Bought a rehabilitated house from cava less than two years ago. I paid full asking price & had the house inspected. Cava did repair the items on the inspection list before the closing. One month later the HVAC condensation pump failed. Cava sent a contractor who fixed the pump; he told me he had wanted to route the pump line another way so it wouldn t freeze but was nixed by Cava...he said if he had been allowed to install properly the failure could have been avoided. Six months later my roof leaked. Cava said they had not done anything to the roof so they weren t responsible. My home inspection report said otherwise. I paid out of pocket to fix the leak. Now - a year later - the exterior paint is peeling off the house in sheets. Every paint contractor who has looked at it has said the same thing- the wood had not been properly cleaned & no primer was applied. A single coat of latex paint was used & the wrong type of caulk was used in the seams.

The Cava Team has just finished two bathroom remodels for us and the experience has been great. Their crews are punctual and the work is high quality. Their design and construction team took our ideas and made them a reality. We are using Cava for a large scale addition in 2020 and look forward to working with them again. Kudos to Cava Companies for putting our minds at ease through this process and establishing repeat customers.

After a recent refinance, I have gotten literally hundreds of spam texts from Cava asking about buying my home. This has been goin on for months and is on the verge of harassment. I never asked to be signed up to receive automated texts from this company and I never gave them my phone number so they could contact me.

First, I d like to apologize. It s been months since I purchased my home from Cava. Could not be happier. The delay did allow me to see how they responded to a couple of problems that came up, as they do, and test it out a while.

The quality of the renovation is impeccable, I lived nearby and watched it get done. They took their time and did everything right. The scope of work and degree of aesthetic change is equally impressive. I looked at over 30 houses in the Fan, lived in RVA for 15+ years, and have never seen better work.

The few problems that I encountered; a leaky toilet, a cracked window and an unfortunately placed drainage pan for the washer were dealt with the same way. Instantly and above and beyond any reasonable expectation. The HVAC bills have been reasonable and there was no water in the basement even after that 18 of rain in 18 days. The house is quiet and comfortable, even being on a corner.

From each appliance, to every concern, to all the things great and small: attention is being paid. So impressed that I m almost sorry I won t have to move again anytime soon. Thanks especially to Nate who knew everything that had been done and was determined to make sure I was happy. I am, thank you all.
