A confirmation! Quality, emotion, courtesy. All at the highest level. Now with the summer outdoor area it is even more pleasant to savor the goodness of the Palermo tradition. Be careful if you order a cannolo, you will surely ask for another!

Traditional restaurant. I had fresh fish and was delicious. We also had sward fish which was very good. Prices are reasonable. Not baby friendly, they can't offer a high chair. But all in all was a good experience.

Great cous cous, the best I had on my Sicilian holiday. Refined restaurant, friendly staff, great food, even the advice for choosing the wine I've enjoyed, a great "cusumano" ......... pity that my holiday is over, I wanted to taste other dishes ... advice to all those who are on vacation nearby ........

Food good, especially the antipasti buffet is great! It is a pity that you can not sit outside. The staff was unfortunately not very friendly and we felt somehow undesirable. Still 4 stars for the food :)

You can't stop in Palermo without a visit to the Casa del Brodo: a splendid welcome, kindness and speed of service, dishes that delight the palate and tell stories of the territory. Wine list more than decent. One of my favorite restaurants in Sicily.

Not much in sight. Welcoming staff. Fraco and good food. Typical Sicilian cuisine. Price 25 per person with wine, coffee and dessert. Malvasia / passito / limoncello offered by the house. I will recommend it to all my friends.

Import the historic center of Palermo .. well made in complex dishes Excellent presentation buffet of appetizers .. Important guests of caliber ... Beautiful locale..buoni wines. He would miss the oenologist ... From such a place I would have expected a cascade of sweets .. The menu would be a little old-fashioned. Even something else ... Overall great local ..

Service was attentive and waitstaff were very kind and helpful with the menu. The food was simple and delicious! The prices are quite high and the ambience is a bit average. Felt slightly touristy

Great place to eat traditional dishes. Pleasant location and excellent value for money. Historic place in the historic center, easily reachable also from the Porta Nuova side (sea side). Highly recommended.

This was the best meal in Palermo that we had, we were greated by the chef s wife to our table. Once we sat we had the house wine which was delicious and the antipasto which was also delicious and typical Sicilian food. After we eat the linguini al vongole and the sardine pasta which both dishes we re outstanding. The owner Maria, came to our table to discuss with us and make us laugh throughout the evening and constantly made sure we had everything we needed. If there is one dinner you must have in Palermo, it s here definitely we will come back every time we re in Palermo

Very nice restaurant with great workers. The food was good but not excellent. I ordered the Pasta alla Norma, however I also tasted the pasta with sword fish and eggplant and the pork chop. The Pasta alla Norma was the best of the three.

It's a good place to have a nice meal and taste local cuisine in a refined setting. The service is excellent. The antipasti bar is one of the I have encountered in Palermo. I visited with a group of colleges staying in Palermo for a conference, it was suitable for this type of crowd. Table s are close together and the atmosphere rather bistro like. There is no outdoor seating and the road it is on is rather busy with traffic.

Historical and elegant but at the same time welcoming restaurant. The menu offers traditional dishes is absolutely worthy: excellent macaroni with swordfish and rolls of the same. Anyone visiting Palermo should indulge in a dinner in this restaurant to immerse themselves in a place of yesteryear.

We did not have the pleasure of having lunch because despite having set two weeks in advance, I was phoned telling me to arrive an hour later or 21:30 because they had groups of tourists. In my opinion it does not seem correct I was disappointed. Max

Historical place in Palermo, now managed by the grandson of the founder, the excellent chef Gaetano. The choice of appetizers is vast, all typically from Palermo. All courses are a pleasure for the sight, the sense of smell and the taste. Fish served very fresh. And the dish from which the restaurant always takes its name ... boiled with potatoes. Definitely worth trying

"A visit to the Doctor ..." Excellent welcome and comfortable environment even if the tables are very close together. But what matters is the food. Haute cuisine and superlative flavors. Croutons with urchins, fritella as appetizers. I really recommend pasta with swordfish and sublime and unbeatable eggplant. Very tasty meat and boiled meats and finally a slice of Sicilian cassata. Congratulations to the chef. Fair wine list with many Sicilian labels. Highly recommended

Cozy place with a 'dated' clientele. Waiter not up to par, and a bit intrusive. A boiled meat that appeared super on paper, it was actually stringy and stringy leather, presented in a dish that was sad and not at all appetizing. Disappointing

We ordered a whole fish. All right. But at the time of payment, the waiter reminded us that the service is not included and opened the wallet to see if we had left the tip when we were chatting after paying. A very inconvenient act and lack of courtesy.

The place is interesting, it opens at 19:30 pm. If you do not book in advance (you can on the site or by phone), then you need to come half an hour before the opening, then the queue of those who want to get to the institution. As for the kitchen, the classic Sicilian home cooking, we ordered grilled fish (catch of the day) and couscous with seafood. The fish did not like it, it was fresh, not fried, not boiled, absolutely tasteless. The couscous was delicious, you will not say anything. In general, the impressions after the visit were mixed, maybe we chose the wrong dishes? But on the way out, the ditie asked for a roll with a spleen, tk. not nalos, however, my wife and I did not refuse. The result of this visit, probably in order to try this Sicilian cuisine, this institution should be visited, but thoughtful approach to the choice of dishes. According to the account, the fish of the day-three portions, couscous-a large portion, two glasses of wine and two water, the cost was 108 euros.

I went to lunch with a local woman. I was pleased with the food I put on my hands. The atmosphere is good and you can enjoy it easily. It was a pity that there were only full bottles or glasses of wine, but something delicious.

Excellent restaurant in the center very refined with prices in the standard absolutely to try in Palermo with very good dishes and attention to detail. Nothing to do with the junk food that is nearby called street food! Excellent service by the guys Andrea and Salvatore. Congratulations to the Doctor!

A corner of Palermo history. The quality of the dishes is good but not exceptional. Efficient and kind service. Medium high price and slightly reduced portions. On the walls so many photos of the past.
