Best thrill amusement park in the United States. Very happy to get to go all the time. HalloWeekends is one of the highlights of October.

Spend the 110 and get fast lane plus if you're able. Could have gotten on everything twice. Eat before you go, though, because amusement parks are outrageous on food. Water cups are always free though. Stay hydrated and remember that if you throw up, you'll stall the ride for an hour. Please be courteous and have a great time.
A little mad that if you purchased any "add ons" on the new Gold Pass, they will not work until the season starts in 2020. I went on Saturday, and the dining and drink pass both worked fine. I went again on Sunday, and was denied from using my dining pass as the worker stated it was for 2020. I visited guest service and they stated that they were letting it go thru on Saturday because it was so busy. I feel like if Cedar Point is going to let the Gold Pass buyers in the park for the rest of season, the add ons that were bought should work as well.
Best amusement park in the world if not the United states. World record rollercoasters on multiple coasters. If you haven't been there you need to go. It's worth paying extra for fast lane plus walked on to every ride with little to no wait. Make sure you ride steel vengeance coaster.
Best plan of action is to get there by 9:30 to get a decent parking spot, buy a meal pass and drink pass that you can share through out the day.
Much Busier Now with Everyone Getting the Gold Pass.. Lines were an hour for old rides and 2 hours for Better Rides. Avoid Hugo's Italian, Not Good.
We truly had a ball. It was my feinces first time there. Epic time!
Super fun amusement park to go to! The only thing I d say is flawed is their traffic system bc they for sure need to work on that. Also the food prices are very expensive. But besides that no complaints. If you go you must ride Steel Vengeance, maverick, too thrill dragster, millennium force, and valraven
It was great but those lines...... but I feel like everywhere your going to get that and the lines weren't as long as great America parking wasn't too bad and we came pretty late in the day. The rides were definitely better then great America or anything I've ever seen the baby rides are even really good so I most defiantly recommend but those bathrooms..... You really should consider using a cup or something cause OMG. There was broccoli EVERYWHERE with noodles and what not. And there was vomit. Water splashed every where. I was LUCKY to get a clean stall. But that's the only thing can complain about everything else was nice and clean. And you should expect there to be vomit because it is packed full of GREAT roller costers. Food options were GREAT. Panda express subway chi-fil-a and the prices were just like the restaurants! delicious man but if you trying to get some dippin dots. You might want to put your wallet away going from 8$ large $5. 79 Small 7$ medium But it was worth it LOL..... They even have new flavors. If your looking for food you can definitely find something you like and in budget. I didn't go to the water park but from what I saw there were lotsss of rides. Also this is the first place I saw water rides that you could get a little wet in. It had water shoot like a volcano while you ride. Pretty cool. All in all O give a 4 stars BC I'm mad that you can't sit in the front if you don't have fast pass for certain rides customer service was ok and that bathroom speaks for itself. The fast pass are suppppperr expensive coming at 106$ for the NORMAL ones. The pass plus just gives you access to more rides but it's 60$ extra bucksJanitorial it wasn't the best but did it hit the apex. Yes it did!!
The king of amusement parks, and for good reason. It's huge, with tons to do. Some subjective gripes do include having a lack of indoor theater entertainment (covid aside of course) for the hotter days, and a lack of "medium-type rides" for the not-so-brave. A must-do for coaster lovers with plenty to do for those who don't love roller coasters as well. It's pretty incredible overall, and I cannot recommend Cedar Point enough. Bring sunscreen, and a jacket/sweater for the cooler evenings.
I liked Cedar Point" because the rides were fantastic, but the food was a little bit expensive.
That's my dog his name is Cooper he is 6 years old and an English bulldog we got him from a family when he was 3 who could no longer have him it seemed really Sketchy when we got him but he turned out great I know this has nothing to do with cedar point but I'm just trying to get up my accolades on local guide also I'm level 5 and I'm a kid so yeah I'm a Savage but cedar point is fun go browns
Had a great time despite the rain today. I am a season pass holder so it wasn't a big deal that I only rode a few rides. Wasn't too crowded, relatively short wait times. I watched a few shows and looked in gift shops while it was raining.
The protections they had in place were a HUGE comfort. The staff was just as good as ever and the rides were a blast! It wasn't even hard wearing the mask all day and they do have rest places where masks aren't required.
Terrible. Majority or the rides were shut down, what rides that were open continously were breaking down. We waited in lines for almost four hours to only ride 1 ride. Left the park after standing for an hour to hear the Top Thrill dragster was down for maintenance. We traveled 5 hours to come here just to be disappointed. Will never come back.
Still crowded. 1.5hr wait per ride. They aren't selling fast passes
Amazing roller coasters. Many other fun thrills as well. Very open and clean park.
Well set up for covid social distancing and lots of measures properly taken. Good job Cedar point.
Cedar Point offers an impressively large theme park with an impressive spread of different rides, Thrill Rides, Roller Coasters, more mild family rides, just to name a few, they also offer $15 for unlimited refills of Coca-Cola beverages which one could potentially utilize to drink up to 4 gallons of Coke in a 9 hour period
I highly recommend this theme park
It's fun but you only get to go on a few rides because it's so busy and when I was there the one ride I wanted to go on most was closed down
Enjoyed riding the roller coasters. Wish the dragster was up and running when I was there otherwise than that, I had a blast
This is a great park tons of rides and it s America s rocking roller coast
OMG coming back next year I loved this place for like ever yea a lot of rides were closed but those were rides I was to scared to ride and the lines are long but it's worth it I love this place please don't be rude just because they are trying to follow the government order
Nothing else like this place on earth. They have the best lineup of rollercoasters of any park. The location only add to the beauty of the lush gardens making this a unique experience that should be experienced by all! Food options are typical amusement park offering, but they have been improving the offering every year over the past 5 years. The shows are top of their class for regional entertainment, and in some cases as good as Disney and Universal. Make sure you devote at least 2 days here otherwise you will miss out on many experiences. Don t forget to check out the beach!
Go about three times a season, just love it! My favorite place in the world!
I love everything here! From our boat to the park and to the beach
We stayed at the cabins that was the best option early entrance to park please ride steel vengance omg that ride is amazing
I absolutely love coming here I've recently made it a thing to come every weekend, the gold pass was definitely worth the money.
Ride times were off from what the sign would say. Some people said it was the Fast Track wait time. Not sure but ended up spending a lot of time waiting in line. Will be nice when the Frontier thing opens to see what it looks like.
It's a fun place for everyone but if you like to ride roller coasters it's totally awesome
This is one of my favorite places in the world. I'm an Ohioan, but I live in Florida, so I hadn't visited in years. It's even more fun now. If you have the money, the fast track is worth it. We got to ride the Steel Vengeance in a quarter of the time it took others. The Gate Keeper is my new favorite, but the Millennium Force definitely holds up.
It was amazing! Much better than six flags in Atlanta for comparison, absolutely next level. The rides are great and the views from them are even better!
My kids and their friends had a great day! The app made it very helpful to navigate the park and stay up to date on wait times for rides.
So my experience there was overall great and I had a blast all weekend. I went 2 days almost a month ago. But I'm giving this 4 stars for the food service there. As someone who works in the food industry, I understand the need to hustle during a rush. But I saw people who just seem to casually go about their jobs like there was no rush. The employee I encountered had trouble with the food and drink vouchers. I feel the faster they can get out the food product, the more money Cedar Fair is gonna make at the end of the day. Also more options for the food would be nice. When you smell some good BBQ but you spent $30 on an all day plan, you don't wanna spend $10+ on that BBQ. Maybe we could get half off or something? That might entice me to buy some. Planning on returning next year for at least a 3 day trip
Cedar Point's Halloweekends is worth paying for an extra trip. They do a really nice job with the park transformation to appeal to kids and adults. I recommend on going during a cooler or potentially rainy day as the park will be packed if it is seasonably warm and sunny. The lines for the haunted houses and even the travel ways in the spooky areas are jam packed and that lessens the fun as the actors don't have room to move around. Well worth the visit though, even if you made a summer time trip already.
I love Cedar Point! If you like amusement and love parks, you should come to our one and only Cedar Point! Great times and beautiful views!
Always a good time, especially when its not crowed. Tons of fun roller coasters to ride over and over again. Plenty of food options around the park. The water park is nice too especially on those really hot days when you cant find any shade. We used a grill in the pavilion area that worked out pretty well, our group met for lunch, cooked, drank, and headed back out to the park to ride until they closed the park. Good Times!
This is my favorite theme park. It s more fun with a fast pass plus.
I love going here even though. Finally was able to go to Cedar Point after not going for so many years. I definitely expected some rides to be closed down, since the prices of the tickets were really cheap. I was right, but still had fun. Going during Covid is a different experience, which made waiting in the lines a little slower than usual, but they were very strict about social distancing in lines and rides. You were not able to pay cash for anything and you had to buy your tickets online and fill out a health form. Which is only one form per group of people going. Also you have to wear your mask in the park the entire time and you cannot take it off. So yes, you have to wear it on rides. Honestly, it wasn't all that bad.
Oh yeah one downfall with our whole experience burgers from the firetruck stand. I hate to say that, but it was a HUGE rip off. Paid $53 for 4 burgers thinking they were going to be good size burgers and they definitely were not. Had to go to another food joint in there to buy food because we were all still hungry after eating those small burgers. I understand that food is overpriced but it shouldn't be so overpriced that I feel I was ripped off. Just suggesting that you should at least get your money's worth. I convinced myself that it was helping the firefighters of whatever station they were from, but even when ordering and picking up the food, they weren't nice at all. And seemed like they didn't want to be there and being bothered by people.
As I said that was the only downfall, but other than that we had a wonderful time.
Huge disappointment in 2020! Why bother opening and why charge full price for tickets? Im not an anti masker, im not denying covid is real and harmful. But I showed up at 2pm and 99% sure I will only get to ride two rides. the line Im stuck in(which is my 2nd ride and it is 530pm) is going to be my last chance to ride before close. I only grabbed one drink, super quick, then headed to the next ride so I didn't bs around getting from one ride to another. Sad af. Stop charging full price! Oh, and if you are making us socially distance and loading rides with distance between different parties then sanitize after each use. Cedar point, your way of conducting business is fraudulent.
If you love roller coasters, this place is a MUST- visit. There's literally no other amusement park in the U.S. that comes close to this place. And if it's crowded, fork over the extra cheddar for the Fast Pass. It was worth every penny on Labor Day weekend.
What can I say....are you a person who loves roller coasters and thrill rides??? If do, Cedar Point is the place for you. They have so many record breaking coasters you cannot possibly ride them all in just one day.
Got small children? Take them into kiddie land or Camp Snoopy. Plenty of rides for the younger set await.
Like music shows? Walk along Frontier Trail and pop into any of a number of show venues. If music isn't your thing there is s glass blower, old fashioned candy making, a wood Carver, a blacksmith and leather works.
I suggest packing a cooler and going out to your car to eat only because eating in the park is quite costly. An order of French fries is like $10. A beer is $10.25, and a cheeseburger and fries was $22. A glass that has unlimited fills of soda for the day costs $14.99. it is a nice douvenir cup and can be filled at numerous places throughout the park.
All in all it is a slightly expensive ($55 a day ticket) but extremely fun family day.
Experience wise: An amazing thrilling experience like no other. You probably should come with an empty stomach otherwise you're likely to empty it on someone's face.
Waiting wise: Well, the wait time is expected, but the heat and the sun during summer times is a problem. There is some but not enough shading nor airflow within the wait lines. They're probably saying "well if you got a quick pass you wouldn't have had your brains cooked in the sun".
Fun rides, we had fast passes so the process went fast, confessions were quite pricey but that's to be expected.
Nice clean park with lots of roller coasters and rides
Me and my family recently came here this past week for castaway bay and then cedar point. We had such a great time! Although I wish we would've got fast passes. It was Wednesday so I didnt think there would be 45 minute waits like that for rides, so next time I'll be sure to get a fast pass. Great rollercoasters!! I would consider buying a house near cedar point in the future so that I could come annually all the time!!
Several coasters are down. The lines are three to four hours long on the ones that are running with one car on the track. We may ride one ride while here and drove 4 and 1/2 hours to get here not to mention drive home. So much money to spend!
If you're unfamiliar with this place, you're missing out! Even if you don't like rollercoasters, there are great shows to go see all throughout the day. The food is on the pricier side, so I'd recommend that you either pack a cooler, or make an evening out of one of the local restaurants/fast food joints.
Cedar Point has been around for a long time and once you go its not hard to underatand why. They are on the leading edge of coaster building, yet also have coasters that have been there for 40 or more years. A great blend of old and new is what gives this place the amazing vibe that only the best theme parks in the world have. Its no wonder this place is always busy and everyone there is having a great time
My family and I had a lot of fun. We had to purchase our tickets in advance so they could limit the amount of people in the park. Cedar Point staff was on it about masks. They made sure before and after every ride the reminded you to socially distance and keep your mask on, and was not afraid to tell someone to put their mask over there nose lol. The lines weren't to bad, and they had marked spots for people to stay 6 feet apart. On the rides themselves they were half full. They had us riding every other seat.
All in all I felt safe, and still had a wonderful time.
Great park. Some of the best roller coaster around.
Lots of fun. Gr8 day. Bad for passes but overall good time.
The best amusement park in the world, and they are constantly adding new unique fantastic rides. Maverick has been my favorite for a while, but Steel Vengeance and Millennium are pretty close behind.
Saturdays tend to be the busiest days, especially during the summer. If you want the shortest lines possible, go to the park on a weekday when school and college are in session.
Pretty nice place, onpar with six flags. The wait for the rides was very fast. If I had adventurous people with me I could've gotten on all the rides in one day.
Coaster Capital of the world. what's not to love ! (
The absolute best amusement park in the world. The highlights are the amazing array of intense roller coasters. The park is also extremely well maintained to even rival a Disney park. Get the Fast Pass Plus, even though it costs quite a bit extra, as it will make your day super enjoyable - you will be able to ride 4x as many rides as those that don't have the pass.
It was awesome! Except that.. people who smoke, don't follow the rules about the smoking policy! Why do you have a smoking destination near children rides and the pavilion? I think you should make it a smokeless park because of people who have a lung disease and children and babies and for people who are allergic to cigarette's. Other than that, it was awesome!!!!!!!!!
Love it. This year is funky but its still worth a trip. Went 3 weekends in a row just living life. I always get the food and drink pass as a adult. Well worth the 50 bucks. Share food every 90 min. Deal in those super hot days.
All i can say is after dropping off wife and daughter its nice that they refund for parking if exiting with in 30min of entering parking.
Looks like some fun but i don't do roller coasters wife loves em. Suggest weekdays for both parks as the wait for lines was no more then 20min and often alot less! About the cedar shores water park of cedar point i can say me and boy had a blast!
Lots of fun slides, and wave pool.
On the slides with pods that drop you
Recommend getting locker $15 for small and up since no shoes sandles or anything you carry really can go on ride with you.
If you want to wear sunglasses you'll gave to hold them on the rides. Beer was $11 and cocktails around $8 a bit pricy but worth it. Free cups of water for the kids though.
Not a fan of the unfriendly polish young staff though. One ride guy just sat there well my son struggled to understand how to sit on the tube!! You have it easy try my job for a day lazy unappreciative staff. One girl at wave pool was sweet though saw my son was limping from a leg cramp and gave us a cup of ice. Bar staff made good drinks too!
Had one hellbof a blast at 2019 Hallow-Weekends. Got a hotel for the weekends. 16 hours of walking and riding. Definately got my cardio in for the week. Cant wait til 2020 season
Had a great time even though we got rained out! The rides are great! The Maverick is my personal favorite but there were so many good rides. We spent 5 hours here and didnt even get to ride them all. Will definitely be back! I have to say the food was outrageously priced! It was just the 2 of us and we stopped at a bbq place and it was over $40 bucks. We didn't opt for a meal plan though and honestly I have no idea what the pricing is like, this was our first visit and no one shared any information about meal plans so I didn't know it was an option. Really had a great time! Next time I will look into the meal plans or just plan a meal break in the middle that might include leaving the park.
Very clean and well kept. The drive there is amazing being that it is on an a island. This place has something for everyone. The beach is clean. You can walk around the beach area with your drinks openly. Also there food is great. I recommend anyone and there family to go to cedar point I had a great experience.and believe anyone else will as well
It's getting expensive... but still the only thing worth going to Ohio for.
The best friggin amusement park in the United States! Spend the day having the time of your life, going on the millennium force, Gemini and raptor are necessities. Must stop for out of towners.
Fun rides. Some of the staff seemed uninterested in doing their jobs.
Visited this place from Chicago boy was it spectacular!!!! So many roller coasters to choose from! Beautiful Snoopy land for kids of all ages! Best roller coaster u must try is Turbo Maxxx!! Over 450ft in air at 120 mph!!! The fireworks were a blast! If ur on vacation definitely try this place you won't regret it!!
Best roller coaster park ever! Love it, even after visiting nearly every year for the past 30 years.
Gold pass for 2019/2020 has ruined the cedar point experience.
The pass may seem great because of the low cost but EXTREMELY long lines kills the fun. An amusement park that has too many people that it's designed for is NOT a good time.
Very fun good food adrenaline rushing rides only down side when it rains
Can be very very busy. I am a season pass holder for the first time this year and so far its been the best investment I've ever made. The deals you get with the pass are great and the ease of use of getting one and using it are awesome. Can't wait to go back when they open in the spring.
One of my favorite places on the planet. Traveled all around the US to amusement parks and none compare to the enjoyment I find here. Been going at least annually since I was 5 years old and it keeps getting better. Millennium Force is still the best ride
This park is perfect for roller coaster enthusiast. There are a TON of thrilling rides for all tastes. However, it s a bit large and it never seems to have enough seating. The walking can be tiresome and without adequate benches you will be exhausted.
Today was a record attendance day. It was all over the news. The lines where OBVIOUSLY long but the park workers and all of the Halloweekeds performers where GREAT!! Good shows with acrobats and dancers, live music. Sat in traffic on Cedar point drive for 3 hours but still had fun!
I've been going there since I was a baby I love it's my favorite place in the whole wide world
Loved it from ease of entrance to convenient amenities. It's expensive like a typical theme and some rides have a long wait but once you download the app for the park map and ride wait times, the experience is much better because you can plan around.
Had a great time here!
Sucks half of the rides were closed but I understand it was not safe at the time. I did not like that the drink stations started to be out of ice towards the last few hours of the park...
I've been to Cedar Point atleast 150 times. It's a fun amusement park, if you love roller coasters, or drinking. The park is also surprisingly clean, for an amusement park.
Good place to spend some time! As a platinum pass holder, it becomes a fairly inexpensive pastime. They're constantly adding more fun, you just have to pay attention to it.
