They're so good here and really helped the children to understand how to look after their new pets. The fish in the shop all look healthy and well cared for.

Not bought any koi yet just setting up the pond. The guy who served my husband gave him loads of info and when we're ready for the fish we will be returning here

Very knowledgeable and always happy to help with any questions and queries.

Awful service. 3 staff left 2 of us waiting whilst on the phone, stock checks etc. Then served someone who had just walked through the door. Waited a good 15 mins before deciding not to hand them any money. Waste of a 22 mile round journey.

Good place for marine fish. Lacking in the coral department.

Excellent place to shop! I am a beginner Fish tanker and wanted to get it right, first time round. After searching in my local pet shops where I was just not getting any help or variety, I decided to venture into Cascade located in Bury.

Upon arrival you can sense that this is the right place, lots of tanks, fish and accessories. Staff, especially Harry were so patient, helpful and shared great knowledge and didnt push me to buy things I didn't need. I managed to obtain all the knowledge and products to get my first aquarium started from him. I also got a gift voucher which will cover my first set of fish!

I would very highly recommend this place for all fish related stuff.

Good selection of marine, tropical and freshwater fish, good knowledgeable staff for advice, finance options available for larger purchases.

Will be visiting again soon, clean, fresh and healthy fish with very bright colours.

Got some Platy fish from here a while back... asked for 2 females and was given a male but they exchanged it for me.
Later down the line however both of these developed bent spines and weren t well.
I had 7 Platy fish in total and the others were completely fine, only the 2 from here.
I ve read that bent spines can be due to inbreeding... ironic really because when my Platy fish had fry I asked if they d take any (for free obviously I wasn t looking for money) but they said no due to potentially contaminating their stock!

Bought a pump , 3 week later it broke and they won't change it or reimburse, lady swore at me walking out.

There isn't a better place in manchester for koi... believe me I've searched! The range and qauility of the fish is unbeaten. The staff know what there talking about and the amount of stock choice they have is double anywhere else.

I use this place a lot and it is my go-to place for fish food and pond supplies. The koi are good quality fish at sensible sizes. We always walk round it whenever we go. Last major purchase was a UV filter to replace an old failed unit about 12 years old. Helpful, pleasant staff who know all about pondkeeping and fish.

Generally ok, however I feel as if the business is run purely for profit as many of the fish do not look very well and some prices are quite extortionate. Certain staff are quite miserable and rude, however the others are very nice.

Looks can be deceiving it's like the TARDIS this place . Car park has enough room for a smart car and moped but inside it wall to wall fish stuff. Tanks, filters, heaters , rocks. It's worth a look if you're keeping fish. I killed less fish this year and thats thanks to their advice.

Great place to get fish and the guy I spoke to was quite knowlegable on the fish I asked about which is always good. Better than most places when they get a book out and start reading up or an answer such as 'i dunno..maybe'. Going back in a few weeks to buy the fish I asked about for my pond.

lots of fish although too many of the same type in my opinion (90% are showa/sanke and so all look the same). I rang up last week to see if it was worth me the 1 hour drive as i was only looking for a Goshiki or Utsuri - to be told " erm... we have some white and orange ones?" Not much help and I obviously didn't make the journey on that information. They do have a great system thoughh - a button you can press which switches the aerator off for 30 seconds so you can actually see the fish instead of just fizzing. simple but brilliant

I was buying for someone else who had rang the order through. When the lady serving us said "oh it wasn't me he spoke to ". I Thought oh no we are going to have a right job now. But the she reached over and brought out a package and list. I was so pleased.
