We visited the Casela Leisure Park for a half day trip with our two small children and had lunch in the restaurant. The attractions are fun for kids: the wild cats, the giraffes, the giant turtles, the monkeys, and the giant bats. The kids loved it, and it is still interesting for the parents.

The food in the restaurant was quite good, and the play ground at the entrance is very well done. Let your children play there and just chill out after the visit.

Nice place to visit birds, big cat, Ostriches, giraffe and other animals. There is a big playing area for kids. We took the buffet and it was excellent. The safari is also nice but the bus is quite jerky. Go there early as it closes early. There is a nice view over the restaurant.

If you are going here, you should definitely not jump on a safari with ATV. The most enjoyable activity in the park. You can also try to interact with the lions. It was an interesting experience to be in the same cage with 6-7 lions.

Poor services.price is costly.during safari the forest/wood was died, not that beautiful like green forest.Foods in Resto was expensive for local people. We have to queue up for long time waiting for truck-bus to come, thus there are little number of truck for safari.Toilets smell cigarettes!!! Other activities' price isn't value for money!!!!MUST IMPROVE service for adventurers satisfaction.

Casela is a major reason we came to Mauritius. We hand fed rhinos, walked with lions, and pet cheetahs. It was so much fun, and you can't to it anywhere else in the world. Honestly, I doubt you'll be able to do this here much longer, so take advantage. Also, I felt completely safe during all of these encounters because of the highly trained staff who have a genuine love for their animals.

The Casela was good for who has not seen any other Zoo in the world. The animal are far from each other, the map is not quite understandable. Also, you keep take buses (free of charge) to move from place to another. The staff was not around, and they answer with minimum information.
You need to pay for every activity there, some of them is quite silly comparing to what you pay!
The Casela closes at 17:30 but the cinema 4D closes at 16:30!!
You need a full day to go around because the animals are far from each other.
If you went to Malaysia zoo or london zoo do not go for this zoo.
The only good thing is the huge turtles, but be careful of red ants, they bits your feet!

It's a majestic place, and an out of this world experience. However, casela should not mislead its visitors into buying vouchers for rides which are closed. I bought enough vouchers to allow my family and I to enjoy some of the attractions but most of the ones we wanted to try were closed without anyone telling us at the entrance and no sign to inform us anywhere before we bought the vouchers. So for me itwas almost 1000rs of vouchers gone to waste.
In all, it was a great experience but just a word of advice to anyone who wants to visit to check whether the attractions you're interested im are open or not.

Beautiful natural theme park. You will find large bird aviaries (about 1500 birds), you will get into the enclosure with elephant turtles, you will see lions, giraffes, monkeys, children enjoy the farm, playground, water slides, slides, swings cruise with commentary and photographing. Other experiences can be paid for, such as interaction with chicks, walking with lions, horseback riding, ponies or camels, various adventure trips, a ride on a safari on a Segway or quad bike and many others.

Very cool, worth your money! the entrance ticket includes 2 attractions (to go on a cart and jump on the rubber circle, both liked it), a small safari on the bus (buses run often, conveniently). With many animals you can talk, pat. Giraffe can even be stroked! Toilets are clean, throughout the park, apparatuses with a disinfectant composition. Works from 9 to 17. The hippopotamus is fed from 4 to 5, at other times, if it's hot, then it can hide in its swamp and you will not see it. There is a rhinoceros, various kinds of gazelles, zebras, ostriches, many birds, rabbits, fish. Highly recommend!

Despite being told to be punctual for the zipline, they were 50 minutes behind schedule. Roller coaster, which the children were so looking forward to, was broken all day. No discount offered. The lions appear sedated, not ok. The ostrich is in desperate need of a companion. Caracals are in a small cage with fake grass. Not animal friendly.

Incredible plant and architectural atmosphere. We feel very well that the animals live in great serenity, especially when it comes to walking alongside the lions.
Unforgettable experience !!

We went to Casela on the 26th May 2016, it exceeded our expectations and the experience was amazing. We spent a full day from 9am until closing time, booked in for an action packed day and one we will not forget. We booked in for the segway, quad biking, interaction with tigers, interaction with lions, zip line experience and managed to fit in some time for the giraffe feeding as well. I would highly recommend the segway as it is a great opportunity to get close to the animals and get a real feel for a safari experience. The lions and tigers interaction was fantastic and a once in a lifetime experience. The quad biking is a good way to take in the mountainous views. The zip line experience was surreal- 5 zip lines through the mountains, with waterfalls underneath you and beautiful scenery. The staff at Casela are wonderful, really helpful and they want to make sure you have the best experience, the park overall is run fantastically and I would love to go back in the future! I will certainly be recommending it to my family and friends!

Loved the big cats and feeding the giraffes! Peacocks were cool too.

A bit of walking, so more benches along the pathway would be helpful for the elderly and young kids. Shelter is also limited in some parts. More signage also needed so we know what we're looking at.

Very nice animal park, you can feed giraffes, rhinos, turtles there for a fee. Walk with the lions, quad safari among the animals. There is also a way to do some sensational activities like zip lines or others, but the organization is sometimes lacking.

Mauritius also comes at the beginning of places to visit. Even two days should be separated.very pleasant place.Good idea to go early in the morning. After some time the damp weather increases fatigue.minj safari may not come very interesting for those who did the safari before. It is very pleasing to feed the animals.

Terribly planned place . Rude staff and little or no signage. We missed the Safari bus thanks to mumbled instructions from the park attendants. The only redeeming aspect of this place is the Canyon Swing and Yeswin the photographer. He was very helpful and an amazing photographer.

My favourite leasure park in Mauritius. Everything is great, every year you have new activities (we visited the park in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016 so we know and see changes), animals are happy and look healthy.... So why not 5 stars you ask? Well thete are 2 points I do not like:
1. Bad web side-no possibility to check prices, book activities...
2. Not enough good marking on the activities-for example we paid for lorekeet feeding and we did not use it because we could not find place...
So dear Casela-mark better your activities (specially paid ones) and pay for better web side.

We had this time interaction with cubes (baby lions), safari quad and giraffe feeding. Everything was great but cubes were the most wonderful. We spent there time from 9 to 17. It was great time.

An amazing place, several great activities like driving with a quad through the park, feeding the giraffes or my personal favourite the walk with lions, which was. Unforgettable experience.
The staff is nice, speaks fluent English and are very helpful.

Cool place, fantastic tyrolka and swing on the rope. Minus for lions in captivity - I have not seen this attraction, I am this great opponent, I hope that someday they will give up. The rest is a plus.

This park is amazing (for people with children or who like animals :-))
It is unfortunately at some times a long queue at the entrance, but it's worth it because the hostesses explain the park and suggest when you can do what activities.
You have the opportunity to see many animals (birds, fish, big cats ...) but also to touch big cats. There is also the possibility to drive Segway or Quad, to slide a 400m long zipline, to drive in a safari car next to lions and tigers or to inspect and pet farm animals.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.

For me, the main attraction to this park is the "Walk with Lions" experience and cheetah interaction. I love cats and for me there's nothing like being able to get up close with big cats like these!

I've only visited Mauritius twice and even though I'd done the walk and cheetah interaction on our first visit, the second time I visited I really wanted to do it again.

The staff are very knowledgeable and I felt the big cats here were well looked after. On our most recent walk, the handlers made it clear to us that the lions would lead the pace of the walk even if it meant less photo opportunities for us!

The park has white tigers and white lions which are really rare. We didn't get to see the white tigers up close due to the refurbishment/expansion of the park, but we did catch a glimpse of them in the distance relaxing in a tree!

There are lots of other animals to see in the park, including a variety of birds and monkeys, but for us it was all about the big cats. If I visit Mauritius again (and I hope I do) I would do the walk with lions again.

The safari is not worthy. The animals are far out in the distance. Hard for kids to see. Not many animals in the safari. The lions are in seperate cages. One of them looked injured. walked with the lions is for you to walk with a stick along with the lion keepers. Good hike thats about it. Exhorbitant pricing across the whole park.

The place is wonderful and beautiful but you need to visit Badri as you see all the places and join all the activities
Of course, the bus that leads you to the black see the intervention and take a roll means the superiority of the superiority, but if you decide to intervene sit on the right when you see everything
The second thing if you plan to try to choose a day when clouds because the place is open and tired on the sunny day
Normal answer you eat and snakes but not eat animals
