Control of Alzheimer's Disease is currently hamper...

Control of Alzheimer's Disease is currently hampered by the delay of a late stage clinical trial backed by the NIH, of long-acting insulin taken by nasal spray. The inventor of the spray mechanism, Marc Giroux, continues to solicit investments apparently from those who have the disease, and holds up the last stage of clinical trails led by Dr Suzanne Kraft at Wake Forest. Alzheimer's is a disease involving insulin resistance in the brain, and a spray of long acting insulin, directed up nasally does not cross the blood-brain barrier. It halts the processes that cause the cascade of neuron death.

I think it is time that people with Lyme disease got a fair shake from the CDC. It is a legitimate affliction....and has come with many diagnosis's, before they actually identify the person's illness and then the treatment could take as long as six months to get it under control and they still have flares. Please this is America and we should be on top of this...Medicine in this country appears sometimes to be living in the dark ages we can't cure everything with mud. Get on board and recognize this disease so people can get the help they need.....medically and financially.....Thank You Still I think you are doing a great job in all other areas......

Good morning, just wanted to tell you that your ads on quitting smoking are great....think the more positive ones would be more effective, everyone always likes a good ending to a story. In the end, it is a matter of intellectual commitment...wish everyone success in ending this very destructive habit....makes my heart hurt to see people standing outside a building, regardless of the weather, so they can have their cigarette...Keep up the good work...nora clark

Well I especially have not been there like. In the fact that the flu virus outbreak that's one across the United States even though that has killed some people or I am Washington State it's still a great company because they're trying to help us get flu shots . Well it's still good company because the CDC we need them if there's ever a outbreak we need them to help us and if there's a way I could get into 8 million star actually 4 kazillion star because they are an excellent company that spot and then if we don't have them I would think that we would all be like like that. So clap your hands the CDC sorry I meant to the CDC .
Thank you ,

I am very disappointed to read about your new guidelines regarding chronic pain. You are affecting real people- people you have never met and don't understand. Don't come between me and my doctor!

Look up "William W. Thompson" who works in the CDC and blew the whistle on vaccines and their links with autism especially MMR vaccine.

CDC only cares about money, it is really sad that this kind of dirty corruption still exist in this day and age. You should be ashamed CDC.

If I could give you a zero stars I would. I called to ask whether my pregnant co-worker should travel to Orlando (Orange County) this Saturday. According to the reports there are 40 reported cases of Zika Virus in Orange County. All I wanted was a human answer to a question of whether a pregnant woman should really make that visit. You know what I received ?A canned, scripted answer that appeared to attempt to preserve Florida's tourism trade. This same motivation was demonstrated this morning on the national news shows by Florida's Governor. My question to the CDC representative was "would he send his wife or daughter on this trip" and he said he could not give me that answer (recorded line). I have no faith in the CDC.

This is an amazing place to work that is full of dedicated and passionate public servants.

For the public, there is an awesome museum (David J. Sencer Museum) that is open during regular business hours. The main floor is a rotating exhibit, and the lower floor is stays the same.

To get to the museum, pull up to the guard building on the far right. Tell them you are going to the museum and show your ID. They might ask you to step out and pop your hood and trunk. Make sure you don't try to bring any weapons. The guard will direct you straight ahead to the visitor's parking deck. Then check in with the guard desk just inside the visitor's center.

They wouldn't let me in. Maybe because I'm Canadian? I had to show them my issues over the CCTV Cameras at the gate. They just told me over time the oozing would stop and the open sores would go away. I guess they must be busy.

Not so much as a review, as a complaint. I cannot understand how you think that you (CDC) know more about my care than my Doctor. I served my country for more than 20 years as an combat infantryman. I have chronic pain. I take spinal injections, neck injections, and surgeries on my spine which left me in worse shape than before and has not really addressed the issue, which is my body is wore out. Pain management is by only help, which includes opioids. Which i have been taken successfully for 15 years. Not to mention I live in an area which i have to drive nearly a hundred miles just to see my doctor. This is a hardship, I can't imagine having to make this trip once a week. When you make recommendations and off the cuff decisions, remember they affect real people.

CDC Museum is a hidden gem. Museum is only open M-F daytime, and you need to go through security to get there. Free parking and free entrance, but you need to show ID to get in. Worth the effort, though.

About Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is a national health protection agency that has been serving the United States since 1946. The organization's primary goal is to save lives and protect people from health, safety, and security threats. CDC works tirelessly to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, promote healthy behaviors, and respond to public health emergencies.

CDC's mission is to ensure that America remains safe from both domestic and international health threats. The organization achieves this by conducting research on various diseases, developing effective prevention strategies, providing guidance on how to stay healthy, and responding quickly when outbreaks occur.

One of CDC's most significant achievements was its role in eradicating smallpox worldwide. In 1977, the World Health Organization declared smallpox eradicated thanks in large part to CDC's efforts. Today, CDC continues its work in disease control by focusing on emerging infectious diseases such as COVID-19.

CDC also plays a crucial role in promoting healthy behaviors among Americans. The organization provides guidance on topics such as nutrition, physical activity, smoking cessation, and mental health. By promoting these behaviors through education campaigns and community outreach programs nationwide.

In addition to its work in disease control and prevention of unhealthy behavior patterns among Americans; CDC also responds quickly when public health emergencies arise. For example; during the Ebola outbreak in West Africa between 2014-2016; CDC sent hundreds of staff members overseas to help contain the virus' spread.

Furthermore; during natural disasters like hurricanes or floods; CDC provides support for emergency responders who are working tirelessly around-the-clock trying their bests at saving lives while keeping themselves safe too!

Overall; Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) is an essential agency that plays a critical role in protecting American citizens' well-being by preventing disease outbreaks & promoting healthy lifestyles while responding promptly when emergencies arise!
