We have a small family business and were looking for a commercial property due to expansion and our current premises not being water tight!! We found a suitable property advertised by this company that was within budget and ideally situated. We contacted the John Truslove agency and went for a viewing. That afternoon we expressed how keen we were to secure the property and sent through the necessary papers as required. We were informed by Ian who dealt with us that he would send this through to the landlord and depending upon how quickly he came back we could potentially be in the property the following week. This is where contact stopped. For the next 4 days we tried to contact Ian who avoided our calls as he was either 'on the phone' or 'out conducting viewings'. We asked for a call back and this did not happen. Eventually having now become extremely frustrated and annoyed a lady from another department who 'knew nothing about the circumstances' rang us back and told us it had been let to someone else. Had I simply been told this on day 1 rather than led a merry dance by Ian that would have been fine. If I dealt with my customers in such an un-professional and rude manner I would have no customers left. Appalling service!
