This agency is one of the most uncooperative, worthless places I've ever done business with in my life. The agent was a nightmare from the very beginning. Unreasonable, and horrible customer service. Rarely do you run across people this out of tune with their customers and customer service, or just how to treat other human beings in general. Hopefully no one ever has to deal with them

Lady was so poor at communicating. Got an eviction notice even though rent was paid.
Agent who is female, was speaking to my SO in a manner that was absolutely rude and disgraceful and she HUNG UP ON HIM.
I couldn t believe how she was talking to him, and I work in a bar where people speak kinder than she had! Do not recommending.
Very poor customer service. Does not respond to calls or emails with any level of efficiency. They talk negatively about other clients to their customers. Not a professional agency.
RENTER BEWARE... this company is nothing but slum lords. They expect high dollar rents but give nothing in return. I have been without ac for two weeks and I have had a repairman come by multiple times but tell me they can't do anything because century 21 won't authorize it. I also have cockroaches in my house but they dont care. I'll also be reporting their activity to the BBB.
My initial interaction with this company was extremely poor, until Matt Graham got involved. His service and delivery was epic.
If you need their services definetely make him your go to guy for top tier service.

Poor customer service. I've called 6 times over 2 weeks to view a rental and still no response. I feel certain that returning a call is a resonable expectation on my part. Perhaps Wayne can call me.
My son was 19 and bought his first home through John Walton. the realtor told him he did not need an inspection. He told him it was new construction, had never been lived in and had a builders warranty. It had actually been lived in for over a year and had no warranty.. There were all kinds of issues with the house and my son had to pay for all of the repairs because he waived the inspection because he was told he was purchasing a brand new home. . He just believed what the realtor told him. A realtor should never encourage a first time home buyer not to get an inspection. Terrible service. The realtor should have known that there was no warranty on the home. They should have helped my son because they gave incorrect information. They refused to help him in any way.

Good communication, helpful service. I didn't end up renting from them, but they were still polite and helpful. I'd definitely use them in the future.
renting a property here in lubbock texas. Staff is not helpful, I payed my deposit and rent, they are giving me a house that is not clean and not mowed. Garage door not working properly,a missing remote, waste depositor not working, master light not working(fan too) master closet is broken.They want me to move in in this condition. I saw the house the first time and somebody else was there renting so I was hoping in good faith that they will fix it when we rent it after. I was even messaged if I wanted to move in eariler. Good thing I did not, house is being fixed as of the moment. They want me and my family to move into a house that has to be fixed and cleaned. I will not recommend this place for people to rent from. Very bad service. I hope the executives see this post and get in touch with me so I can tell them the whole story. Im never insisted that they paint the house. It has a million holes so atleast they patch it up. They should have people do their job and check the house before giving them to clients.

I bought my home through Michael Hutton two years ago this coming October. Michael was courteous, helpful, and considered all my needs and even helped us come to a better deal with our purchase. Being a Christian myself and meeting a Christian in the profession I would highly recommend him again. Now I am a agent for Century 21 because I know the professionalism and care of the clients are their first priority. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I can't believe I didn't respond with a review already.

My daughter rented a house from this company in March of this year. It took 2 weeks for them to bring the stove that was in the lease even with the agent Troy knowing she has three children. This house was not properly cleaned upon move in. The most important issue however is the central air. It is not connected and doesn't work even though we have already had days near and over 100 heat they have not done anything to rectify the situation.Troy the agent does not return messages and has not so much as even offered a discount. She doesn't even want one and never asked. She just wants the house to be in the working condition per the lease. I always thought Century 21 was a good and respected company. That is not the case in Lubbock.
This is the worst company all they care about is there money. They don't care about there clients. Stay away from them.
Too bad there isn't a rating of no stars. The experience was dreadful. Even if you leave a property in better condition, your deposit isnt coming back. The rental division takes advantage of the Tech students instead of taking the opportunity to help them become responsible citizens. Which is truly unfortunate since if not for them Lubbock wouldn't be the Lubbock it is. I hope those students (and property owners) read this review and steer clear of homes for lease by John Walton Realtors.
