Poor service from hotel staff that won't simply answer a question. Room was not as promised and all I got was, sorry sir we're fully booked. What about the thousands of dollars I spent on 2 nights? Concierge would make commitments, then not be able to come through. Food was average and drinks were even worse. This may be "the place to be" on Mykonos, but you can do better.

Ideal, both the service and the facilities, decoration and the details of the place. Perfect to relax in the purest mediterranean deluxe style. Spectacular sunsets from the infinity pool.

Great location, unbeatable view but up to now. At least for the Greek public, the view alone is not something that augments the imagery it has of great parts of Greece. The price of 1200 euros / night for this suite is inversely proportional and very much over-priced compared to similar units abroad. Very simple in terms of cost and with a serious lack of maintenance, from the private pool floor to the non-contact glass bathroom doors. The jacuzzi wanted maintenance and meticulous cleaning as well as the products provided in the bathroom very low entry for such a room. In addition to the excellent breakfast (meals we didn't try as we chose to dine in the country) and the service (which unfortunately the year I visited most of them were not Greeks) Overall my experience moderately thinking about being at a top unit in Aspen by far the better room the charge was less. For the fair of my case my critique is not about summer 2018 I just enriched it and added photos.

MY REVIEW IS FOR THE HOTEL TAGOO NOT THE CAVA TAGOO and WAS ENTERED UNDER THE HOTEL TAGOO. I CAN ALSO SEE MANY OTHER REVIEWS HERE THAT ARE NOT ABOUT THE CAVA TAGOO.

Just like hundreds of other people I keep coming back to this hotel. And I know they keep coming back because I keep bumping into people I know! I have never been to a hotel quite like this! It run a by a great family and, in the wonderful tradition of the Greek people, you soon become an extension of their family. And you come across people who could clearly afford to stay in the most expensive hotels on the island, but they prefer to stay here. What better recommendation could you have.

Note: I do recommend that you read Robert Hunt's comments below about booking this hotel. There are a lot of "wannabee" Hotel Tagoo's out there. So I suggest you follow his advice if you don't want to be disappointed and find you are in the wrong hotel when you arrive!

Magnificent hotel, a breathtaking view!
Small problem, the room was not very well cleaned when we arrived.

One of our most booked hotels for island hopping in Greece, boasts a great location, nice atmosphere and great hospitality. The Hotel Cavo Tagoo boasts an excellent spa, a spa with gym, heated indoor pool, sauna and a hammam invite you to relax. The staff convinces with friendliness and expertise.

The island is super nice although a bit overcrowded

Beautiful hotel but very expensive! No beaches nearby and have to commute to Mykonos town. Stay and have a laugh watching the poolside posers

The Cavo Tagoo in Mykonos is a very luxurious hotel. The ambience of this facility is simply beyond description. The view is awesome. The great breakfast and the great snacks can only be recommended. Popular place for every sunset.

I find it beautiful to visit, but it's not my party style!

Awesome place with great personal. You get what you pay for. Don't come here if you don't want to spend money. We tried many things from the menu, everything was very good. The only negative thing was that they tried to rush us out to clear the table for next customer, so their service was super fast and we didn't enjoy the whole experience fully. Still, 5 star experience.

Just beautiful the most beautiful sunset I have ever done

Every year we travel to Mykonos we have a house there, we have once passed through the hotel which is wonderful to have an aperitif or cocktail at night an impeccable place and service.
What was the surprise of this year we went there and a lady stopped when we went to the pool area, we told her we wanted to take something and she told us that we could only take something bar area that the rest was exclusively for the clients of the hotel thing that I see normal like many hotels, other years you could have a cocktail without any problem, the surprising thing is that we sit at a table in front of the bar where the lady told us and when we sit down a girl comes and tells us that sit there there is pay 150 per person and starts to laugh was very funny me and my husband we leave and only a reflection is not a little vulgar forms, put the prices they want if I can stay and if I do not leave, But gentlemen, to say about the 150 laughing and with so little elegance is very very vulgar, almost. It is better not to let anyone enter that is not ospede in the hotel.
By the way the lady as great as a model of the entrance of the pool speaks only English, or French, Italian, German, Arabic nothing of course or Spanish and that half of the American continent speaks Spanish is to reflect on any fashion store of Paseo de gracia of Barcelona or great boutique you can attend. in a number of languages.

Fortunately We have spent only one night the hotel is good but the staff is unfriendly, 30 mn delay to take our room, it was our honey moon but there was no special treatment, unlike other hotels of the same standard which offered us welcome drink. We dont recommand it.
However cavo tago of santorini was perfect with a perfect staff especially the manager Manos he s top top.

Stuck at the entrance with the excuse that there were no more seats available. Only tables with minimum consumption 500 euros.

A little overpriced, but fun. You pay for the views, and that is worth it.

Came here for sunset, dinner and drinks. The service was good. The food was good certain appetizers options fell short on flavor for the price. The desserts were fantastic. The view and atomosphere were worth the visit for one time.

Well just one thing to point out the transportation.

Pricey is an understatement, and no value for money whatsoever. Had a friend staying there in the honeymoon suite and for what he paid I was shocked as to what he received and how basic the room actually was. In another country you could rent a palace for that kinda money. The room service menu is so poor and the food was even worse. I don't know how this is a 5 star property. I think the name and the mere fact that celebs stay at this property give it a chance for people wanting to stay there but I would not personally stay there even if I had excess cash

The hotel is great, each room has its own characteristics, we have three rooms, not the same.
