Do not trust a word that they tell you. Promises were made with regards to starting wage that were agreed upon before signing a work contract. Upon receiving the first paycheck my earnings were minimum wage, multiple dollars below what was agreed upon. Hire ups are impossible to communicate with and claim all starting wages are minimum wage and always have been. LIARS. I quit and received a bill for over $400 for the uniform? So I try and return it and the lady says once its worn it's not returnable, so I say "3 of the shirts are still in the unopened plastic" and she says she still can't accept them and I have to pay. Fast forward 2 months after I left the uniforms at their office and I didn't pay and I get a call from a collections agency trying to collect on debt owed to Cascade Enforcement Agency. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. My credit score was dinged for this somehow and I am still getting collections calls. My advice: STAY AWAY

I worked for this joke of a company for about 5 months. Management was so bad I found myself calling in once a week just to avoid them. The top dispatch/supervisor Herget is obviously rasicist and sexist. It was apparent in his dispatch tickets. They had a transmale working under their roof who was to afraid to speak up because of Herget. They overwork everyone. Their turn over rate is high. There is no room for advancement. When I quit the entire patrol team quit and only 2 people stayed. It was so sad that it had to come to that. Be careful with your hours because the owner does whatever nessecary measures it takes to ensure he doesnt have to pay for overtime.

I am having a very difficult time writing this review as a result of the state of my mental health after being involved with this company. I can not stress this enough, if yo value your mental health and want to work for a company that has any regard for its employees DO NOT WORK HERE!!!! I am no kid and have been a working man for coming on 15 years now in the Portland area and never have I come across a company as badly run as this one that somehow stays in business. No recommendation even to my worst enemy, walking away now all I find myself asking is "who the heck hires this so called security company?". I don't really see any security work done so save your money and find another company to hire that cares. Thanks for reading and I hope my experience can deter at least one person thinking about working here.

I enjoy working for the agency, a very customer service oriented organization. We are a diverse group from many different backgrounds with a common goal. Also, the company uses high tech instruments and applications and stays up to date on technological advances. This is not your grandfather s business.

It's amazing that as the owner of Cascade Enforcement Agency, which I started in 1997 and have been running the whole time find myself writing a review to make a statement against all the fabricated reviews that I find being written against my company. I am fine with anyone that wants to write a review and place their real name on the review so that I can comment on the review with the company side of things. I can say in reviewing these reviews if anyone of them placed their real name on the review then I would be able to respond on why this ex employee was terminated or left the company on poor cause. The reason I say this is that only people that are leaving reviews on the company page are people that work for another company and want to down play us or its former employee that has a beef with them getting fired for sleeping on the job, always being late, being terminated by the client for rules violations. The biggest reason for the hate is that we as a company make our employees do the work that is requested from the clients. The culture now is that employees do not want to be held accountable and when we do they lash out. We have many employees that have over 10 years employment here and many more that have over 5 years employment. We do have many that are in the 1 to 3 year range. If you are writing a negative review and giving baseless accusations I am sorry that you took the time to write up lies about a company that I know does not do any of the things that you say. There are like a small handful of actual employees that have written reviews and I have answered the ones that are not.
So if you want to write a review and are and ex employee and you want to place your name on the review and be honest I will be honest and write the real reason you do not work here. Its your dirty laundry and if you want to open it to public I will respond. If you want to hide behind a review that you do not place your name to it well its false and made up.
There is something to be said for a company like mine that has been in business from 1997 to current and you have all come and gone just like many, many of my competitors that have written and said many things.
My crew of employees are the best in the business and if they dont meet the cut we weed them out. The clients come to us cause we do what they ask of us and we prove it electronically and back up with complete proof. This is the reason we have been in business from 1997 to current.
I huge shout out to all my employees current and former that stand up for CEA all the time. I just talked today with our long time former and current trainer R. McGillvery and he was telling me that when he hears this kind of talk he said to me I just shut it down cause I know its not true and that's that he said.
