Just want to say that I worked with two very delightful employees on my quest to get a wheelchair for my husband who has Alzheimer's disease.
Mr. RAY KROL was very instrumental in helping me get exactly what we needed, and in getting it as quickly as possible. He was very kind and friendly in all of our conversations. Thank you, Ray.
Mr. RICK STRUNK was the young man who delivered the wheelchair. He was extremely patient while waiting for me to get my husband to stand up so he could try out his new chair. He was very personable and friendly, and apparently a good Christian man. He was considerate of our needs, explained the paperwork successfully, and seems to be doing a really good job. Thank you, Rick.

Here's the deal: When you are put on supplemental oxygen 24/7, you don't know what life is going to be like and you don't know what equipment exists or what you are going to need. It's scary. This company solves these mysteries for you quickly and simply and in a way you can understand. They provide you with the maximum ability to live an active life. The staff is always available to quickly deal with any issues or questions you have. Also, the staff are people who take an interest in you and who you will enjoy working with.

I visited CHM twice for purchasing CPAP and then for follow up and adjustments and am impressed with the courtesy extended by Sonya Pierce in explaining in great detail the use of the equipment and answering all questions. She made it possible for me to use it without any hassles and she was very cooperative in resolving the teething troubles very efficiently. I would recommend CHM and their equipment to all.

They sent me the reservoir to the wrong machine. We returned that as it wasn't our order in Matthews. Picked up correct order. Now I am being charged for the returned reservoir as well as the one that was ordered. They even know which machine I use. I'm being charged for their incompetence.

I visited with Sonya Pearce for some help with my BiPap machine which did not want to start right away each evening. She was very friendly and immediately begin to check out the machine, which as you might guess worked just fine for her!! However I had thought to not only bring the machine but the power supply and when Sonya tried with my power supply the problem immediately was evident. Thus a simple replacement power supply avoided the time and expense of a new machine. I was very impressed with the quick turn abound and the clear display of knowledge and ability. I would recommend Carolina's Home Medical Equipment for any of your needs.

Excellent company to deal with. Visited their store right before Christmas and was surprised how they handled my CPAP concerns. This is a great place to go to for repairs and supplies for your cpap machine. I called to inquire about getting repairs and supplies paid for by my insurance. They told me exactly what to do. When I came in without an appointment, the receptionist had someone help me right away.

Serge, the respiratory therapist was very helpful. He showed me several face masks that were improvements on the old one I had. I was thrilled that they would let me try one out for 30 days and trade it for a different one if I didn t like it. He spent some time helping me to choose the one that would work best for me.

Serge suggested a number of supplies that my insurance would cover that I wouldn t have thought of. And they had the part I needed to replace on my machine in stock.

I would give then an A+ on customer service.

I am still having problem with there customer service an management. For one since they let go the young lady who alway made sure my order was done every month she left an now I have to call an remind them before I run out each month. An when I call I get an attitude from the staff an so call managers when I ask for their supervisors they are always on vacation an no one never call you back about your concerns so unprofessional I think. Yes! I have reported this to my doctors about how I keep running out of supplies before I receive my next shipment. This need to be address an the better's business bureau will be notified.

Jonathan has been to my house twice today. The first was to bring me a new kind of mattress for my hospital bed and this second was to deliver a lift chair to me. He not only took exceptional care of my and my needs he was instrumental in answering the questions I needed answered about the lift chair before I made my final decision about it.

I was in management myself for over 30 years and cannot say how good an employee he is. It isn't often you find one that is dedicated even when they are out of your direct line of sight.

Professional, Prompt, Courteous, and Attentive Service - Exceeded Our Expectations!

Thank you for the outstanding customer service that Ashley has continuously provided to my mom for her medical equipment needs. My mother is handicapped and needed assistance with customizing a manual wheelchair and then an electronic wheelchair.

Ashley is thorough, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure that my mother's medical needs were addressed in a timely manner. She's extremely responsive, kind and caring. My mother described her as an 'Angel' sent along the way to help her at this stage of life. I must commend Ashley for going the extra mile for being extremely patient, kind and caring with my mom. It's a challenge sometimes to take the time to explain and then re-explain the same thing to ensure that she understands what's being said to her.

Ashley can only be described as the employee that should be cloned because she's a true exemplar of what customer service should look like and feel like with the elderly population. We have used a few medical equipment services and Carolina's Home Medical Equipment based on my experiences with Ashley and the customer service telephone team to include John can only be described as exceptional customer care-this company is a cut above the rest and I am speaking from experience.

I highly recommend this company for all of your medical equipment needs.

Carolina s Home Medical Equipment, Inc. is an outstanding service provider. I started using CPAP equipment in early July 2019. Ezequiel Silva, a Respiratory Technician walked me through the process, choices and what to expect as I adjust to the equipment. Over the past 10+ weeks, Ezequiel has responded to my questions and visits exceptionally well. His suggestions have all been positive and his pleasant approach sets the benchmark for service. I trust his guidance and advice. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing their available services.

If I could give them no stars I would. I have been with them since Jan 2014, and they have done nothing but mess up EVERY order I have received. January's order I finally got in March. Now my Bi-Pap Power cord went out and they want me to pay $56 plus $10 shipping for a new one. It is a covered expense according to the Medicare Specialist I spoke to but obviously they are too inexperienced to realize what is a covered expense and what isn't. So I have been without my Bi-pap machine for 3 nights. I HAVE to have my machine because my sleep apnea is so bad that when I stop breathing...I have panic attacks. They don't seem to care.

I am switching to a new company and shouldn't have the problems I have had with them. I suggest you look around for a different company that actually CARES!!!

We didn't know we needed an appointment but he worked us in very quickly. He took his time and addressed every concern we had and made sure we were clear on how to operate our equipment. Professional and courteous Serge Mukha represented Carolina's Home Medical Equipment (CHME) with a smile and with full understanding of the CPAP equipment I needed. Because he answered all my questions with confidence and even anticipated questions I would have, I feel comfortable about calling him in the future should I have further questions. He showed me all the functions of the CPAP machine as well as presented all the charges on the CHME billing arrangement. Serge further listened to my concerns and queries, and he was able to recommend parts for the equipment that he felt would best meet my needs. He also respected my choices. Went in to request another mask since I had tried two and had not "synced" with them! Joshua, whom I had not met before, was most awesome. He had lots of experience from his own C-pap use and his first recommendation fits me like a dream. I was most impressed with his expertise. Now THAT'S customer service! Thank you, Joshua!

My husband and I went to the Matthews location to pick-up his first cpap machine. We first met with Deena Kilgo to go over all the particulars involved with health insurance and out-of-pocket expenses. She was very nice and answered all of our questions until we understood the process. Then we met with Serge Mukha to get the cpap machine. He is very knowledgeable and very thorough. He was patient with us and offered a lot of advice. This is very important because this is all new to us and we were a little nervous. When we left the office we were comfortable with the whole process and knew what to do at home. Thank you.

Sonya Pearce, RRT,RCP, Respiratory Therapist did an excellent job of introducing me to my new CPAP machine, giving me hands on instruction and insuring that I knew every essential detail of the apparatus in an easy to understand professional presentation. She insured that my mask fit exactly right and showed me the easiest way to insure perfect fit. Needless to say my first night was a success. I feel that I was fortunate to be assigned to Sonya and can highly recommend her as a pleasant and professional Therapist.

When I came home, I was able to use the machine with no problem. He assured me that he was available at anytime if I needed assistance, and I appreciate the friendly, professional service he provided.

Stubborn, unhelpful
After being assured on the phone that I would be able to get a nasal cannula without doctor's prescription I traveled 50 miles.
Needless to say they refused me stubbornly and without apology for their mistake. I had a prescription for oxygen just not for a cannula.
I found them arrogant and rude.

I spoke with Sonya P., respiratory therapist, in her office at Carolina's Home Medical Equipment facility in Matthews, NC. Sonya thoroughly reviewed all aspects of the CPAP I personally needed in order to get a more deep night's sleep. She was very professional and pointed out all of the features I needed to be aware of on the unit, how to use them, clean them, and have an understanding of the digital displays as well. I highly recommend Sonya to anyone who needs a CPAP in order to improve their waking hours.

When I was traveling in early February, my 6 foot hose broke on my CPAP Machine. I googled the nearest Home healthcare equipment company and found Carolina Home Medical Equipment. After a telephone call and directions, I found myself talking to the receptionist, Erin Heger. After explaining that she could not sell me a new hose without my doctors prescription, she said she would check with the inventory in the back of store. Well after a few minutes, she came back with a new hose and said I could have it. There would be too much trouble waiting for the prescription and my insurance would not allow a new hose because it would be too soon. I was very grateful for this assistance. Both Erin and Terrell insisted I take the hose. Thank you very much for these generous people. I am only sorry that I didn't write this sooner.

The service and support at Carolina's Medical is miles beyond that of my previous CPAP supplier and I thank Deena and Serge for a wonderful experience. I called CHMEI on April 14,2015 with a concern abo...

I called CHMEI on April 14,2015 with a concern about my c pap machine not performing properly. The representative tried to trouble shoot the issue over the phone, but it ended up resulting in having to bring the machine in for examination. Upon arrival I was met by Serge who has assisted me in the past. Serge initially diagnosed a defective flow sensor and explained the machine would need to go out for repair with this issue. Serge arranged for me to have a rental machine during this process due to the length of time the factory would need to perform the repairs. After some further inspection Serge actually determined that the power supply was causing the machine failure. He was able to source a replacement power supply to replace the failed one that was 4 plus years old. I am very pleased with Serge's attention to detail and persistence to find and resolve my issue.

I have had several service problems with my ResMed CPAP unit. Each time I have called for service Mr. Serge Mukha RRT, RCP has helped me. Great place to buy a breast pump machine using your insurance. Once you send them your drs prescription they ll do the rest. Erin was super helpful nice and accommodating. She even went above and beyond and stayed few minutes pass their closing time. Highly recommend!

Serge Mukha, RRT, RCP took very good care of me today when I received my "sleep" mask. I felt very confident how to use my equipment when I left his office. Surge took the time to fit the correct mask and adjust it to fit me. I would recommend him to my best friends and family. It was a very pleasurable and rewarding time spent with Surge.

We'ver had to find Medical equipment twice in the past year, and Carolinas Medical Supply has been exceptional each time. Prior to locating this business, getting what we needed was a round and round experience of great frustration in Charlotte. Carolinas Medical Supply cut through all the red tape. Other businesses have agonizing waits; here we were taken care of right away. The people who work here are professionals who truly want to help. This business overflows with integrity and kindness. The interior is updated and clean. We'll never go anywhere else. No one wants to need medical equipment but when it happens, you want assistance and not aggravation.

Being new to all of this baby stuff :) I was pleasantly surprised as to how quickly things got done thanks to her. I strongly recommend this location and Erin to expecting mommas. Carolina's Home Medical Equipment was a life saver. I was traveling and accidentally left part of my CPAP machine at home. Erin at CHMEI was extremely helpful and friendly and got the part I needed. Going on two days trying to get someone to return my call. Probably a great company with great products. But it doesn't look like I will ever find out. Four phone calls and no follow up. Customers don't seem to be very important.
