We went to Cascade Vet after trying another emergency vet clinic first, and we had a great experience. Cascade Vet was very responsive and communicative from the moment we checked in. They did a good job at setting expectations for treatment and the wait time for our cat to be seen.

My feedback for Cascade Vet is for them to know that their kind, prompt, and clear communication made our experience with them really stand out from the other emergency vet clinic option we tried. If you can focus on creating this experience for all pet owners (especially on busy nights), I think you will be head and shoulders above the other options in the area.

They told me the top price for my pet's care would be $578, when I went to pick him up they tried to charge me another $150 or so even though they told me it would not be more than $578 the previous night. They also make you choose between resuscitating your pet during surgery if something goes wrong for an extra $250, or not resuscitate. So in other words if they mess up the procedure they are preforming while your animal is in their care, you will be charged $250 unless or you can choose to let them not live. I've never been so insulted in my life.

Last week my 8 week old puppy was vomiting and feeling lethargic. I called all around the other emergency clinics and no one answered. The only place that ended up responding was CVRC. I was so grateful because we found out that he ended up having parvo. My husband and I were devastated but the staff team took care of him throughout the whole process and kept us informed of his condition the whole time. They always picked up the phone and was able to clearly answer our questions. We were very anxious waiting for updates but we knew that he was being taken care of.

Fig was fully recovered from parvo and is currently in puppy quarantine from his siblings but has done amazingly well after going through something so traumatic.

We just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Dr. Ben Im! He is absolutely amazing! Every time he called us with an update he was courteous and very thorough in explaining the situation with detail. I had a ton of questions for him and he happily answered every single one with kindness and understanding. I m so grateful that he was the one to take care of Fig during this terrible time. I also wanted to thank all the vet techs and the rest of the staff team for working so hard at all hours of the day to provide care for our loving pets. Thank you so much for all that you do!

Kind and compassionate service. They quickly made a room available for my cat and kept me informed about treatment every step of the way. The post visit paper summary is a great way to know exactly what the diagnosis is, the plan to treat it and the way to administer the medicines. They are open 24 hours a day and said I can call with any questions or concerns. Very thankful to have found this clinic. God bless.

Went to take my dog to the emergency took about 3 hours of him being inside. Come to find out they didn t do nothing on him, apparently they said they ll check his vitals but the dr didn t even show up to see him. So your telling me that my dog wasn t seen by the doc and was hurting through the whole time. And then not doing anything about it. Like they re there for a reason. Waste of time

My dog Maggie was seen by Dr. Scavuzzo for emergency care. Not only was she thorough in the explanation of the problem at hand, she also was humble enough to speak with my hometown vet over the phone. This helped me make the ultimate and difficult choice to put my dog down :( Thank you for your kindness and patience on our worst day.

Their office's front desk staff is exceptional. They coordinated a rush on Maggie's remains to accommodate my schedule/untimely move across country. Thank you all at Cascade Veterinary Referral Center

This ER veterinary clinic is hands down the best in the entire area! I called over 9 different ER vets around and they were all and also at capacity and they would not even consider seeing my kitten. I have a very sick kitten this hospital immediately put us in the front line
and treated my little girl within 30 minutes. She has the cat panleukopenia (parvo for cats) 1 out of 2 she may work or may not
make it through this virus. However, all of the staff was 10 out
of 10 on communication and treatment. Also, the treatment price was amazing! I highly recommend this fantastic clinic. They not only did they send me home with food and antibiotics; she was given iv fluid with antibiotics, food, testing, other treatments, long very appreciated call from the doctor. Our bill was very greatful <3 Not expensive at all.

These people are incredible! Within hours they were able to identify what was wrong with our Sherman T Potter (kitty, treat him and refer us to a specialist. We are back 3 weeks later for another bout, but again, they are amazing

It's expensive, but I don't think more than Dove Lewis when we went there. They are very good at their job. Dr. Nyboer gets a bazillion stars

We had an emergency with our dog after two off leash dogs bit him. All the clinics around the city of Portland had a waiting time of 8 hours and when we call them the they had a 4 hour waiting time, so we headed their way from the VCA in Gresham. Amazing service from us pulling into our parking spot until we got to go home. After waiting for about 3 hours the vet assistant informed us that the vet had to go into surgery and waiting time will be longer, they kept apologizing for this, we were like no worries.

Excellent service and an amazing staff.

Dr. Sccavuzzo was such an amazing vet taking care of our dog. They kept apologizing for waiting too long.
