Food 6/10 and overpriced for taste. Very knowledgeable and attentive servers. Would skip appetizers and desert.

While the location is spectacular, the food was fair at best. The chef does not know how to blacken fish and the fish was not of the quality it should have been. Be prepared for a parking zoo. Recommend Deckers over Catch.
We held our son s wedding rehearsal dinner at the Catch. The view was spectacular, the wait staff was friendly and attentive and the food was awesome! We particularly valued the management who assisted us in organizing the evening. Totally a wonderful experience, thanks to the Catch team!!!
Great atmosphere, great food
Try the ceviche! Kelvin waited on us and was outstanding. Highly recommended.
Excellent fish entrees and bar with great service! Terrific setting.
My wife and I were on Grand Cayman on Christmas. Not sure what to do for food or how many restaurants were open, we stumbled across this restaurant in our searches and got a reservation for lunch on Christmas.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to see they had the place well decorated with Christmas music playing. The menu was a lavish 5 course Christmas brunch that went well above what we were expecting.
The quality of the food was amazing. There were so many good plates (appetizers, main courses, side dishes, and desserts) that it's hard to focus on everything that was good. We loved a lot of what was brought out. We finished our meal extremely full and satisfied.
The service was also very good. Everyone was so friendly and eager to help and make sure we had a pleasant and wonderful time.
We are already looking forward to coming back next Christmas for another wonderful brunch!
An amazing place to eat fresh fish, and the side dishes were just as good (garbanzo beans and smoked paprika was so good) Morever, the waiter I had was really nice and even surprised me with a birthday desert of Caribbean Trifle. Totally recommend this place.
The food and service was great but it's a bit pricy
What a view! Food is sooooo good! It's overtaken Calypso. The owner is a very nice man.
Their daily specials are always fantastic and fresh. We stop in here every time we're on the island.
Great breezes, peaceful , view...and great food. Lovely friendly staff
The best place we ate on the island. Loved it. We ordered the pork belly & scallop, the local tuna sashimi, the local fish sampler and the seafood pasta. All were awesome and the ambiance was beautiful with great service.
Friendly efficient staff! Great location, good drink selection plus live music every Saturday!
Great location. But in general, about average and not a repeat restaurant for us this trip. Here is why:
- Quick Service, that was good (at least at the start - struggled by the time we were leaving)
- Cocktails good
- Literally 2 sips into the cocktail the dinner arrived. I was still looking at the wine list! Ok - so we skip the wine
- Ordered the the fish curry. Got a piece of tough-ish fish with a bit of curry sauce on top. Not a curry- not even close. I was pretty excited by an island style curry and this was very disappointing for the price and promise
All in all, great location, some aspects good, but did not feel like it 100% delivered.
Most excellent fine food great time with friends always.
Average. The restaurant at the hotel was much better.
Food was excellent nice view and decent price for seafood in Cayman.
Catch at its best. Perfect service in timely manner n good food quantity.
Beautiful venue. Our server was lovely and the wine and food were top notch..
Delicious seafood meal in a peaceful location right on the water on the North Sound. I enjoyed fresh conch ceviche and blackened snapper, Cayman style with breadfruit and a melon and kale salad on the side. We didn't have room for dessert! The service was friendly and knowledgeable. Ask for a table by the water if you are booking ahead.
Wonderful location, delicious seafood and a great wine selection.
Beautiful location overlooking the tour boat dock. Food was well prepared and presented.
Great place! The food was fantastic. Loved the ambiance. Seriously the best restaurant we dined at our entire week in Grand Cayman!
The food is always fresh and fantastically prepared. The wine selection is great, cocktails are crafted with care. The staff is always knowledgeable & attentive. The generous spacing between tables outside allows conversational privacy and creates a relaxed atmosphere. One of my favourite restaurants on the island!
The absolute best grilled octopus ever! And I "know" grilled octopus...
This spot is right on the water, and some of the best food and cocktails I had visiting Cayman Islands. If you re big on seafood you ll love it here.
Great cocktails that are not your ordinary run of the mill mix ups. Indoor and outdoor seating, nice lighting and some good views of the North Sound.
Great location! Super casual. Ate outside with a nice warm breeze. The snapper and shrimp was very good and the trifle for dessert was great! Service was amazing!
Awesome brunch. Food is so good and tasty. Great place facing the ocean.
The first thing I noticed is the amazing service and the frequent check-ins. They can even prepare fresh caught fish that you bring in! The plating is superb and the flavours are fantastic! It's a great location on the ocean and at a marina.
Catch is, in a word, incredible. My fiancee and I had lunch here right after getting engaged and had an amazing time. We enjoyed the Catch sampler, crispy octopus, pork and scallop, and an order of tartare, all of which were truly unforgettable. The wait staff were all incredibly kind and helped us find nearby snorkel locations, and treated us to a fantastic surprise dessert. They helped make our day one for the books, to put it mildly. We cannot recommend Catch enough!
Absolutely Fantastic! The food and atmosphere was unbeatable. I highly recommend a visit.
Sort of overrated and definitely overpriced. Too much fried entrees.
One of the best "by the ocean" location you can find in cayman. We had catch of the day and it was delicious. We also tried the porchetta (good but not like the italians would make ;) ). Large wine selection from all over the world. Prices are up to par and if you also add that you are in cayman you end up with a bill that is...not cheap.
Both of us had the catch which could be either Trigger or Wahoo. She had it blackened and I grilled. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. We ended the meal with a smore bar, chocolate ganache on Short bread with house made marshmallow lightly torch charred and peanut butter ice cream. Amazing. Highly recommend this place
Great food, excellent coffee and outstanding customer service! Loved the atmosphere.
Attentive service, stunning food. We had conch ceviche, fish tacos and tuna nicoise. All spectacular.
Amazing place, great food, Joelle,Jen and the rest of the servers are top notch, great knowledge about the food, allergies and which wines would be best for your meal and in your budget.
Catch was on our short list of restaurants to try while in Grand Cayman and decided on it for our last night on vacation. We were able to get a reservation and were glad we went a bit on the early side as the restaurant really filled up over the next hour or so! It seemed like the majority of their seating is outside and has a nice wind-screened deck with nice views. While all of us enjoyed our meals we agreed that the fish dishes were very good but maybe had too much of sauces that accompanied them and overpowered the taste of the fresh catches. Overall an enjoyable experience.
One of the two best seafood restaurants on the island. Superb!
Pricey but very good. Enjoyed the octopus and grill snapper. Great ambiance, sitting outside was delightful.
Good food and service. Prices are up there but not unlike other spots on the island.
This is absolutely my favorite place to eat on the island. Every time I've been here the food had been fantastic and the service phenomenal.
We got there a few minutes before 3pm so only appetizers and salads were being served. I got the house salad with the chicken and the chicken was sooooo salty that I couldn't eat more than a few bites (didn't want to waste my money since it wasn't cheap but wasn't worth it). I ordered the lemonade and it wasn't sweet. It was more sour than sweet. My husband ordered the conch and he was given fried fish. My mother cooked conch for xmas dinner every year so we're very familiar with conch.
Food was very good. But we waited over and hour for it :/
Catch is an amazing restaurant. The service is seamless, the food is exquisite and the wine selection is everything you would want. The octopus is a must try! They also have a gin and rosemary cocktail that is refreshing.
Wonderful dinner experience under the stars. Catch has a simple but elegant menu and a very. I've wine list.
Tables right by the water, after dark, make it worth it. Parking situations a bit of a mess but I guess that's what happens on an island with limited space and all...
Great ambiance, mediocre food. We were seated in an uncomfortable area near the server's station and the servers had zero regard of our comfort. We ordered Cayman style red snapper & shrimp and a filet mignon. While the fish perfectly cooked, it was basically soaked in ketchup and the filet was fatty and stringy, and not cooked to par. Drinks were very unique and tasty. Overall, not worth the money.
Food was very tasty.
Service was exceptional.
Recommended!
If there were ten stars... I would rate it as such. My wife and I went here tonight, August 2015. From the warm reception at the open air lobby, to the apps, service, main course and ambiance we can honestly and definitively say this was the absolute best meal and dinner experience of our lives.
The spacious deck overlooking the water was both comfortable and beautiful. To add to the evening it was a full moon rising over the Caribbean, with the lightning dancing behind the clouds in the distance.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and one of the owners, Walter, was very accommodating!
Worth every hundred dollar bill. We would go again, and may tomorrow, in fact.
We had tuna sashimi and an aged beef carppacio for starters, then blackened blackfin Tuna, and an incredible grouper for the main course. Dessert was wonderful with a double cappuccino to finish things off! Loved it here....can't you tell?
This restaurant deserves a high rating. I'm a bit sad that I could not come back as this was far from where my hotel was but everything just tasted amazing. Had the tasting ceviche plate and octopus dish and it was just WOW. This is a must and don't forget to use your discount voucher or show your "Explore Cayman" app to get 10% off
All was perfect and we'll managed. Just price a bit over the standard. But the view might compensate .
Went here for my wife's birthday. Prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for! Waterfront dining atmosphere was great (has a modern, European lounge vibe to it) and the food was incredible! Couldn't have found a better spot to celebrate a birthday! To top it off, Massimo was one of the best waiters I've had in years! Highly recommend!!!
Unbelievably good spot for breakfast and lunch. Fresh, fresh, fresh.. Everything tastes so vibrant and well prepared.
It was good but not great, for the price at least. The best thing we ordered was the sampler of sashimi and tartare. I regret ordering a seafood noodle dish which cost about 32. It had a decent amount of seafood but was just so bland. Staff was also good.
Best recommended restaurant in the island. The food was amazing.100% you will be taking care of by the friendly staff. Its a good place to celebrate your birthday or any special accassions with friends and family.
Views. Wine. Fish. Everything you want. Or at least everything I need to be happy. Wine is much better then the cocktails. And the food you can't help but enjoy with those views.
Food was good, water was ugly to look at while eating.
Amazing fish restaurant. The view is incredible. Everything served was so fresh and perfectly prepared. A must visit on the island.
The restaurant is on the dock, the debris from the sea floats on the outside but otherwise the atmosphere is nice.
The Catch was the best restraunt experience while my wife and I vacationed in Grand Cayman. Food was great but our waitress was exceptional, her name is Amy, she served us with perfection. Only drawback was a waiter who was short with dark hair and a beard annoyed all tables around us and thought he was God's gift to the restraunt industry and yet no one else had that same opinion!! If you go there ask for Amy and you will have a wonderful time.
Excellent in every way. Bar, service, food, atmosphere.
Try the crispy octopus. Waterfront dining - see fishing boats bring fresh catch
