Warning!!! Do not rent from CFG! They will nag and nit pick over the silliest of things! The longer you rent from them the more they will nag you! Kristy and Steve pitted my apt against apt C. And made us meet up like school children to read our lease out loud.
I have been renting from CFG for 3 years this September, and my experience with the company has been great! Just recently I had a slab leak in my living room and they sent the plumber within a couple of hours and another company to dry out the carpet. I work a lot and the prompt response was great because I didn't have to miss too much work.
ABOSULTLY HORRIBLE! We have only been living on one of their properties(Avocado St, Costa Mesa CA) for 2 months and have had the WORST EXPERIENCE!!! TRUST ME ,YOU DO NOT WANT TO LIVE ON A PROPERTY THAT INVOLVES CFG INVESTMENTS. I have lived in about 5 different properties between Florida and California and I wish I would have never signed a lease with these people. From dealing with bums sleeping inside the trash bin, them digging through the trash nightly to having the property management complain about have 2 doormats outside your front door ,to not allowed to have your BICYCLE ON THE PATIO ! Let me remind you our unit has NO patio storage unit. Where do these people expect you to store things? It's something different each time they are on property. Don't make the same mistake we did. Keep looking and you'll find something within your budget and not have to deal with this horrible woman Zlatka the Property Manager.

Wish I could give this zero stars. Just talk with Laura, she was incredibly rude and disrespectful to both me and my wife. I work from 6:30AM till 6:00PM every week day with no "hour off" for lunch. She acted like I was asking for her first born child when I asked if we could do a showing at 6:30PM. Looked like a great place to live, but I'd rather pay an addition $500 a month to never have to interact with her again. Poor hire choice CFG.
I noticed I wasn't the first to leave a review like this; too bad the company doesn't seem to care.
Spoke with Julia about an apartment going for rent and PROMISED to let me have a viewing on a Saturday. She was very unpleasant on the phone and said she didn't want to waste her time on a Saturday and she was just show up in her racket ball clothes during the viewing. I told her I was a very serious renter but would like to view the apartment first. She said since I was the first to call she would hold off and wait for me on Saturday. The next day she text messaged me saying that she rented out the apartment and the unit was no longer available. I called her asking her what was going on and she said that because this person was the first to offer money she gave it to them and didn't care that she promised she would wait for me this coming weekend even though she promised I would. She then stated again, she didn;t want to waste her Saturday giving a viewing. I then tried calling the office to make a complaint but none of the lines given from the website would answer. THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL AND DISRESPECTFUL! Julie, you're a very mean person and good luck to anyone who has to work with her. I feel sorry for your loss.

Today was one of the worse days ever. After a long day at work i was hoping i would come home to find my bathroom light fixed but instead i found my entire kitchen switch off. My refrigerator was off as other appliances. Not knowing what was going on first thing that came to my mind was to check the switcher and to my surprise it was off. After turning them on my refrigerator turn on and other appliances the stove wont turn on. I cant go on and on but the fact that both management and maintenance don't care about doing their job right its something else. All I wanted to was to come home and relax but instead I'm frustrated and very upset at how things are handle. I truly hope someone cares about this matter and reaches out to me asap. I have much more to tell.
I ve been with CFG for 10 years they are amazing company i had the pleasure of working with Steve and Krista if I ve had something that needed to be fixed or repaired they were on it with in 24 hrs no delays Krista is awesome and friendly and outgoing and so is Steve he is a nice guy too they are both easy and friendly to deal with
So far, a FANTASTIC viewing and renting experience with Zlatka. The house is beautiful, and I can imagine, what most of these reviews say (good and bad) are true based on our experience thus far... CFG is very by the books and will not allow alterations or visual changes. We were advised to get any changes approved in writing. So glad we knew this ahead of time!
I ll update this as our experience progresses, especially if anything changes. So far, I think we ve been given a good idea of what to be expect.
My family has had the displeasure of working with Laura and CFG Investments over the past year and half. We finally moved and we're so glad to be done with them. Laura was really hard to work with even in the beginning when we were just trying to view and rent the apartment. She's very rude on the phone and in person. Not kind and warm. Very cold and short in her conversations. And CFG is really old school in their management approach. No online tenant portal to pay rent or make maintenance requests. I recommend using a different property management company if at all possible. Stay away from CFG Investments!
