Impossible to cancel! After Roseanne acted like a friend, she promised to cancel my account and did not. I had to chargeback through my credit card and a couple months later they charged me again.

World class amenities, free weights and machines. Top of all gyms, pool and classes. There s a rehab center dedicated for people with special needs, especially after accidents or medical procedures. Doesn t smell like a gym, clean and friendly staff that go above and beyond. The price brings in different clientele vs Work Out World or Retro or Planet fitness. Worth every penny.
May be a bit pricey,but,crazy clean,great trainers instructors,pools,saunas,hot tub,steam room,place is always being cleaned,showers are spotless,instructors are unbelievably good,ask for Kristine R,,Trainer Malcolm,off the charts,,clean clean clean
I have a one month pass bc I'm visiting family, and this is by far the best gym I've ever had the pleasure of using! Staff is so friendly and super helpful. Bathrooms are beyond clean! Worth every penny.
Wish they had more spin classes, spin classes could be more exciting.....and more step machines... But all in all its a gym. Lots of people on floor walking around to see if you need help.
Had horrible experience today. My husband is a member of this gym. He brought me and our son 12 years old for family swimming. I was first time there , got guest pass. I am a member of NYSC. I was thinking to see how is going at this gym , may be it's gonna be more convenient to go there . Me and my son were already in the pool about 10 min, when they (staff) figure out that he come like 40 min yearly than it should be. Family time from 3-5 , but we came yearlier , pool wasn't busy at all. Was 2:20 pm . We just decided to swim. But the manager basically kicked us out. He told to lifeguard that we have to leave the pool and we can come back in 40 min. But we already swimming, it's not gonna make any difference for manager and for gym , BUT it's gonna make big difference for us , we have to take a shower , dry up .... And then come back . But manager was so demanded saying it's RULES in the gym. Something you better to think about patient/ customer satisfaction then about your RULES. So unprofessional kick out you customers from pool. Hospital/wellness center need to show the community that they are interested in quality care, and they need to find ways to improve in order to remain competitive. Patients/customers, and as customers, we have the right to choose where to go for our medical care /gym. Patients/customers are easier to serve if they feel their needs are being met. This results in happier staff and patients/customers. Unfortunately we didn't have not even good experience at this gym. So shame for this place for kicking out a kid from the pool!!!
So far so good. Many assorted group classes that were fun and welcoming. Instructor Megan is awesome. Love the guidance received from the nurse and trainer. Such a pleasure to take a swim in the warm SW pools and use hot tub especially when it is freezing outside!
New in town, looking for a new gym. Centrastate didn't make me feel welcome. Very high pressure, didn't even make it in the door, told I had to spend 30 minutes on a tour. I'm sure the facility isn't that big. When I said I didn't have 30 minutes they wanted to make an appointment...to look at a gym? Only thing it says is it must be expensive, and probably not worth it. Will continue my search.
Awesome gym. Staff friendly, courteous, caring approachable and supportive. Facility super clean. Extensive variety of classes and equipment for all fitness levels. Staff dedicated to assist you in meeting fitness goals.
I had an excellent Physical Therapy experience, first in the Hydroworx pool and then on Land, Rehab. The Therapists and Assistants are incredible. In a short time, I was taught how to strengthen core muscles to alleviate lower back pain and to manage on a daily basis. Thank you, to all at CentraState Fitness & Wellness Center, for fantastic results. Have a great New Year!
I will be canceling my membership and seeking a Gym that value and respect all of their members regardless of race. I have had a few experiences when the doors to the gym were locked and staff members will see me locked out and not let me in or provide any other assistance.
A staff member told me that the entrance doors to the gym lock at a certain time for security measures; although, the gym is open and they (staff) cannot let me in. Interesting, that such security measures are taken without regards to the paying members.
The practice is definitely strictly enforced with me. I have witness white members walk up to the locked doors while I was locked out and waiting and they were granted accesses without being subjected to the same wait or poor treatment.
Tonight, the front desk associate used profanity while address me. She create unnecessary drama, showed complete disrespect and never showed any empathy for a member who had been standing in the cold weather at night simply trying to get into the gym where I am a paying member to workout. Unfortunately, tonight s ordeal was not an isolate incident and clearly the culture of this location.
A member should never be told I can t let you in by people employed in an organization. It should be common sense that personnel would immediately notify whomever is permitted to grant accesses that a member or person is locked out especially during business hour. Perhaps,, this treatment is intentional to target certain member and certainly had been my experience on multiple occasions as I had to stand in the dark and cold weather to call a front desk person only to be told I can t let you in.
