I drove 2 hours to pay registration ticket & the front door says closed Friday ... Update your Maps because that s unprofessional as hell

So my daughter goes to daycare in canyon lake, my dad took my car to work, because I have to get his serviced, I forgot to grab my driver license out of my car, so I had to take my expired driver license, poa would not let me though the gate because my license is expired, even though they have let me through many times with the expired I'd. They know I have a current driver license, they have seen it multiple times, they didnt care, they even knew I had a 2 year old with me they could care less. I had to walk all the way from east port where I parked my car, all the way past Mayflower on canyon lake drive. So ridiculous, oh and I asked if I could park my car at east port, they sIid your car will be towed if its left over night, I said all I want to do os take my daughter to day care, snd I will come right back. I park it at east port. Pos immediately runs into east port, and they put a tow away sign on my car. I can't believe poa would make me walk that far with a 2 year old in this heat. They know I have a current driver license. Shame on you poa.

They are getting better. It is a bureaucracy so don't expect much done quickly and you will be just fine. It used to be worse. Much worse. They are improving but still have a ways to go.

The staff here is helpful but the people running the POA are ridiculous. Tons of pointless rules that even the POA staff will agree makes no sense to them. Although the people in the office are nice the people running it leave you wondering why the police (located next door) haven't arrested the people in charge for the murder of common sense and fairness.

Night mare...Took me 2 days to get our stickers.Girl, did not know what she was doing, maybe, she was new? I try to stay away from there...

I love living here and the staff at the office hear has always been helpful !!!!! The key is if you treat people kindly and have patience most likely things always go smoother !!!! But FYI if you are with the office and reading this some security guards do get lazy and flag anyone through without checking !!!! But other than that I love everything about the lake and the staff .

I lived here for 25 years and have no plans of leaving. Having a lake, golf course, camp ground, lodge with pool & tennis courts along with many parks is something that s hard to find outside the gate. Don t forget you can drive a golf cart all over the place and across the street to the town center & shop. Beautiful place to live.

Extremely rude old man at the gate. You should fire that low life security guard. Who does he think he is? He spoke incredibly disrespectfully to me for no reason at all.

Be prepared to pay a hefty fine for any guests or delivery drivers you issue a pass to and get a speeding ticket. $500 surprise for me in the mail and this isn t the first time this has happened. Unfortunately I can t always drive to meet these drivers outside of the gates. Since we can t afford these surprise fines after the financial burden from over five years of my son fighting cancer twice, we are selling and moving out of canyon lake. What we thought was paradise and our forever home turned out to be a poa nightmare and financially draining.

I am a Grub hub driver, and I have been delivering food to Canyon Lake many times and yes even make numerous food delivery to the security office. On 8/1/2020 at 6:37 pm the security gate person name Patrick Potts was extremely difficult; he did not let me through and refused to look at my Grub Hub delivery order and refuse to call and contact the resident and say that it is my job to call. NO!!! it is his JOB. He made me turn around twice and finally let me through at 7:13 pm ( 35 minutes !). Oh, he let another Domino delivery guy through without a fuss. Not only that, he entered something which in my opinion racially offensive in nature on the guest card. Seriously !? You guys need to fire this guy.

Everyone there was so welcoming and helpful. We are new homeowners in the association and couldn't be more pleased.

They did a great job transferring property information, as I purchased a new home in the Lake.

Boat registration was incorrect. My worst experience I ever had with the marine patrol in 30 years living in Canyon lake. Marine patrol man named Lyon.
