They have the communion rail and the Stations of the Cross from St Boniface's Church that closed many years ago. It was my home church growing up. It is comforting to see these again.

This is a very beautiful and historic Roman Catholic Church in Philadelphia. I came here for mass when I was visiting Philadelphia, and I found the church to be absolutely stunning and definitely worth a visit. The priest here if you have a great homily as well. Most importantly, the church feels like it is air-conditioned and cool even when it is very hot outside.

Very Roman Catholic basilica. Forgive, but I am from the NYC area and this is not a St. Patrick's cathedral. That said, it is a beautiful cathedral, very traditional, excellent statuary in a style no longer to be found, and some exceptional stained glass that I could literally spend a day examining. If you appreciate classic religious style, this is the best you will find in Philly.

On special days such as December 24, there's only one place where I want to attend mass: the Cathedral. There's a group of musicians, a cantor and a choir, and the place is decorated nicely. Christmas Eve mass at the Cathedral is beautiful! Christ is born! Merry Christmas!

The Cheltenham Area Multifaith Council was honored to be the guests of the Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Peter & Paul in April. An outstanding tour guide, Jim, was assigned to our group. He was a wealth of information. Our interfaith group (most of whom were not Catholic) was enormously moved by the experience.

This is the most amazing and incredible architecture in Philadelphia. When you enter the Basilica is like you are in the another world. Its breathtakingly beautiful. It soothe your sorrows and transport you to another place. It feels like you are in heaven. A place of refuge from all the hassles and noise outside the city. You have to go visit and spend some time learning and meditating. I was moved and came out feel like a new person. You can also have a confession too. A must see when you are in Philly.

So incredibly beautiful and a blessed surprise for me and my two children. We were site seeing in Philly and wanted to stop in the basilica to offer intentions and stumbled upon a Latin Mass with a Capella singing. We felt like angels were singing for us.

Attending Sunday Mass at the Cathedral is a breath-taking experience of the majesty of our transcendent God and the beauty of the Catholic religion. You really feel that you have entered sacred space. Everyone involved in the Mass - priest, cantor, lectors and altar servers - are extremely reverent. And the music is just gorgeous!

A beautiful church in the middle of the city. When entering it's silent and peaceful. So worth the visit to pray. Just put your cameras down and cell phones and allow for the peace of Christ present to speak to your heart.

This place is extremely special to me; while the catholic church and its teachings have been challenged by many, based on several horrible acts by some, NOT ALL priests and various clergy, it's that inner voice, the one that speaks to you, that speaks to me that keeps me a believer. All this stated, to be physically present in this place creates a centered peaceful place to reflect, pray and be grateful to be surrounded by so much beautiful architecture, art and history!

I found the church very beautiful. You can already see it from afar by its size. The huge doors make you want to take pictures. The inside is also worth the visit. Huge chandeliers, and a beautiful pipe organ.
