Service friendly. Reasonable price. Cane with a free entry to the dinosaur museum which the kids loved.

We were in Canberra for a boys trip and we ended up staying in carotel... The cabins here are wonderful and has all the facilities available.. It is just 10 mins away from city to quite convenient.. The staff here are very friendly and they have maintained this place very well... It's amidst the nature with a mountain setup which we loved... We will Definately be back here soon..

This place rudely overcharges and then expect you to pay an extra cleaning fee of $16 to interrupt your visit invade your paid for time and make you leave while they clean. I was charged a $200 security Bond which they did not refund because there was tobacco that they had to vacuum up on our exit. absolutely dumbfounded that they cleaned the day before we left yet required our $200 security deposit. Considering the smoker left 2 days before we did the $16 clean should have removed any spilt tobacco and the massive destruction it caused. No clean towels were offered all weak either and the Wi-Fi couldn't reach our cabin that was situated five from the office if it wasn't for the Cockroaches it would have been no entertainment

Clean, tastefully decorated and painted with a home from home feel to it. It was a nice touch being personally asked if there was anything we needed to make our stay more comfortable. Highly recommended!!

The staff were so accommodating and helpful. We turned up with 2 cars with car trailers and they took away all our concerns about parking them safely and close to our cottage.

The rooms are a good size and clean, the fold out beds are surprisingly comfortable and it is nice and quiet. I would definately stay here again

Went here for school camp.
Cabins were openly styled but homely. Air conditioner was bad at keeping all of the heat of our cabin warm. We froze overnight because it thought that our room was warm. Even though we set it to 28 degrees Celsius. Food was ok. Flavourful but presentation wasn t the winner. Cereal was stale. Chairs were quite cramped into others. Please make it more spacious in the dining room you couldn t get out of your seat. The meeting room was ok but not great for watching a movie as a group of school students. Overall, I found the stay quite good. The chefs were very nice. I would come here again if I was desperate. Thanks for making a good experience Carotel!

My family had an extended stay at the Canberra Carotel Motel in January 2021. We stayed in the two bedroom spa villa. The villa was very spacious, and clean. The kitchen had all the necessities and the spa was wonderful. The stand out about this motel though is the amazing staff that went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable during our stay, a special mention and thank you to the lovely Anna.

The surrounding environment is lovely, lots of kangaroos around. I would recommend a stay, especially families with young children that require space.
