Beautiful and unique satellite location of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (headquartered in San Francisco) that hears most federal appeals coming out of Southern California and Arizona. Used to be a hotel. Beautiful and unique building. Well worth the visit if you are interested in federal buildings.

This court has been overruled at the Supreme Court...

This court has been overruled at the Supreme Court more than any other court. The judges on this court are political activists with no interest in preserving the Constitution. It could even be argued this court is in collusion with others wishing to overthrow the Constitution.

Over 80% of all cases brought before the Supreme Court from the 9th Circuit have been overruled as violating the Constitution.

This level of ineptitude could very well be argued for an impeachment of all judges. The United States Senate has removed judges from office for substantial questionable conduct, even if no crime was committed. For example, Judge Robert Woodrow Archbald was impeached and removed from office for improper business relationships with litigants. One reason for this may be the life tenure bestowed upon federal judges and the Congress' place in upholding the good behavior of judges which should also include a history of unconstitutional rulings.

"From 1999 to 2008, of the 0.151% of Ninth Circuit Court rulings that were reviewed by the Supreme Court, 20% were affirmed, 19% were vacated, and 61% were reversed; the median reversal rate for all federal appellate courts was 68.29% for the same period.[7]

"From 2010 to 2015, of the cases it accepted to review, the Supreme Court reversed around 79 percent of the cases from the Ninth Circuit, ranking its reversal rate third among the circuits; the median reversal rate for all federal circuits for the same time period was around 70 percent." -Politifact

Please do some research and don't believe everything you read.

Anyway, this courthouse is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend visiting if you're ever in the area.

This court has been overruled at the Supreme Court more than any other court. Personal agenda following hidden agenda's not following the citizens U.S. Constitution. Waste on taxpayer money by granting appeals against the U.S. Constitution. Ethically corrupted, no moral compass. How do we over throw these idiots (non-deserving to be called judges) ?

Following WWII, this beautiful hotel, a favorite of Hollywood stars, was converted into a military hospital It housed and treated veterans who suffered from "shell shock". It was a mental ward. When the hospital closed, due to fewer patients, the building became a Federal Office building. In 1972-1973 I was commander of a Defense Investigative Agency office, and was a tenant on the third floor. The only tenant. The rest of the building was closed off. My unit had about 15 investigators and staff. On the grounds of the hotel there were three or four "Casitas" or private quarters for the Hollywood elite. These seem to be gone now.
In about 1972 mid year a US Senator moved in on the ground floor of the main building. We didn't socialize.
