Meat! And no end of it! Every type you can think of and some you wont! Very famous restaurant in Nairobi - basically put the flag down when you have had enough!! The guys keep coming with something new otherwise...great concept - loads of fun - and we were stuffed!!

Being one of the two vegetarians on the table for 5, it was one of my best experience eating out. Even though the place is named carnivore, it has good vegetarian options. Unless you are one of those people who cannot stand the smell of non-veg, you too might enjoy the experience.
Not as wide meat options as Fogo Gaucho and other brazilian restaurants

Come hungry and prepare for a feast. We had the grilled meats platter, it was amazing. We can't wait to return for another feast.... It's a must have while in Nairobi. Highly highly recommend it, plenty of play area for the kids...

Excellent and most enjoyable for wild and domesticated meat eaters. Salad and potatoes can be arranged for vegans and vegetarians.
Went there for my niece's 1st birthday and the nyama was just awesome. Chicken, pork, ostrich.. name it. 5 star all the way.
Only go once to try the new exotic meats. I won't go there if I'm hungry.
Carnivore grounds is one of the best few places in Nairobi that hosts various events in town ranging from stand up comedy to Musical concerts. The venue also has an in-house club where one can just sit, relax, drink and enjoy some cool music of different genres.
It's a meat restaurant! All you can eat meats with excellent service and African ambience.
Very good hospitality and food. Best ostrich one can have. You get feast of crocodiles, turkey, ostrich, ox balls, pork etc. A must place if you are in Nairobi. For vegetarians also you have pretty decent options.

Tamarind Tree....calm, lovely place to just chill away from the noisy hangouts. Their cocktails are excellently done and they have happy hour Monday to Friday from 6-8pm!
Best place to go to if you are a carnivore. Ostrich, Turkey. Rabbit, crocodile, apart from the regular beef, lamb, pork etc. Service is good, friendly and courteous. Must visit.

The Carnivore's food is good, very good. The service was a little slow, but the food was good.
It's a heaven for meat eaters, they used to serve meat of zebra, ostrich, crocodile etc when I had visited this place 10 years ago, though I m vegetarian I do not know personally about the food there, but others who accompanied us enjoyed it a lot... Now I am here in Nairobi again after 10 years I haven't been to this place yet...so don't know. Much...

It is a rather expensive place for the quality you're getting. All is focussed around rushing you away from the table ASAP. We arrived at 8pm and left at 930pm. Almost all tables were already empty. This is a real dissatisfier over the expected experience when you talk to local people about this place. Also quality of meat preparation varies too much.

Creativity of the setting is very good but they have the slowest service ever! We sent the wait staff to get our drinks, he came back half an hour later asking us what we ordered. It happened so many times we just had to work with the manager.

Carnivore is great for music and fun. When I was there I enjoy3d their speciality lamb. It was well done. The staff is friendly right from the gate. One of Kenya's finest establishments.

Went there with some friends for the first time but they dont have all different meat types n salad is served just a little on small plates in the table. I've been to fogo gaucho n they've plenty of meat varieties and self service fruits n salad. I'll prefer fogo gaucho than carnivore.
