I love this venue. Easy to get to, free parking, a wide variety of music and other performances. Across the street is the Towne Center Mall, with several places to go for dinner before your event.

Just came here for the first time April 13, 2019 for Matt Mauser and the Frank Sinatra Band - was a great show at a great venue ! The theatre is moderately sized but there is absolutely nothing moderate about the architectural design - that in itself is worth the price of admission ! Absolutely stunning ! Every seat in the house is good seat. We sat in the Gold Circle Level off to one side and the view of the stage and sound were spectacular. They have beautiful decor, wide spiral staircase, glass panels, granite, limestone, a fireplace, and quaint little seating areas to chat or enjoy the food and drinks they offer while you wait before the show to begin. Definitely look forward to coming here again !
The building is beautiful. Free parking and it's an easy theater to get in and out of. Better leg room then Segerstrom. The reason for only 4 stars is because the website showed that they were sold out for the function. The box office was called and there were still tickets available, but apparently only the more expensive ones. When we showed up for the event there was TONS of open seats. This was annoying because we could've gotten cheaper seats and the center could've made a lot more money and sold more seats if their website didn't show they they had no more seats available.
Closing?? The Cerritos Center for Performing Arts is such a great venue and I'm really disappointed to hear that the Center may be canceling shows with the intention of closing. This is a great community resource and I have enjoyed all of the performances that I've seen there. There isn't a bad seat in the house. We need to keep the arts active in our communities!
Cerritos Center is a wonderful concert venue offering diversified performances, especially great for Baby Boomers. I recently enjoyed Frankie Avalon, Olivia Newton-John, Doo-Wop, and Carol Burnett. The staff here is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Every seat has a great view. I recently chose box seating and loved the privacy. Usually a meet & greet with performers after their show...CO'S and other memorabilia available. Parking is convenient but I still arrive 30-40 minutes early for my favorite spot. Nearby restaurants are a big plus and the Sheraton is next door for concert goers desiring a an overnight. Get your tickets early..many concerts sell out quickly.
Please avoid pre-performances that are totally unrelated to the performance we have paid and expected to see. Last night we were subjected to 75 minutes of an inappropriate program.
We go there quite often and love it. We live across the street from there. Frank Sinatra opened it years ago and the performers love the sound system. The place is beautiful. Johnny Mathis was amazing and he had a comedian with him who was hysterically funny. Fun night.
Beautiful facility. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Comfortable seating with plenty of leg room. Very important for this 6'6" writer! Eager to go back!
America on February 2,2018. Great seats and great performance. It seems like yesterday when I saw them perform in Los Angeles. 30 years ago. They still have it. The sound of the music brought back a lot of fond memories. The Cerritos Center for the Performing is a one of my favorite place to see a concert. The area has fine dining and great parking, and excellent security. On Sept. 8, 3018, we went and saw Boz Scaggs. He performed for 2 hours straight through. His music brought magic to the Cerritos Performing Arts. Each selection he sang was a perfect setting of America folk music from Blues to Jazz. Super show!
Love Love This Place Went To See Franky Valle The Show Was Great Seating Was Perfect And The Staff Was Welcoming, Warm , Kind, Very Helpful, Professional.
Nice small venue. Saw Jay Leno live. If you ever have a chance to see him do it. Never laughed so much for 90 minutes straight. Going to see Frankie Valle there next week.
Beautiful venue. Just the right size. Not too big and overwhelming like some theaters. I primarily go to see the 3D theatricals perform. They have some of the best performers that have talent above and beyond what I have seen in a smaller venue. Staff and volunteers are very nice and helpful. Plenty of parking.
This is a great theater/performing arts center. It's a good size, but not too big, so you're able to enjoy performances no matter where you sit. They even have a little bit of food/snacks available for purchase. This place is kept very clean. Because they use a lot of volunteers as ushers, they have great seating services. There's plenty of parking around the theater. You can also go to eat at multiple restaurants nearby. It is near the 91 freeway, so it's easily accessible.
Absolutely stunning venue, the stage and sound crew are fantastic. All other staff members we met were super friendly and accomodating. Can't wait to come back.
It's close and parking is free and relatively easy in and out. Atmosphere is friendly and generally older age level. Building is beautiful and again you can't beat the location! They have a variety of performances including broadway musicals. I most recently attended the Emmylou Harris performance.
Great show. Cerritos Center for the Performing arts you need to have Brody. Dolyniuk back. I have been to your Venue 6 times in the last 4 yours four the see Brody. You need to have him back.
Just saw Shrek, the Musical. It's a really fun show -. particularly good for the kids. The sets were amazing and the actors really played to the audience. The venue is not elegant, but relaxed and nice. The seats were a little short, though. Would have liked them to be more comfortable.
What a fantastic venue! I've seen many different performances here and have always been pleased. The staff are always friendly and helpful, seats are comfortable, and there's really not a bad seat in the house.
This was our first visit to this performing arts center. We saw "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" and it was very well done. Our usher described the place to us more and we found out that it was one of 2 facilities in the world that could change its configuration to best suit the production or performance. I cant remember the right number but it was like 60 something or more configurations the place could do. Amazing!
I love this beautiful performance space. Saw Hall Linden and Barbara Eden in Love Letters. It was a lovely show. Wish I hadn't had to go to work. I would have loved to do the meet and greet afterwards. The staff here is always so nice, too.
The Secret Garden production is not to be missed, gripping, moving, emotionally charged, exquisitely performed, visual and acoustic master piece in as fine a facade as can be found.
Great concerts, I appreciate and support the arts, but wow, didn't know usury is a common practice when it comes to concert fees. Be prepared for extra charges: additional fees such as a processing fee around $32 or more per ticket, an $8 or more delivery fee [emailed ticket(s)] per ticket. I purchased 3 tickets at $108 each. By the time I checked out, my purchase was close to $450.00. Why not make it $500? If that is the cost, I hope they pay their employees very well! That's how I feel about it today!
A very nice venue for concerts, meetings & stage shows. Great location with hotels, restaurants, shopping within walking distance. We go there regularly and always enjoy the experience!
Great venue. Very orderly. Staff were very courteous. Well managed venue. Easy parking which is free. We had great seats to watch an excellent musical "Once" which was outstanding. The performers were wonderful. Highly recommend a vist for any show. We must support the Arts...
Gorgeous venue. Can be configured six different ways depending on the event! Solid sound system and great audiences. Attend your favorite event in their season and you won't be disappointed!
