Celebrate Pensacola Review

If you like beer, it comes highly recommended by me. If you don't like beer, I think they have water.

My dude Jake is awesome. The in-house brews are delicious, and the feel of the brewery is nice and laid-back. This was my first time going, but you can bet I'll be back.

Had the wings today and they were delicious. The Amber beer was yummy. The only thing that's a issue is the parking and I know that's not their fault. The City of Pensacola needs to fix this problem. Just get rid of pay parking or bring back the old meters. Big Top is a winner and worth the paeking hassle.

Very good food (especially the pickles), and the server was very friendly and helpful.
I came here for lunch and it was a wonderful aid-conditioned refuge on a hot day. I will probably come back next time I'm in Pensacola.

Burger-night ... crispy fries ... Hawaiian Lion Beer ... It doesn't get any better than that!

Craft beers at its finest! Try the peanut butter and jelly, and the Hawaiian lion. Definitely my new go to spot!

I am so glad to see pcola with a growing craft beer scene and when I heard big top was opening a 2nd location and it was going to be in my hometown I was extra stoked. Living in jax I get to try some of Florida's best craft beers and and I would include big top in that list. Hawaiian lion is magnificent and bests my other former coconut coffee porter fave. The staff was friendly and the food was great. I got the smoked wings with the honey Sriracha sauce and they were finger licking good and my friend got one of the flat breads and it was also very tasty. I can't wait to try more pcola breweries but I am glad I started with big top. They do need a sign so make sure to look at the Google map image so you know what the building looks like so you don't drive around the block a few times lol

Stellar service and beer recommendation-- and the food ( taco's, avocado and hummus dip and cauliflower) was amazing! Highly recommend for lunch and into the evening.

Service has improved since my first visit. Also, one word. TOTCHOS. so amazing. Great sandwiches and environment!

If you like to try beers that are not mainstream this is a good place to go.

How long should it take to get a beer in a place that isn t crowded? 20 minutes? I ve liked this place on two occasions but I ve run into issues lately that make it so I doubt I ll be back. Besides the fact that they have been randomly closed or holding loud parties in the back that affect service, the floors are sticky and the service is horrifically slow. Luckily the food was good. I almost poured my own beers and got our own waters though. The kitchen staff had to walk out and deliver the food.

One 8f the best burgers in Pensacola. Variety of beers to suit any palate. Parking...well thats city of Pensacola for ya, but worth it.

What can I say, the place has a great comfortable atmosphere and the bartender Jake is just great the beer selection is so good and the food is excellent my wife and I are nomads when it comes to eating and drinking, we like to try different places and have visited some good to not so good places, this one goes in the must return category

A fantastic experience.... great food and an awesome selection of beers. The staff was great and very friendly and accommodating. Be sure to ask about the pickle tacos....

The food was phenomenal and the beer was good. The chef came out and was interacting with customers. However our service was horrible. We were never asked if we wanted a second beer, asked if our food was ok, or given silverware or napkins, we had to get them ourselves. It took more than 20 minutes to fill a growler and run our check.

We had been there the night before just for beers and our service was awesome! Eugene was great when we came in! However, the daytime staff today was not.

Great brisket grilled cheese. Onion rings delish. Amazing assortment of beers. I tried the blueberry ale. Fun for a flight.

We went there today for lunch. Greeted upon arrival and told to sit wherever. Waited and waited for a server who turned out to be the server who told us to sit wherever . My husband went to the bar and ordered a beer. Server came, never asked if I wanted anything to drink. After looking at the menu my husband ordered a flatbread only to be told the oven wasn t working. We both settled on sandwiches. I asked for really, really crispy fries . A runner brought our food. My fries were room temperature, greasy and far from crispy. After waiting a few minutes it was obvious we weren t getting any setup. Finally I got up, went to the bar and asked another server for knives, forks and napkins which he got for me. Our server meanwhile never returned to our table until we signaled we were ready to leave. She never asked my husband if he d like another beer much less if we needed anything. After waiting 15 minutes for our check she brought the receipt. We waited about 5 minutes for her to run the credit card (she was sidetracked talking to the bartender). As we got ready to leave we looked in the brewery area and passed by the chef and 2 men who I assumed were management. We were asked how our experience was, I replied it was okay . No further inquiries on their part. If we return we will take care to sit in a section not serviced by the server we had today.

Nice spot. Industrial modern feel with good food and a nice selection of beers. Service was very friendly. Clean place.

The food is delicious and the service great! The brews are very good! Need to go more often.

The burgers are awesome, and they have fun activities during the way days (at evenings) that make it a fun place to eat, like karaoke, song bingo, and trivia nights.

Really enjoy ALL of the beers at this place. The atmosphere is cool as well. The food is hit or miss: sometimes it is very good, and sometimes it doesn t meet our expectations. Some of food seems slightly over priced and not as advertised, but there have been other times when the food has been amazing. Would definitely recommend to grab a beer.

First time there and couldn t be more impressed. Couldn t decide between Taco Tuesday deal and the famous Cuban so got both! Sure am glad I did cuz they were delicious, the homemade pickles were a must have. All the menu items looked amazing so I am sure I ll be back soon! Definitely recommend

This? This is downtown's best kept secret. It's a stone's throw away from Palafox, and has the best food and brew in town. Seriously, you can pay an extra six bucks to go to rat infested build-a-burger, or you can have the best burger of your life at Bigtop. I liked the food even better than the Urban Swinery, which was almost four times as much.

Perfect for dates, parties and just getting a good IPA. The only downside is they have no liquour. A blessing in disguise as the booters don't flood the place.

Always a great place for a Beer. They have a top notch staff! So many good beers and the food is above par for downtown Pensacola. It should be everyone's mid week stop for dinner and a brewski!

Outstanding selection of beers, great food but is not pet friendly.

Was charged .50 cent for extra thousand island for my $10 reuben, meanwhile there's a bottle of ketchup on the table to use at will.

I have tried over and over to support this place. I came by This Sunday and they had a sign on their door, closed at 6 PM.....UNRELIABLE

Thought the food was okay. We got the tater tot appetizer and also the guacamole and queso. I only got a chance to try one of the beers called the Suncoast I thought it was okay. The tough part was there were a lot of kids inside of this place and a restaurant there weren't any high chairs which was tough for having a year-and-a-half old. Other than that we had a pleasant experience.

I love this place! Always friendly, great service and food, and of course great brews! Can t wait to social gather again there!

The beer - delicious ! Had to fix correct our previous review bc Marie was a great server ! It was slammed and she was wearing a proton pack ( pensacon ) but she rocked it! Great menu recommendations and beer advice. We will be back !!

Stopped in and started reading the menu. I noticed it said "0 IBUs" for a bunch of the beers and even a few of the IPAs. When I asked the bartender about it he looked confused about what an IBU was and then finally said, "some beers don't have any IBUs". I'm sure the beers had hops, and the beer wasn't too bad, but the lack of knowledge from the server and the sloppy menu really turned me off from this brewery. I may try again in a few months to see if things are any better.

Great burger and they stepped up on there hazy wire IPA.

Tried to stop in tonight around 10:20pm since they advertise they re open until 11pm on multiple platforms. Got a big head shake & Nah guys we re closed, these guys are just closing up their tabs and that s it. from the bar tender. I d tell if you the beer was good but they wouldn t let me have any. Customer service is important, don t advertise you re open until 11pm if you re not.

Good beer selection and the food was great. Steven was an awesome server and made sure we had everything we needed.

The food is great and the beer is good, but the service tends to be slow and inconsistent. As far as sports bars go, this place shouldn t even be able to claim the title. They close at 8 on Mondays, closed at halftime for the College National Championship and don t have the ability to play the audio for any of the games. I keep wanting to come back because the food really is good but it s a terrible place to watch sports and the kitchen hours are unreliable at best.

If you blink you will miss it. Only signage is the word BREWERY out front. Good beers, only one Gose or sour on tap. Food was very good. The roast beef sandwich and the flat breads were great.

The blood orange brew was amazing, the cuban sandwich was perfect with homemade pickles, and above all the service was outstanding! Eugene waited our table and he made the experience great!

Excellent food and some really good beer. Big Top has a lot of beers, but they haven't gotten their 'brewed in house' beers going yet, so I'm looking forward to that. Hopefully it will be soon. They have a good beer selection and good happy hour specials. All the food I've had has been great. They're always doing specials too.

Sometimes there's a little wait to get a beer, but they've gotten better and better with that issue every time I've been in, and when they've got a couple people behind the bar it moves a lot quicker.

Looking forward to the brewed in house beers.

Stopped here a couple times and was looking forward to trying the pumpkin beer on draft tonight. The bartender made multiple rounds around the bar and ignored us every single time. He repeatedly gazed right by us and continued to give attention to what appeared to be his friends. Not cool. We'll see if this place is still around in a few months.

First time visiting Big Top Brewing Company. Food was delicious and the sevice was exceptional. I highly recommend coming here.

Maggie is the BOMB! She gave us the best service! The restaurant is the best and most amazing experience! The beer is great! The food is amazing! The service is unmatched! You want to come here and we highly recommend Maggie and the Cuban Sandwich!!

Best beer downtown. Menu is great. Never had anything I didn't enjoy. Manager is always coming by to check on you.

Came here with my wife, and I loved their beer. Jake helped us make decisions on what to drink, and helped us find one of our favorite beers. We will definitely be back!

Jacob B. was an excellent server and enforcer of the mask rule recently put in place in FL. We are from out of town visiting family and stopped by for some brews and food. We felt safe and enjoyed our experience thoroughly! Excellent beer, food, and friendly service. I highly recommend Big Top Brewing Co. to anyone looking for a nice atmosphere (with good music my mom enjoyed!) and great beers. Cheers!

I brought a bunch of folks here visiting from DC. They're out of Hawaiian lion and key lime wheat. It's all I talked about and they're out!! I'm embarrassed...

There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. It has a cool atmosphere.

Loved it, the food was delicious, and served in a timely manner. Service was excellent and the beer was quite tasty.

The atmosphere was great but the food was the star. My wife and I stopped by for lunch and were so glad we did! The portions were more than we could eat but we certainly wanted to keep eating. You ll love this place!!

The service was quick and friendly and the beer is awesome! I tried the wings and they are on point. Bartenders and serving staff are the best. Definitely coming back!

Have had several weekday lunches here. Have gone with the Fire Chicken Sandwich, lamb burger, regular burger, and oyster tacos, and the fries. The chicken was a moist and well cooked chicken thigh on a fresh bun, and their house made pickles were great. The burgers were done rare just like I had asked. The fries have been crispy on all but one visit. Wouldn't hesitate to get any of them again. Usually choose a sour beer to wash it down, if I get a beer, and that was also great. Stellar selection of their own brews which cover a lot of tastes, so you are likely to find one you like. And the service is always friendly and efficient!

Great brewery. Unlike most local breweries around here, their beer tastes like its actually been jept fermenting long enough. The beer is tap crisp, and you can choose room temp or cold beer (i like thick beer at room temp for my bad tooth). Came during pensacon weekend and they literally perfected the brine of the chicken wings. Our server was gorgeous and spot on and quick. Will go back again for sure

Beer is good, atmosphere is solid, staff is friendly.

Second time here - 1st time awful service from the bartender - but the beer and the food was fantastic. Friends kept saying the service they had was great so we came back - if you wait yourself you can get drinks, but don t expect some of the wait staff to pay attention to you. From an observation point of view we have seems some excellent service from other servers and both bartenders today are fantastic (we went up to order another round and they brought them out to us) only for then to have a server ask us if we needed anything. Would have been great to have food today but we were never asked. Time to leave and grab a bite to eat somewhere else.

Best Cuban sandwich and homemade fries I have EVER had and the blood orange beer was incredible! Love this place!!!
