These stylists are intelligent and smart when it comes to knowing what to do in every client . They work with all types of hair and they make sure the customers are 100% satisfied with their service!

Loved this place, i tried it through Groupon and am definitely coming back! Dri is really good and he knows his business pretty well. Staff is really friendly. Booking is not difficult at all, very good experience and reasonable pricing.

I move around a lot as part of my job and finding a good hair dresser is always a concern. However, after my first visit with Jessica Diaz, I knew I had luck on my side. She is professional, funny and extremely talented. My hair is left looking shiny and healthy after every appointment.

Dri has been doing my hair for YEARS! I found this amazing salon when I lived in the area...and even though I moved over 50mi away I still make the trek. I ve had keratin treatments, color, a million bang trims and hair cuts...highly recommend!

I give 1 star:

- I asked for an Ombre --- Got orange highlights from the roots instead. What?!
- Ombre definition was written on the Groupon they advertised --
- Spent 5 HOURS fixing the unwanted highlights and applying an ATROCIOUS YELLOW ombre.
- Dri worked on 3 people at once which is what made it take even longer.
- Had the nerve to ask for payment as the "ART DIRECTOR" price (+$100 extra) for the work- at checkout .. before I left for the day ( at 10pm!!!)
NO WAY!!!!!

I am angry I paid him even a dime.

Dri, the owner and art director, has no experience with color, doesn't know how to properly use toners or how to effectively select colors based on the natural tones of your hair. DO NOT TRUST HIM WITH YOUR COLOR. He also can't blow dry and Fries your hair - you can smell it burning.

If you want you hair done to perfection, then this is the place to go. They take great care for your hair better than I've ever seen. By far the best hair salon in the area.

Good food, I really like the sandwiches. Staff is helpful and friendly. Overall quite a nice store.

Dritan was a perfect find for me, great guy and a very knowledgeable and professional hair stylist. Knew exactly what I needed. Will definitely go again.

Dri gives a very precise haircut. Love coming here because the cut grows out beautifully.

Had an appt today for a haircut and highlight at 12pm. I was called 30 minutes before my appt and was told that the stylist was sick and that I needed to reschedule. Very disappointing! I had already drove to Palo Alto and had to drive 30 minutes home. It would have been nice to get the cancellation earlier in the day so that I could find another salon. Plans for tonight and I need a haircut!

I went there last month to get partial highlights. He recommended partial balayage, so I went for it. I can barely see any color on my hair, slightly disappointed as I paid $150 for pretty much nothing. Dre is a great conversationalist, he recommends good stuff for your hair routine. I wanna give one more try and decide if I should go here again or not.

I have been going to Casual Chic Salon for a few months and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place! The staff is friendly and professional, the decor is adorably zen/modern, the prices are excellent and Dri, the owner, is a fantastic stylist and human being! I would highly recommend this salon for all your beauty needs!!

Good hair salon! Extremely clean and stylishly decorated room and of course professional hairdressers. The haircut in this salon will cost more than in the hairdressing salons in which Asian hairdressers are sheared, but the quality of services here is much higher. By the way, among the hairdressers there are Russian-speaking masters.

By far my favorite salon! Great staff, always on time and very professional.

I've been going to Casual Chic for almost a year now. Very happy with the men's haircut. Dri is accurate, fast and very pleasant. Positive vibe and well worth the extra penny vs. your average $15 barber (which I used to go to before)

I recently had my hair cut, colored and styled. I had attempted to dye my own hair and had not been able to properly take care of it. I was able to easily schedule an appointment. The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and functional. Appropriate safety measures were maintained at all times. I was embarrassed about the state of my hair and felt welcomed and comfortable the minute I stepped into the salon. Dritan was empathetic and patient throughout the entire process. In addition to being extremely talented, he is highly attentive to detail. Dritan made me feel beautiful again. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Love this salon! Dri is very professional, attentive to details and my hair looks perfect for a long time after the haircut.

Great styling & conversation but they failed to confirm that I was okay with the "Art Director" aka the owner so I went in expecting a price range of $50-70 and received an invoice of $100+. Half my fault for not paying close enough attention and half theirs for not confirming I'm comfortable with that level of styling and price range.

Great service! Very skilled stylists and friendly as well. I can recommend Casual Chic highly!!

2nd try - He brings out the color samples - tells me to pick the one I want my hair to be changed to from Yellow. I pick a brown, much darker because I don't trust him anymore. I just want this fixed.

He says "Ok. this will be the color that comes out on all your head. You picked it."
and begins soaking my hair with it an inch from the root. URGH! You are ruining my now 4 times processed hair that was never even suppose to be TOUCHED by color!

Hair turns out RED.
Ombre is completely gone. I'm very upset. He rushes me to the sink to apply something to remove the color. Its doesn't work.

I leave.

I have been going to Casual Chic since the second haircut I had since I moved to the Bay Area. I had a great experience with Jessica, and have been going back to her every time for the past...18 months? I have recommended this place for all my friends who've been looking for a new stylist. 10/10 recommend.

Dri is ahhhhhmazing! My hair had a million different colors with a very brassy shaft yet he somehow figured out how to take that mess and turn it into a beautiful masterpiece! First time getting my hair done in California and I ve gone to the same stylist for 10 years now, Dri s work has no comparison to any other stylist I ve seen!

I needed a hair stylist in the area, and went here after I thought the reviews were good. However I am very upset. I went asking for a partial bayalage and trim. The bayalage turned out well. However I went asking for 2-3 inches off my hair and was mortified when he took off 7! I started crying during my appointment because of what happened and he seemed very unapologetic and just said that it happened because he started in the back?
Also when he was supposed to trim my hair he started by using some electric thing that made me very uneasy instead of scissors which I think took off a lot more. He should of started with taking two inches off then evened it out to 3. I loved my long hair and being a new mom this year it felt like it was a part of me I could control and loved. Now it will take over a year to grow my hair back to a length that I like .... And extensions aren't cheap either. At the end he said he would take care of me and took off the toner and gave a discount. However I was upset I had to pay for the haircut which ruined the hair I loved. I walked out paying 220 and balling. It was the worst hair experience I've ever had. On top.of that it took 3 hours. I get color takes time so he took another client, however I had to wait for the other person to get their hair shampooed and styled while my hair was ready to be styled. Which I wasn't a fan of either. I felt if he can't do the other clients full hair while the color sits don't take him on or finish my hair first.

Having recently moved from socal and going to the same stylist for 34 years I was desperate to find someone who used Goldwell color. A friend found Casual Chic and I am more than happy. I left a request for an appointment and they called back within the hour and scheduled for the following week. They had the exact colors I needed and I proceeded to get a very professional color, cut, and blow dry from Jessica. And the cost was reasonable and fair. The salon is tucked away in Palo Alto and is very clean and pleasant when you enter. Jessica was polite, kind, and professional. I have already made a return appointment for next month. Also, there were two girls who had died each other's hair black and they were getting corrective color. What an improvement; they looked amazing when they left!

Went in for a partial balyage. I had gotten my hair balyaged for the first time 4 months prior. It was a little brassy before I got it and definitely had grown out and was not blended at all. I am used to also getting toner in my hair because of the red undertones and had mentioned this to Dri when setting up the appointment. He assured me that he could fix it without using the extra toner, but it would not be a problem to do the toner later if i thought I needed it.
Day of my appointment, got there and everyone was really nice. Dri was finishing up with a client, but acknowledged me and let me know he would be right with me. I put on a color robe and got a water. He then went over what we were talking about, micxed color, came back and started coloring.
After the blow out, I was amazed! The color was really well blended and not brassy at all! Looked natural. I will post a picture soon, but it looks great and I will definitely be going back.
I had also made an appointment to get my roots done (for a little deeper chestnut than my natural color) the next day and he was able to accommodate me. After I went into work the next day and had some time with my color though, I called and canceled--decided nothing else was needed. Dri did a great job, will definitely be going back!! Thanks!

Love this place. I have been going since I moved to the Bay Area about 5 years ago and always see Dri. He's wonderful at coloring and cuts. I can't wait until they reopen!!

Great hair stylist, gave me great advice when I'm uncertain about my hair style

Well, after booking the appointmentthe day earlier, the hairdresses never showed up! Other personel in the saloon didn't bother to help us while waiting half of hour or find us some other solution. Completely bad experience.

I absolutely love this salon. Jessica does an amazing job, shes really reasonably priced and I always feel like a million bucks after.

I've never had a steady stylist, but Jessica I will come back to time and time again.

The salon itself is relatively simple, if you don't care about over the top luxury, but want a good cut and color, come to Casual Chic
