James was our host and he was GREAT!
If it will be your first time going here I recommend the Lamb Chops. They are so juicy & tender cooked to perfection.

Made a reservation for father's day at two and kitchen was closed, so the buffet had few choices. Food was cold and flavor was average. Paid $50 for a meal I could have had at iHop for $5 -- certainly not the daddy of all brunches. The buffet should not have closed this early, given that the restaurant closed at three for brunch. If they are not able to fulfill customers' reservations they should not make them available on the website in the first place.

Poor experience. Sad!

Was here for a work event. Great food, service, and atmosphere.

Where to begin? This place is AWESOME. The food is phenomenal, the cocktails are playful, service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is just so fun! You really can t go wrong here.

Shrimp ceviche, pork shoulder, Peruvian chicken, coconut cake... just a few favs.

Check out the times on their website for their shows . Adds a little extra spice to an already great night out!

Perfect spot to wow your date/family/friends with good food and entertainment (usually around 8PM). Drinks are good. I recommend going business casual and relax.

Great place for a family night out or a romantic dinner date. The food is fantastic, the decor was beautiful, and the service was good. My dinning experience here with my family was lovely and magical. I will be coming back

Wow! Wow! Wow! Went on a quiet Tues early evening. Perks are its quieter then. Friday nights are much louder, hard to hear each other, but the aerial performers in main dining room... need I say more?! Delicious food and the servers can make excellent recommendations. Favorites are notable for a reason, they're outstanding. Super cool South American vibe, an absolute MUST GO!

Went here for lunch, the menu is a bit limited compared to their dinner, food was really good, not busy during the week

BEWARE - DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR PROPERTY STOLEN BY THE IDIOTIC VALET WORKERS!!!!!!!!! I WAITED 30 MINUTES IN THE FREEZING RAIN LAST NIGHT FOR MY CAR, TURNS OUT THEY LOST MY TICKET AND I HAD TO FIND MY CAR KEY AMONGST EVERYONE ELSE'S IN THEIR CABINET! THEY DID NOT EVEN VERIFY THAT THE CAR I CHOSE WAS INDEED MY CAR! THEY THEN DEMANDED AN INCREASED RATE FOR PAYMENT, AND WHEN I SAID I DID NOT HAVE ANYMORE CASH ON ME, THE WORKER GUILTED ME SAYING HE WOULD HAVE TO PAY OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET! WHEN I FINALLY ARRIVED HOME, I REALIZED THEY STOLE FROM ME!!!!! I BASICALLY PAID TO HAVE MY PROPERTY STOLEN!!!!!!! THE MANAGER ON DUTY LAST NIGHT - BRETT - WAS NOT HELPFUL AND DID NOT CALL ME BACK LIKE HE SAID HE WOULD! I LEFT MULTIPLE VOICEMAILS FOR THE GENERAL MANAGER WHO NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS OR VOICEMAILS ABOUT REIMBURSING ME FOR MY STOLEN PROPERTY!!!!!!!!!! Great restaurant, food was great, staff was helpful only downside is its expensive.

It was really good food, once we were served. We had reservations for 8:00 p.m. and were informed we need to be there by 8:15 or we would lose the reservation. Also told that the whole party needs to be there to be seated. Well, we were there at 8 and the table wasn t ready for us. By 8:20 we were seated. Didn t get food until 9:00 p.m. The wait time is super ridiculous especially if you have a large group and have ordered according to your tapas group menu. Could have offered some sort of appetizer or chips if the wait was going to be an hour! I didn t like that. Other than things starting off dismal, the food was good! Nothing so spectacular I m dying for it but tasty! The dancing/performances made for great entertainment while dining. All in all, it s a nice place with good food. Needs quicker service though.

The food was okay, the desert was Amazing but the service was horrible. The waitor was very cold and pushy, the hosts were not welcoming either. Not sure if I would come back, I really wanted to like this place.

I've no concern over the place or food or drinks themselves but it is more than annoying to get added to an email solicitation list that you never had anything to do with, never signed up for, have never been to Chicago (not an accident)... We all have enough b.s. in our lives these days and spam from the companies we actually do business with - it's over the top annoying when people spam you who you've never even come close to dealing with or initiated contact with.

This place is absolutely amazing in both atmosphere and food.

Wow the food is awesome. Much better than I expected, I should not have waited so long to try this place.

I visited Carnivale for the first time and I was very impressed. My visit was on a Saturday night and there was live music, samba dancers, and a violinist. The environment was fun, lively and exciting. If you're visiting Chicago you cannot miss coming here. The cocktails were amazing and the food was great. Our server was attentive and very informative. I consider this place a chicago gem. Will definitely be going back many times.

Good food, good drinks, and a fun atmosphere. We listened to a wonderful smooth jazz sax player and watched a talented aerial silks performer. Definitely order the cigar dessert. The presentation alone is worth it!

The good food Selection is immense...The beer selection is okay and the cotton candy drink is the best.

I only tried the place because it was a part of Chicago restaurant week. The food was different but my server was not very nice to me. I did not like his demeanor. He was not very welcoming or pleasant.

Carnivale is a huge latin themed restaurant. The space is large, but inviting. The food is great and the atmosphere is fun. Don't miss this hidden west loop spot.

Visited during lunch. The service was all right. The food appeared to have been pre-cooked and then microwaved before serving. The sauce with vegetables had pieces still cold on the inside. My steak and rice came out cold and the waiter had to take it back to the chef. Upon returning in few minutes it was warmer, but the rice was still lukewarm on the sides and the green sauce on top of the stake had spread over stake like it had been put in the microwave. The dessert was delicious and drinks well poured. If you can improve the quality of food, through "cooked to order", I will consider returning here again.

This is one of the best places for Brazilian food. I took my girlfriend here for Valentines Day. The pineapple ice cream dessert was delicious!

Let me start by saying that the food is fantastic and the ambiance is top notch. I enjoyed my time there, but a few things really set me off. First, we had to wait for our table which we made a reservation for 3 weeks in advance and we were given an awful table. Second, when the hostess finally told us our table was ready, we had to close out our tab at the bar (they encouraged us to go there), and the hostess proceeded to get an attitude and seriously ROLLED HER EYES at me when I told her we d be a minute while we did. The service was lacking. Overall, I was just very unimpressed with the entire experience.

Went today to celebrate a birthday. Tried varies dishes between the group. Not impressed at all. Appetizers were ok, entres were underwhelming, waiter seemed judgement when some of us requested to share a dish and when we didn t order alcohol beverages. Over all the food is overpriced for the quality. I wouldn t go back. At the end wasn t impressed in how they helped us celebrate our friend s birthday. Side note the bathroom in the back smelled like urine. Would give a 1 star but the the rest of the place is beautiful. The bathroom downstairs is the nicer one to go to.

Fun place for fusion food in a vibrant atmosphere. People rave about some of the steak dishes (churrasco) and cocktails (cotton candy martini) - I have found them to be good, solid options, but nothing exemplary for the price. You're really coming here to take in the sights and sounds, and enjoy the people watching.

Very lively vibe, nice decor, and diverse crowd with live performance. However, the food is really mediocre and overpriced. The drinks are pretty bland as well.

Decor is beautiful. Service of a 4 star restaurant. Guacamole and ropa vieja appetizers are great. I personally love the carne asada (or similar dinner plates). I definitely would attend for any special event.
