I have just had all my windows and doors replaced by Carrington Windows and I cannot fault their service. The salesman who gave us a quote was a great guy, the guys who fitted the windows and doors were both friendly and respectful and the customer service has been very efficient and polite. I found the whole experience efficient and painless and I am absolutely delighted with my windows and doors.
Dreadful company, and a below par product. The story is long, and they never presented themselves well. I cannot give them a low enough score.
Don't use this company. There have been at least one, probably two previous incarnations operating under similar name, operating from the same address, which have gone into liquidation. Our son had double glazing, from one of the former companies, which was very badly completed (misted windows within 12 months, large gaps around the windows so that the wind literally howled through them regularly) and, of course, the company went bust before any repairs could be arranged. In addition, although we have never had dealings with them, they have persisted in unwanted marketing calls on a regular basis over the last few years, despite the fact that we are TPS registered and have told them in writing and by text NOT to call again.
If i could rate zero stars i would! Issues when windows fitted with damaged tiles and ill-fitting windows and now my composite door is warping! I've been calling them for 4 weeks now to come out and look at the door and today have been told that they have gone out of business! Be warned people
Be very wary, windows and doors good after a few issues; paid well over the odds for them though, very crafty salesmanship. Guttering done also, very substandard, still leaking on joints, cannot get them to come back to repair them, then get bombarded by new sales team as they have set up again. No thanks
EDIT: Since my review the front door failed to keep the rain out resulting in serious damage to the flooring. Apparently the weather strip was never fitted to the door. Flooring in the living room has had to be replaced. The harassing marketing campaign is still continuing. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!
The door is really good and the service and fitting were OK but I've have leave a bad review because of their harassing marketing campaign. I've been getting a call every week or two for months now. Every time I ask to be taken off the list and yet the calls keep coming. The number comes up private so I can't even block it. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company anymore.
Avoid these cheats, I had my windows changed 2 years ago and at the time i thought it was a good job until I started having problems. 2 of my windows have blown, and I have been trying to get them replace under warranty for the last 6 months. They don't answer the phone and when they do they are downright ignorant. Best advice is to just avoid
After 2 years of nuisance calls from this company and all my requests for my phone no to be removed from their system, I have found it necessary to complain to Trading Standards, ICO & TPS in the hope they can help put a to their unsolicited call
Very disappointing company
This company fitted me large patio windows when they wouldn't slide properly I asked them to come back they did not they then contact me about fitting new windows I asked them to come and look at the patio windows and also to give me a quote for the two new windows they said they would they promised to ring me and make an appointment several times at last they called me and said they couldn't get in touch with me two phone numbers and an answer machine so Why?haven't put my thoughts to them that I thought they were very disappointing company I had the phone put down on me
My advise would be to try a more reliable company that stick to what they say !!
Bunch of cowboys. Avoid.
We had a new conservatory built, the roof is now leaking in 3 places, but I'm told the firm has gone in to liquidation meaning the "10 year warranty" they supplied isn't worth the paper it's written on, and of course they didn't have the warranty underwritten by any trade group.
Checking companies house it seems there's a pattern of these cowboys going bust, then starting again as a new company, at the same location, with the same directors.
Avoid at all costs.

We had bifold doors fitted, the handle broke, it took weeks to get them to replace it then 3 weeks later it broke again.
Been trying to get it fixed again but nobody calls back, when you do contact them they make excuses and now I've found they've gone bust.
Apparently the company that has bought them will not fix anything for the companies clients.
So basically if you've bought anything from Carrington Windows you're on your own!
DONT GIVE THESE COWBOYS A DEPOSIT I cancelled my order once i found out how bad Carrington windows are and waited over 4 months to get my money back .
