The coat check was a life saver .and the lady that works there was great. The staff of the center seem very nice and helpful. The Starbucks crew on both levels arent very good with customer service and extremely slow service.

Great place to visit. I went there for the New York International Car Show and i wasn't disappointed. I went there to look at the new cars and trucks and i wasn't disappointed. It helped me decide what i wanted to buy for my next car. My wife and i ate lunch there, which was a little costly, but it was filling. And after all it is in the City and most things in that area cost more. I plan to go back again next year to the next car show. It was definitely worth the trup and money.
Another year at Comic Con. Comic Con Staff is great but cell service is sketchy at best. There could be more options in the cafeteria and there often is not enough seating to eat. The bathrooms could be cleaner also.n
I have only had good experiences at this enormous glass convention center. Amazing industry fairs happen here all the time, so I learn something new every time I visit. The 7 line (subway) is going to extend to this area so it will be easier to travel to.
If you're coming to Javits Convention Center as an Exhibitor - be prepared. They don't make anything easy. Loading in and out is truly a pain. Tiny elevator and you're only allowed to wheel things in on two wheels. Good luck.
Massive convention center. Not easy to load unload though..... Not enough parking for trucks. We had to constantly drive around city blocks so we wouldn't get ticketed
Had an awesome time at comic Con here. The space is big. Only thing I didn't like was getting in. I feel that they should have better proud control on the streets a little better organized
Absolutely beautiful when you step inside with all the natural light that seeps inside. Great location for whatever you come here for, with the 34th Street - Hudson Yards (7) train station about a block away from there. Tons of restrooms for the crowds at events that take place there.
There are so many different cars to see & all the auto companies have their best models on display. Pretty much any car you would love to see is there for you to see up close & sit inside & experience it for yourself.
Was here for comic con. The center itself was huge. The staff did a wonderful job keeping everything clean and organized. Very well done hosting such a large event.
It was organized at dragcon. All the staff I interacted with were very polite and helpful. I wish I remembered her name but she was at the entrance directly across from the main doors. A middle-aged woman with a gorgeous grey short haircut. What did Joy she was for everyone!
I came here for the 2019 NY Auto Show and the place is nicely organized. Clean environment, bathrooms are clean too. I had the opportunity to talk to some permanent staff members and they are very friendly. They seem to like and care about their jobs!
It is a very large convention center, with many rooms and it is likely to get lost a bit. The logistics depend on each event but it is usually excellent. In my case, I went to a dental congress and there were bilingual and Latin American staff, they can answer your questions and guide you if you are a little lost. The installation is generally in super good condition. The parking lot is very big too. It has a cafeteria, wifi and relaxation area. A few steps you will find the Hudson River.
This cavernous convention center is the main and largest venue of its type in the metropolitan New York market. Accessed now by the 7 IRT subway to Times Square and Grand Central Terminal it is a distant walk from the city centre. The I.M. Pei crystal court is nice but impersonal and has no sense of purpose, and lacks any New York flash. There are few if any restaurants nearby, and those that exist are in the nearby Hudson Yards, another New York outlier which is overpriced and lacks any sense of New York scale, flash or diversity, pandering to a similar bland and uninspired design aesthetic. The Convention Center is being expanded now to its north and consideration was being given to using its basement as a new home for the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Both ideas are not in keeping with the City. It does not incorporate itself into the City but creates an artificial boundary between the City and its river, much like Hudson Yards does. These are white collar and wealthy fortresses on encroaching diversity multiculturalism and the whole aesthetic of the City as the World's Capital. We deserve better.
Parking was RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE!!! $70!!! I know they have no control over that but a convention center with no parking... that's 1/2 mile from public transportation.
It's a convention center, i will say the pulled pork sandwich in the cafeteria was very good if you're looking to eat; however, there is nowhere to sit and eat it. They really need to put some tables in.
Great for events- esp the motorcycle show. Could be better if they provided free parking for motorcycles during motorcycle shows. They have increased the food options but it could better. The high ceilings are nice but the wide spaces should have more spaces to sit too.
Great infrastructure, but most people recognize it for comic Con. It's gets really packed during those days, otherwise, other events are awesome to go to. Very spacious. They have a cafeteria with popular food chains.
There are absolutely enough Starbucks locations inside this convention center to keep you caffeinated and satisfied as long as you consider two Starbucks locations to be enough
The travel show is one of the most fascinating things to see in NYC, lots of options and opportunities to get ideas to plan your trip, and some food testing will help you understand culture and flavors from around the world.
I was there for NYCC this past friday and i gotta say the staff on hand were extremely helpful and friendly. I have a bad leg and through them was able to enjoy the con more because of thier help.
I work here frequently. The staff is friendly. Always clean. But the prices are crazy high. Those of us to live in NYC know where to go to avoid the price gouging at the convention center waiting till construction across the street is done in hopes more and cheaper options will be available.
Love coming to this place every year for both the NYCC and The AutoShow! For NYCC love to cosplay and what better way than to do it here. It's a great event you get to meet many good people and have lots of fun. Now the AutoShow I'm a truck/car enthusiast so I love seeing the concept cars and future ideas as well as the upgrades they are doing to the new vehicles every year is always something new that just blows your mind. Overall this place is by far one of the best locations for this type of events and will always be coming here every year! I would definitely recommend everyone to come to the center specially for any of those two events if you like cars it's a great show and if you like anime, cartoons, or like to cosplay it's the spot to come to. There's no bad idea and you can get creative as many of cosplayer do their own costumes so you got many options to choose from just depends what you like and the benders there are always friendly. Overall is a great experience to go and check out with friends or with the family, everyone will enjoy it for sure. Hope this helps anyone out that is trying to come to amy of it's events!
Very nice and convenient facility. Just wished there were more food locations inside. When I attended there were only a couple opened.Bathrooms were clean. Free charging stations would be nice to have ....
the go to convention venue for nyc my whole life from the auto show, tech, fashion shows to comicon and star trek conventions it's a pretty great facility.
