Caterease is the easiest, most professional software we have used to manage our catering business. We have worked with Caterease since 2000 and would not look anywhere else for software. PRO: Well thought out! Excellent Customer Support. Software is very customizable. Saves tons of time once the program is learned (learning curve to become very comfortable approx 6 wks with daily use), provides excellent range of details for just about any kind of event. Looks like Outlook, acts like it as well - except for the mouse scroll.
CON: I find the mouse scroll outdated and VERY annoying - you have to find the invisible scroll bar on the side (it becomes visible when you find it).
Program has enabled me to double my business without adding extra staff. Has improved my in-house systems.
I m really not sure what the earlier review is referring to. First of all, I use Caterease every day believe me, if it went down for three weeks I WOULD KNOW IT. I have no idea why she got that impression, but I can assure you she is mistaken. But don t take either of our words for it. There are independent companies who track this stuff. I m sure if you call Caterease, there is probably some third-party report they can provide you to show when or if ever they ve been down.
Also, their customer service is great! I have never dealt with so many patient, knowledgeable people. I have talked to a BUNCH of different people on their support team (they must have a LOT!), and each one is as good as the last one. And as soon as I tell them who I am, they have my information in front of them and know all of my history.
I ve worked with a lot of software companies over the years, and I have never experienced the high quality of support I get with Caterease. I almost never have to wait on hold, and I always get the answer I need.
If you are considering catering event management software you need to give strong consideration to Caterease. The Caterease software platform can be entirely customized for your organization and individual needs. The user interface is exceptionally intuitive to navigate and outside of that their customer service people are quick to respond and take the time to guide you either by phone and / or remote computer access.
I would give this company a 0 if it was an option. Terrible customer service. Technicians that do not understand catering.

Caterease software is easy to use. I also appreciate the responsiveness when I have had a question. And the articles, helpful hints and Brittany's blog posts are terrific.
This software is fabulous - you can access your program from anywhere in the world when you have Caterease Connect. The reports/queries are easy to manipulate to find requested data. The engineers listen to our specific needs - requests show up in the next build! The software is VERY simple to use and user friendly. The mobile app is great to check upcoming events on the fly. Our company has used Caterease so long, I don't know how we would function without it.
Great software for booking events and keeping track of the details. Love the accessibility for our whole team, so everyone is on the same page in real time and the mobile app is awesome for checking details when I'm away from the office. Customer service is always helpful and fast and training is easily available.
