A great place for children very good staff and work with family
It's a fantastic place, when I was there I was broken. I didn't know how to move on with my life and they helped me. They showed me the way to becoming the person I now am. They taught me how to advocate for who i am, how to know that it's okay to not be okay. I owe frankly, my life to the program here. Words can never describe how much love I have for this place. I may have hated it at the time. (We all hate getting help when we really need it.) That does not however change the fact that I miss it dearly many days. Some of the happiest moments I can recall happened on that campus.
Hi, I'm coral Delaney I have been to cathedral home for children before. Currently I'm now a past resident of cathedral home. My experience was a great experience for me. It taught me a lot. I learned that they understand what you have been through. If I could put it into words it would be that they help through the struggles and they care.I went through some struggles for,my first time there. I hope that if people go there to cathedral home they will be in my shoes.
I sustained multiple injuries and went through 3 years of abuse here. Because the abuse I sustained I have been left permanently disabled due to multiple spinal injuries caused by an illegal forms of punishment and other forms of abuse.
Tried to get over it, heal from it and remember only the good but I have found it impossible when taking into account how many people here actively covered for my abusers or simply turned a blind eye.
