Best place for exotic meats in Nairobi.
A beast of a feast!

I was with my person, all else seemed irrelevant. The choma beef is worth remembering though .

I did the 'all you can eat' option at the restaurant. Wow. Absolutely stunning from the service to the food to the decor. Never shy on the meats btw and very little focus on starches unlike other places I've heard. Seasoning perfection is what I thought when we were served incredibly (and surprisingly) delicious exotic meats like ostrich and crocodile and even the normal meats were some of the best I've ever had. Pair this with an array of yummy sauces and veggie options with dessert on top! (Not that we could finish it by that time ) and you got yourself one of the best dining experience ever. Fabulous place guys, really well done

Ps- would not recommend this option for vegetarians . If you don't eat pork don't worry there's millions of delicious alternatives :)

Entertainment arena with lovely live bands, offer food, soft and hard drinks, with guest house.

Classic Kenyan experience. The setup is like a Brazilian steakhouse. Waiters come to the table periodically to serve up whichever game meat is on the menu for that day. Each comes with it's own sauce pairing and side dishes. Make sure you save enough room for dessert. You can try alligator, crocodile, ostrich, ox, beef, lamb, chicken on a regular basis and others seasonally.

Carnivore is a great place if you want to relax with the family and friends. I particularly love it because it is children friendly with great outdoors. Last time I was here, only children were on the dancefloor, at night, which is great because I was also with the baby.

The food is great, try the grills. Superb meat.

The service is not the best, though. The waiters tend to forget your order, or to bring you the bill.

Great food, great play areas for kids. Slightly tourist oriented but the food quality and good service make up for it.

New Jack Swing was amazing. The music was off the hook and our barman Benjamin Kariuki was AWESOME!

Great place for good non veg food. Parking available. Ample security measures taken to keep the place safe. Choice of drinks from the bar available. Good music. Nice place for a cocktail or dinner.

Don't go for the food. Meat was mediocre and the dessert was nearly inedible. Fun decor and the open grill is a nice touch. Very touristy (yes, it has a gift shop), but a must if you just HAVE to know how ostrich or crocodile tastes. Tell them it's your birthday and the entire staff will sing for you!

Talk about overrated... The cool atmosphere in the restaurant, and about US$36 cost, saved it from earning only one star. Otherwise everything was terribly overcooked, dry, chewy. They highlight their sauces which, frankly, shouldn't be necessary if the meats would speak for themselves.

I was out the door within 30 minutes. The server asked if I liked it, and why I was leaving so soon, and though I expressed disappointment and that I was ready to go they sure made sure to charge me full price, even though I'd eaten less than half of what I would have had it been delicious.

If you've ever been to an amazing Brazilian steakhouse that you loved, well, this is not it as hard as they may try. Save your money and go back there next time you can.

Meat lover paradise, they have got all kind of meat crocodile, Bull's ball, ostrich, turkey, chicken, lamb and many more...all Grilled, most famous is crocodile meat and Bull's ball, Nice place to hangout with friends and family. They also have vegetarian dishes and they are fabulous.

Carnivore is one of the most famous and popular event destinations in Nairobi. Just off Langata road, it certainly is easily accessible. It hosts many internationally recognized artists( from Africa and beyond) concerts and festivals. It's diverse as it holds both local and foreign events, both major and small. For wide varieties of meat, especially game meat, it's the place to be. Also has good restaurants with delicacies.

Very good customer service, alot of meat, very convenient. If you visit Kenya carnivore restaurant is a must visit.

Serenity...the inside of Tamarind tree Hotel looks like another world. With Tribal prints and unique pieces of art..privacy is just top. The service there has never failed..I loved it. The atmosphere when you just walk in..perfect. I would go back there many more times.

The Carnivore is 30+ years old. But still excellent. It totally captures the essence of Kenya. Be prepared for painfully high prices though
