Zero stars. I received a gift card from Starbucks through CashStar. CashStar is a scam. CashStar kept saying it was a starbucks issue and sending me on a wild goose cash. However, Starbucks tried to be helpful. It was the CashStar website that kept failing. Total SCAM!!

I tried to order a gift card. My request was 'declined'. The Cashstar people would not help me, both via their email link and their posted 800#. Their lack of help was unbelievable. Dealing with them was an exercise in futility.
Horrible company! Horrible service! Ordered a gift card for my wife weeks before Christmas and was guaranteed delivery. Never received gift card. Waited on hold forever...left countless voicemails and emails - no response. Shame on you Cash Star.
This place is a scam I paid for a home depo card have not received anything. Why would they do people like this during the holidays? Its ok I have a powerful attorney in my family that is ready to tap in at anytime. I will be reaching out to BBB today and filing a civil suite for false advertisement. I have enough information on them to do so. You guys have poor reviews on several sites with the same issues. If I don't receive my card or my refund they will be paying me triple either way I am okay. I will be sharing their site exposing the the truth .
I did not appreciate feeling misled thinking I was purchasing from bestbuy.com. and after purchase I read reviews of others saying they never recieved their giftcard. But alittle over an hour my e-gift did arrive. So despite the majority of negative reviews, I have to give credit when it's due. Cashstar delivered as promised $150.00 best buy. Just wanted to try to give some clarification, in my experience, they delivered.
Horrible company. Charged my card twice and tried to blame it on my bank. Took 3 hours to reach someone to speak to on top of it. Stay away from Egift cards that through this company. Buy direct from store if possible.
Stay away from gift cards through Cashstar as well as Chico's. Bought my wife a $500 gift card for Chico's through Cashstar (only option if bought online). My wife went to use it for the first time and the balance was $3.83. We called both Chico's and Cashstar. They said an online order was placed and shipped to an address that was not ours. They have the name, phone number, and email of the person who fraudulently placed an order against our gift card. We asked to speak with their lost prevention people and were refused. Neither company will give us the fraudulent order information nor refund our money. They suggested we call the police, but also told us that they would not give the order information to the police either. Wished I had read reviews of Chico's and Cashstar before I purchased the gift card. They are both worthless.
Will never use Cashstar again nor will my wife ever shop at Chico's again. They could not care less about their customers.
We have contacted the police and they have assigned a detective. They were somewhat surprised that we were told they would not turn over information to the police. The detective said they had ways of getting it if necessary.
Ok, so I had wanted to order an Ikea gift card for a Christmas gift. After looking everywhere, I checked my options online and was directed to the third party, Cash Star. I didn't think twice about ordering, thinking that I would certainly have it by Christmas. I placed the order on Dec. 12, 2017 and was told via email that I would hear in 1-3 business days about status/shipping. 1 week went by and nothing. Monday, Dec. 18, I made a call and got a customer service rep. She told me that the gift card had not been shipped. Needless to say, I was not happy. I had to think what my options were then, so I told her that I would call back. 3 calls of leaving voicemails and waiting for a return call (which never happened). 3 emails to customer support and no return email. By now I have had it. Today, Dec. 20, I called again and got someone. I was told again that the gift card had not been processed nor shipped......8 days after the order. I demanded that they cancel the order and refund my money, but I was told that they don't handle refunds. After a screaming match with the representative, I was put on hold for a few minutes. I was then told that the refund was approved and I would receive my credit on my card. What a waste of time with a horrible company. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. ....HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO FOLLOW-UPS ON ORDERS. I am thoroughly disgusted and do not recommend buying from CashStar.
