice (but expensive) hobby.
It was great this evening. The welcome was pleasant. It only got better that night. Every dish was delicious, even dishes with ingredients that I would not immediately choose if I were to dine fully a la carte. I would (almost!) Commit a murder for the crispy Angus beef. Delicious matching wines everywhere. Excellent, professional and friendly staff.
Unfortunately I do not work for Michelin, because otherwise I would personally hand over that (taken away) star to this young and energetic team of people.

Very surprising! Aperitif in wine cellar and then a super tasty dinner full of combinations of flavors. Small problem with settlement was handled very correctly. More than worth 5 stars.

One of the best restaurants I have been to. The food is of pristine quality, the staff is ever so helpful and the location... it's beautiful. You really feel like you are away from the everyday world when you gaze down upon the private garden and the meadows across. Very peaceful and very authentic.

Full transparency; I have been coming here for over 10 years now. The "mergel" caves are a very romantic and private place (with a interesting history) to have an appetizer. Great champagne and wine! Don't worry, you won't get lost in the caves.

Dining in the chateau is a premium experience. The outside terrace is an absolute must-do on beautiful summer evenings.

On Sunday 20 October my friend and I got into the car to have a cup of coffee at chateau Neercanne.
We had become curious after all the positive reviews on Google to have a look at this location and menu with our own eyes.
After 80 km. having driven we saw a beautiful castle in an equally beautiful area.
It was raining cats and dogs but that didn't spoil the fun.
We had parked the car downstairs and walked upstairs on foot.
Upon arrival we immediately met an employee who asked if he could help us, very nice.
We made it clear to him that we wanted to drink a cup of coffee.
He then led us to an outbuilding.
Upon arrival this turned out to be reserved for people who had a car encounter that day.
We asked if we could take a seat in the restaurant that was almost empty.
We were only allowed in there for lunch.
It was 3:15 pm and we only wanted a cup of coffee with any cake.
The young man indicated that we could drive on to the nearby village to have a cup of coffee.
We are very disappointed that such a large location cannot receive multiple companies.
And certainly disappointed in the fact that we were able to return home to the organizer.

Excellent! Extensively dined with matching wine arrangement; what a party! Both excellent. What I also really liked was the enthusiasm and knowledge of the sommelier. Between halls, a few hours have been cleared for a short walk through the castle garden and part of the wine cellars. The entourage is really beautiful and that really makes the picture complete for us personally. We had a wonderful, relaxed and romantic evening which we look back on with great pleasure. We will certainly return here annually.

An absolutely lovely place!

An absolutely lovely place!
For lovers of good atmosphere, walk, field and palace all in one. Also the famous restaurant and cellar.

Celebrated wedding here, drove a couple of times to arrange everything. Unfortunately they never communicated with the people who would arrange it on the day itself. Before the wedding I had a super good feeling about it because they would arrange everything. On the day itself it was unfortunately a lot different. Invoice was also much higher than the quotation was. Not really satisfied afterwards. The man who had to arrange it on the day itself was grumpy and did not feel like it. Very unfortunate on such a beautiful special day.

I have been to the Chateau twice for dinner now and have had amazing experiences both times! A friend had recommended this restaurant and it was so wonderful that we returned the next time we were in town. The first time I went with my boyfriend, who is in the F&B industry and was equally impressed. The second time we brought our friends for a double date and everyone had an amazing time. As a tourist visiting the area with food allergies, they were extremely accommodating and wonderful. Both times we had the tasting menu. The food is incredible, the wine pairings were perfect, the ambience is romantic and it s upscale enough to be an awesome night out while relaxed enough not to be pretentious. In good weather, make sure to take advantage of a glass of champagne on the beautiful terrace. Consider this a must on your next trip to Maastricht. You will not be disappointed!

Always top!

Always top!
Outside on 'Tuscan' terrace.
Too bad that the barrier is not 100m further, this chateau was Belgian

Food was phenomenal, I can't fault it and thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The issue was the service and attention to detail. We opted for the 6 course meal with wine pairing. All meals were delicious, well balance and wonderfully described. Wine was perfectly paired. However, for a 6 course meal, we spent 4.5 hours there. For 2 of our dishes, it took more than an hour for us to be served. For a Michelin star restaurant, and the price to dine, I expected far better in terms of service.

Very well eaten, beautiful wines.

Very well eaten, beautiful wines.
Very nice professional service.
Eight courses and that was fantastic.
Everything possosinated and therefore in proportion with three or four courses.
Really enjoyed all the delicious things an evening.
The castle's location is like a fairy tale.

Great romantic location, beautiful terrace garden. TOP kitchen, both in the castle (star restaurant) and in the Auberge. Exquisite collection of wines that are kept in the caves of the castle. You yourself think prince or princess by the super friendly staff that you always receive with a smile and let all your wishes come true. You immediately feel at home in this beautiful environment. Simply TOP service and TOP quality.
