I have boarded my cat at California Cat Center for several years now. Always, he got excellent care and I was very satisfied. However, recently, I had to board my cat for the longest time ever, that is, 2 months. All care was excellent until about a week before my return, my cat was infected with ear mites. He is 17 1/2 years and, in ALL those years, he has never had any infections (he is an indoor cat). The Center so much as admitted that my cat might have been infected because another cat with ear mites was groomed and somehow the mites were passed to my cat. It has taken several treatments to get rid of the mites. Possibly due to the stress of receiving those treatments, my cat also got ringworm (again, for the first time in 17 1/2 years!). Several weeks of treatment which included 2 sulphur baths thus causing more stress to my cat. When you board your cat at this hotel, make sure you ask them if any other cats have infections that can be transmitted. Someone there got careless!

They did such a good job washing and grooming my one cat that my other cat got mad at him because he thought it was a brand new cat.

My go to place to have my cat groomed. Good service and reasonable priced. The care theses people show only comes from a passion for the service they provide.

Our cats have had the best experience at California Cat Center. The cats are treated to loving and caring staff. They brought out my rescue cat's personality. He was timid and easily scared, but now he is so friendly and happy. The cats are entertained with birds, TV, cat walkways, and lots of attention. You must see this place if you need to board your special pet (Cat's only - no barking).

The California Cat Center in Van Nuys, CA has been a huge help to me when I travel and need to have my cat taken care of. It is like a vacation retreat for my sweet kitty. I never worry about him when he is there. California Cat Center is owned by a vet, and run by the most caring individuals I've ever met. The staff makes every attempt to meet the needs of their furry guests, including meal requests, feeding a cat it's own food, medications, etc, without extra fees. Grooming options are available for basic fees. My cat has been there at least six times, and he LOVES it. There are basic rules, such as being up to date with vaccines, and cats are not allowed to interact with each other unless they are part of the same family. The cats stay in condos, and a cat can roam in an area, as long as there are no other cats out in the same area. There are rolling cages of finches, water fountains, iPods playing nature sounds, many plush areas to rest on, and an outdoor enclosure.

I highly recommend the California Cat Center, and you can call ahead to tour the facility before bringing your kitty there to stay.

This is THE place to board your beloved kitties. My kitties get star treatment and i would trust no other place. This place is kept spotless and the wonderful staff have made accommodations for me in a pinch. They also offer nail trimming , bathing, and vaccinations (vet owned).

My cat is a rescue cat. Prior to me adopting her, she had been given up 4 times. I have always used an at home pet sitting service because of this. I had to go out of town for three day weekend at the last minute. My sitter was booked, so I tried California Cat Center. I was nervous about boarding her because I did not want my cat to feel like she was being given up again. Well, if I could give this place 10 stars , I would. My cat was so well taken care of. The place is spotless. Super clean and odor free. The staff is kind and friendly. The kennels are roomy, clean and well furnished. My cat was relaxed and happy when I picked her up. I will definitely be returning next time I have a trip. Thank you again to the staff. You guys are awesome.

I've taken my cat here 3 times now to get a haircut, nail trim and bath. Everyone is super nice and they really CARE about all the pets. Anna is completely wonderful and amazing - I swear she's the cat whisperer, and she makes sure I'm happy every time with her work. I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else!

Monica did an excellent job of grooming my Ragdoll cat. She gave her a beautiful Lion cut, nail trim, and bath. My Gracie looks and smells awesome and is so proud of her new haircut. We will be coming back for sure!

I love this place! I've taken my boy Whingy in for his annual lion cut two years in a row now, and will continue to do so (maybe more often); he's in such a good mood after his spa day. The staff is kind, caring, and know what they're doing. I would highly recommend them for their grooming services! I have yet to try boarding, but would likely recommend that too. ^_^

Cats only, amazing friendly staff and Monica the manager ensures the best for me and my cats. They really care and treat yuot like family. Love it here.

WOW, we are sooooooo impressed with CCC. They went above and beyond for our fussy cat. It was our cats first professional grooming and she wasn't having it. Kaija (or Kaiya) was sooooooo wonderful and patient with her. It took us 2 visits because she didn't want to stress her out but it was worth it. Our cat no longer looks homeless.

They gave us a tour of the facilities and the place is spotless! You would never know that there are animals in the building. There were plenty of cat condos available for rent.

This is going to be our goto groomers from now on.

California Cat Center is awesome! My two cats (Ragdolls) have stayed there for over a week and get groomed there regularly. Everyone is so nice and they treat my babies like they were their own.

Excellent cat grooming center. The groomers can handle even the most nervous cat with care and expertise. Reasonable prices too.

I had to board my cat for a few days while work was being done on my house. The room my cat was in was nice and big with bird cages that he could watch (he was in a tall cage in this big room). I ended up having to keep him there longer than originally planned and they were very accommodating.

I have only used nail trimming and grooming services. They are very patient and kind with my cat (he's not a fan!) but they manage to keep him calm and do a great job. I would highly recommend.

Great experience. Monica, the groomer, did an amazing job. I took my cream & white persian in for a bath and lion cut. She originally estimated two hours of work. It took three hours. She called me at hour two, to update me. She did a great job grooming my cat--she really took her time and did not rush. Even with my cat's thick and difficult coat, she did not nick his skin. I would not hesitate to bring my cat here again. The building exterior is very unassuming and the location is in an office park of sorts, but don't be fooled--it's very good.

Facility and location of the spot isn't so hot, very desert like and looked as it belong to someones house..but seeing our Persian Cat come out with the exact look we wanted...we were happy !

So amazing, this place in honestly the best of the best. It can be pricier than others, but the care that the employees have and love theu put in shows how worth it it is
