Took much longer than anticipated and the guys were bounced around from job to job while trying to complete our basement. Besides that they did a phenomenal job. They went above and beyond to help get everything done right and it was gorgeous when done.

I am a former employee who left voluntarily due to the practices of this company. Justin Sucato the owner care about one thing, money and how much they can make off customers. I'm ashamed that I ever worked for them. They treat employees like trash. They work them 24 hours a day. They don't care if they haven't slept. I was forced to work Friday,Saturday and Sunday non stop getting maybe 3 or 4 hours of sleep total in all three days. They do not pay creditors or refunds they do deliberately ignore phone calls. I was an employee I saw this first hand. Do not do business with Carrara. They are also being investigated by BBB, OSHA, IRS, Wages and Hours board of Ohio, the Ohio Attorney General, and other state and federal agencies.

It s been four years and the damage has not been replaced. They ignore phone calls will not answer emails from USAA. The owner is not available always in some kind of a meeting. Go elsewhere for your service!

KIlled my dog.

When Carrara's people came to assess the damage to our home after a fire they were informed that we could not completely vacate the house because of our pets.

The removal crews began work on Monday, January 29. As of today, Sunday, Feb 4, the work in the basement is not completed. The supervisors and were crew were specifically instructed when they began the job that all doors leading to or out of the basement were to be closed when the crews were not working and at the end of the job day, to prevent any pets from accidentally escaping. I personally closed the door leading from the basement to the fenced in backyard so that there was no way our dogs could get into the basement while the men were working. The first night they came, Monday, they closed the doors as instructed at the end of the day.

On Tuesday, after leaving here, they left the garage door and the door to the basement wide open. I closed the door to the basement myself. On Wednesday, they did the same, and I, again, closed the door to the garage myself. The door from the backyard to the basement remained closed. On Thursday they gathered and bagged a pile of clothing and other objects that the firemen had thrown out into the backyard. When they
finished that project they left the door from the backyard to the basement wide open. They did not advise us that they had opened that door. They then left for lunch, also leaving the door to the garage and the garage door to the street open. Unaware that the dogs could get into the basement and then out of the house, we let the dogs out for a potty break. When we went to let the dogs back in we realized they were missing. On checking the basement, all the doors were discovered open.

During our attempts to locate the missing pets, we received a call letting us know that one dog had been caught by employees of a local machine shop, and the other had been hit by a car and killed. Animal
Control brought Shadow, the dog that survived, and the body of Anubis, the dog that was killed, back to the house. azzz
When confronted, the work crew insisted that they always made sure that the doors were closed before they left, which I know for a fact is not true. When I insisted that Carrara's people pick up my dog's body and transport it to the crematorium we have used for previous pets, they dithered over whether or not "they could do that." Eventually they arranged for the crematorium to retrieve my dog's corpse and to pay for cremation. When I asked how Carrara intended to address our loss, they brusquely responded that they were sorry for our loss and that a different crew would be sent out on Monday. I advised them that we did not want their crews returning at this time.

We are utterly devastated at the loss of our pet, and the carelessness and callous attitude that has been displayed by Carrara employees. We are hurt and angry over this senseless and completely avoidable
tragedy and the cavalier behaviour that has followed. Thus far, Cararra employees have caused us more damage and trauma to our home and family than the fire they were supposed to help us recover from.

Stay away, terrible service, lies, delays. Only time they were sure to reach out is when they wanted a check signed. Know that you don't have to go with them just because your insurance company sends them, and you shouldn't.

I am the Owner of Express Employment Professionals in Columbus, OH. I provided associates to Justin Sucaro of Carrara Companies. Carrara quit paying their invoices and now owe my company over 100,000$. They will not respond to any phone calls or emails. In addition, they hired on my associates that I provided them, even though they were not paying their invoices. This is a breach of contract. I have now hired an attorney and filed in Common Pleas Court against Carrara Companies.

Truly a deceitful and dishonest company. My company and I have worked for Carrara and its owner for some time now, and not once have they ever paid on time or had good communication on the projects. The office staff lies about payments, the jobsite managers are terrible and are always complaining about Carrara and its practices. Every manager we have worked with at the company has quit due to working conditions, and to top it off they still currently owe my company thousands of dollars in which the owner has informed me to get it in court

Warning to customers: Do not hire them for your projects or restoration clean up. They will not be trustworthy.

Warning to subcontractors: Do not complete any work for them, for they will not pay.

Warning to those seeking employment: Do not hurt your reputation by affiliating with this company.

The absolute worst experience we have ever endured as homeowners.
From start to finish this company lacked any resemblance of integrity or concern for their customers home.
After immediately cashing our 50% deposit check, it took weeks of daily phone messages and emails to them to actually get someone to come out to perform the repairs. Then, shortly after they claimed the work was completed outside, we had major interior damage. The work was Not completed properly. Our request for a refund has not been addressed . The last couple messages now placed with the owner have also been ignored. We would advise anyone to spare yourselves the trouble, there are many other reliable and ethical companies out there who Will prioritize and take good care of your home. Carrara will Not.

Great way to obtain insurance CE courses. They are informative with personable teachers. Certainly not boring. Includes videos. Best part is they provide lunch and treats throughout. Only place I go for continuing education.

While this company I believed was going to take away all my stress from having a flood in my basement....Tina came to my house the very next day telling me all that this company would provide from beginning to end. I ALMOST posted on FB, how happy I seemed that I had chose a reputable company from Richfield.
**Well, let me say.....I'm so thankful that I did not post before any work was completed.**
I never seen Tina again, nor did I ever speak to her again. They were supposed to arrive at my house at 800am on Saturday to start clearing out my basement. 800am.....came and went. I received a call at 930am from BRICE, who stated there was a miscommunication about when they were supposed to start on my basement and that they would have someone there around 230pm. I told him that 230pm was unacceptable, that I set my appt for 800a and there should have been NO confusion to (first stop of the day) therefore I wanted someone there ASAP. Brice then proceeded to tell me that he could resschedule the appt for Sunday morning.....I told him absolutely not. I wanted someone here ASAP....He then stated he would have a gentleman head my way to start and then would sent another guy to help him out.....Well 1130am is when they finally arrived. 3 guys who had NO IDEA what they were supposed to be doing. After explaining what I was told would be done....they started the clean up. HORRIBLE clean up job guys....2 of the guys moved stuff from the basement to my garage. Thinking that these guys knew what they were doing....I later discovered that all of the water damaged items were placed in the garage but never inventoried.....for replacement. After asking about certain items that I knew were damaged, is when I actually found that they definitely had NO IDEA (again) what they were to be doing. After several discussions and much anxiety on my part, I placed a call to Brice, explaining my unhappiness....EXTREME unhappiness and this is not what they promised. They needless to say, never returned, because I called my insurance company and told them I did not want this company back into my home. There is so much more to this story....I could go on forever with the BULLS**T from Carrara......

ONE THING I WILL SAY......DO NOT USE CARRARA COMPANIES. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. YOU WILL BE JUST AS UNHAPPY AS I WAS....AND OBVIOUSLY MANY OTHERS HAVE BEEN.

SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRUST ME..... FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO USE!!!

DO NOT USE! You do not have to use the company your insurance gives you! This company is BY FAR the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their 2 week project took almost a year! They didn t show up, the subcontractors would quit in the middle and Carrara wouldn t tell you, they LIE all the time-to the point I had to tape each conversation. They broke every appliance in my kitchen by pulling them out of their nook by the handles. The only way we could get someone on the phone is if we 3 way called with our insurance. They would work a day (5 hour shift!) and not return for weeks. We have so many issues right now that have gone bad-1 year after they finished . RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. READ ALL THE REVIEWS AND SEE FOR YOURSELF HOW TERRIBLE THEY ARE!!

The work I had completed by this company was extre...

The work I had completed by this company was extremely disappointing.

Throughout my project, I had no consistent supervisor or contact person. One subcontracting team would come to do part of the job then I'd hear nothing for weeks. This repeated for each section of the job, and the job ended up taking several months to complete. The supervisor changed at least twice during the project and no communication was made to me about any of the changes. Each supervisor told me they were new to the company and were sent to fix what hadn't gone right from the previous supervisor.

The end result left me with places I will have to have someone else come in to fix. The supervisor sent to finish the job was so incompetent that I, with no experience at all, can see the dents left in the wall that were made by their subcontractors (and weren't there before they started the job) and not fixed completely or properly, and a portion of a map was simply tacked to the wall with wire holders.

While the value of items broken by one of the subcontracting teams (that I found after they left and that they never told me about) was deducted from my end cost, the amount of frustration I experienced in this project was never addressed or compensated. I felt completely taken advantage of and in the end just paid them to get them out of my house before they made the project any worse.

I would never recommend this company, and would warn people to look elsewhere for their repairs needs. Working with this company was the worst experience I have ever had while having work done at my home. To this day I regret ever hiring them for the job.

Run, Run, Run! Don't make the same mistake I did!...

Run, Run, Run! Don't make the same mistake I did! I found out later you DO NOT Have to use the company recommended by your insurance company. You can use any company you choose and it does not necessarily have to be a RESTORATION type company. The insurance company wants you to use their preferred companies because it saves them money. These reviews are all accurate, don't make a mistake. If they truly did a good job, their would be people who would give them 5 star reviews. Find a company that cares about doing a good job.
