Such a nice place to go to study and enjoy some of the best coffee around

Wow, that cup of decaf was actually good. Not many places have a good cup of decaf coffee. A delicious roast level, kept at a great temperature.

I am absolutely obsessed with this place. I call in my coffee when I'm leaving my house and it is always waiting on me when I get there. If I am really splurging here is my order (And trust me I've had almost everything)

Grilled chicken chipotle wrap add kettle chips
Brownie cheesecake to share with whoever is with me
24 oz ice latte with 4 splenda and soy milk

Great coffee but the young girl with long brown hair at the register made me feel like I was a burden to her to ask for a cup of coffee. No eye contact. No smile. Just really rude. Maybe she was having a bad morning.

Warm & friendly environment with delicious latte's and sandwiches

Went here on a the way back home for my morning Joe as I forgot to make a cup, and i swear its comparable to Dutch bros, the coffee its deliciously sweet and brewed with love in every drop. If you are a fan of Dutch bros or just great coffee consider traveling just a bit farther and stopping here, it's well worth it.

The coffee is wonderful and the atmosphere is quaint. My husband and I enjoy coming down on Saturday mornings and spending a few hours having coffee and exploring some of the shops downtown.

Cozy coffee shop with great coffee. I got an espresso, pour over, and breakfast croissant and they were delicious. I also saw how they donate their profits to local groups benefiting there community, which is appreciated as well. Great job Catalyst!

The place is clean and has a calm atmosphere. The employees were very nice and patient. I absolutely loved the cappuccino, latte, and sausage egg and cheese bagel that i got. The prices were good. I definitely hope to be back soon!

Am from out of town visiting for the day and found Catalyst with good reviews on Google. Said they were open til 8pm actually closed at 4. Came at 4:30.

not a bad little coffee shop. inside seating is a bit tight. and they only let you use one entrance which is odd as they have a double door.

also would not recommend trying to go here with a stroller as its so hard to fit and maneuver

Best quality coffee you'll find in town. Order a chemex for the best cup of coffee! Great mission and great coffee. You simply cannot find fresher coffee.

A really great place to study after school with a latte and hear local talent on some evenings.

Catalyst is a great place to go in Greeneville to get a good cup of coffee. The staff are very friendly and they even have some decent food. I would recommend the ham, egg, and cheese croisant. The only downside to the place is that it can fill up fast and there may be a shortage of space. Check it out!

We are so happy to have this place here. Excellent coffee drinks. Haven't had much of the food but what I have had is great. They roast their own beans which is no small thing, and having had roasts from all over, I can say that they do know what they are doing! Also, profits are going back to benefit the community. How can you go wrong supporting a place like this?!

Decent vibe, but bust out some vacuums and dusting tools. Thick coating of dirt,dander,dust on fans and ceilings fixtures

We were told we should try this place, so this particular morning we stopped in for breakfast after dropping our son off at Greeneville High for a band concert. Terribly disappointed. The croissants were old and crusty with lunch meat ham and egg beaters. The guy who took our order didn t smile, and looked preoccupied with his phone, and the lady who brought our order out was his perfect complement of unenthusiastic, if not downright unfriendly, service. We won t be back.

When I went, it was really good, I ended up getting one of their wraps, and it was pretty good. And of course their coffee was also good.

The staff there are very polite and respectful.. they always make sure you get exactly what you ordered.

Sam provided excellent service. And as a barista, he created an incredible drink! Catalyst is an incredible coffee shop with awesome food and drinks! Easily the best coffee place in Greeneville!

Catalyst Cafe is fantastic! They have the best latte that I have ever had, hands down. Breakfast croissants are delicious. I have visited the cafe a number of times over several years, and the service, food, ambiance, and drinks have been consistently excellent. Love that Catalyst gives back to the community!

Very clean and cozy coffee shop. The staff is friendly...not bubbly, but friendly. I love the decor ! My wife got the Peppermint Latte and loved it. I got an espresso. It was good, not the best I ve had but good. The ham, egg, and Swiss croissant was egg-celent!! If you haven t visited, I would definitely stop by.

One of my favorite stops in Greeneville a Christian business a very clean environment and very quiet. Very good coffee and good chicken salad.

I really like their coffee and their atmosphere. They are a great addition to Downtown Greeneville! Folks: Stay away from the 400 lb. gorilla based in Seattle & frequent independent places like this. Good stuff.

The Mango Smoothie is amazing! They also have great desserts and I love their Roast Beef on Ciabotta sandwich!

I love working here in the afternoon. The environment is very relaxing. The staff is super-courteous and the manager is there often. It's a great place to have a conversation and coffee (or meal).

Two of us visited the Catalyst during our stay at the General Morgan Inn and we went down around 7:20 Saturday morning, which they opened at 7 am. We weren't greeted and I had to say good morning to the barista first. This was our first visit so we spent a minute looking at the menu and she didn't speak to us at all - just stood there at the register waiting on us to order. I ordered an egg and cheese croissant - not on the menu but I don't eat ham - but I received a ham and Swiss cheese croissant. I didn't want to have to speak to her again so I just took the ham off. She didn't say anything to us when she handed us the food or as we were walking out and there was only one other customer there. Either she was having a bad morning or they're just not very friendly there. My bf went down later for two pizzas ($6 each) to bring back up and they tasted like the Totino pizzas you get in the freezer section that are like $1 - $2. I liked the atmosphere and thought it was well placed in the downtown area.

The vibe of this place is very chill and the locals seem to really enjoy it. I had a iced coffee that was very good, will be back to try more things!

If you find yourself in Downtown Greenville and you want a cup of coffee you either go to Catalyst or you don't want a cup of coffee. The coffee was delicious but the customer service absolute perfection. The Barista / cashier embodied the sophisticated, cultured coffee shop vibe while still being down-to-earth and friendly

I like the space here, coffee is great, good service and it's right next to the art gallery.

Every year when we are in town we visit Catalyst. This visit was a major disappointment and walked out. One of their requirements when you the buyer want to spend your money on them, they want to check your temperature. I want normality when vacationing. I was able to find another coffee place right behind with normality called The Coffee Barrel.

A community oriented cafe that offers rooms for meetings of community groups, and serves light lunches and snacks.

Whenever I m in town especially Pre Covid I always stopped in. It s less frequent now but I m sure I will get back to it. The new renovations are awesome and the food and coffee is great. I m I need to work out of the house for a few hours it s my go to place. I also always see people I know from town which makes it a great place as well.

I just watched a woman half naked in a bathing suit walk in in front of my children right on main Street this is disgusting even worse she walked out with a drink any self respecting business other than a gas station or swimming pool would allow this instead of denying her service nasty attention whor* needs to put some clothes on smh

Great little coffee shop in downtown Greeneville. The service is quick and the blueberry scones are a must!!! It has lots of different kind of seating arrangements. I loved my window seat to people watch on the street.

Came to visit my Love for the summer fell in Love with this perfect little coffee place! Great coffee, great people, and great Christian music playing all day long!!

Apples and berries are sparkly but inedible. Chairs kinda stupid looking, but comfortable and easy to spin. Prices reasonable. There are several people talking loudly about hair cuts; unclear if their stylist recommendations are on point, but their hair seems fine, I guess. This reviewer has no strong opinions on the matter, honestly. They do have a restroom. Brownie cheesecake thing apparently delicious. I'm told they also have coffee.
