Anybody that lives in the area knows that this is the best water likely be found anywhere around. Only give it 4 stars rating because I stopped by there the other day with my kids visiting from out of town. We didn't happen to have a big bottle with us so I bought one at the little shop there. I found it $6 for a plastic 1 gallon bottle was a bit high, but got it anyway because my daughter hadn't had the water in an awfully long time. Well the bottle was made very cheaply and it happened to the roll off the picnic table and just shattered. So save your money and don't buy one of their bottles. Staff did give me my money back for the bottle.

Amazing place to grab Alkaline water by the gallon! I've always had to purchase alkaline water from Fresh and Easy by the 32 oz. water bottles, and those can get pricey after a while. Compare to the 3-gallon jugs I get for about the same price, and the water sold here are a STEAL! You can't beat that.

PARKING/HOURS: Depending on your timing, you can either get lucky with parking in front, or having to park across the street (2 spaces across the street are dedicated to Carlsbad Alkaline water customers only). If all are taken, I usually end up waiting for about 2-3 minutes before someone pulls out of their spot. Not too bad. All of the customers are parked just so they can refill their gallons. What's great is their water service is 24-hours, BUT if you need to speak to an employee, they are there only during their hours of operation. I love how it's accessible 24-hours though. I sometimes end up going here really late at night with no problems at all.

WATER QUALITY : Amazing! I love their water here. Anyone reading this who is wondering what alkaline water does for your body, (as opposed to regular drinking water), look it up! The difference is HUGE. I forget the pH level of the water here, but it's consistently silky.

PRICE: They did raise their prices once since my husband and I first started coming here 2 years ago. Filling up a 3-gallon is still cheaper than buying a single bottle of alkaline water elsewhere though. :) Can't beat that price.

LOCATION: My only downside, which really isn't a downside. I live in the Golden Triangle area so it's quite a drive up to Carlsbad Village, but still worth it and not even an issue. I bought several 3-gallon jugs from them (they sell 1-gallon, 3-gallon, and 5-gallon. 5-gallon jugs would be too heavy for me to carry upstairs to my apartment, so I've opted for 4 3-gallon jugs, and 1 1-gallon jug. Because of having this many, I don't really have to make too many trips to this place. Only when they're all empty, or I'm down to the last jug. :)

WATER PORTIONS: The machines pour out the water in either 1-gallon, 3-gallons, and 5-gallons. There's also an ozone rinse you do before you refill your jugs. Since it's all computerized, there've been times when my 3-gallon water purchase will literally overflow to what feels like 3.5 gallons, so err on the side of caution when it's about to reach the top. I close the plastic door shut just in case it does. Other times, it'll be just right. And a few times, it seems to be missing about a quarter gallon more, but I leave it alone. There has been a customer who's complained about this while I was there (minding my business, but can't help to eavesdrop because they were complaining to the employee really loud). Eh. I digress. It's ALKALINE WATER! I love it here, so I can't complain.

My rating is more of a question. Since the new drilling was completed 8-2017 it seems the water does not have the same crispness that it did before. Anybody? Have they made some new testing to the water as compared before the new drilling? Are there now more particulate, or more parts per million with the impurities? I got some more water this morning. All I can say is it is different now, like the water is softer, and not crisp. I am wondering WHY? Please let us know whats going on. Thanks.

EVERYTIME I am in the area, I ALWAYS stop here for water. And not just a little water. I purposefully bring multiple empty gallon jugs and fill them up here. The water is so absolutely refreshing and clean. Not to mention ALL of the health benefits that come from drinking Alkaline water. I wish we lived closer to Carlsbad so we could have constant access to this water whenever we want or need. Down in SoCal, I noticed that Costco sells this water (at a highly inflated price), unfortunately however, up here in NorCal, they do not sell it or even stock it at all. Even with an inflated price, I would still buy it. Best water I have ever tasted.

Cool

Seems like they are just selling out to make money. I thought selling at Sprouts and Costco was iffy. Then I saw major sell out when I saw their water at Wal-mart. Are they in that much need of money to be selling out to Wal-mart.

And then a couple days afterwards they raise the price 14.29% from .70 to .80 cents.

My friend says two years ago it was at .60 cents then they put a cardboard sign saying .70. My friend says they then raise the price up to .80 faster than they can get a sign.

Im considering getting my own water distiller. As that is natures way of getting the most pure water. Also Qi Gong masters and Chinese medicine recommemds Distilled water over mineral, spring/aquifer water as those are inorganic minerals which your body wont absorb and will build up in the body.

Plus when I drink this water im.always thirsty. Plus your own distilled water tastes better.

These guys have a water Monopoly and there is no sign that they help the community with charity in any way. And they must be rich, looking at the prices and traffic and no over head.

Also I wonder if it has been lab tested, see if they are chemicals and inorganic minerals in the water.

best tasting water ever and the prices are fair. No fluoride or additives; even boil our noodle and fill our Keurig. Their mineral water has fixed my kids stomach pains. Just wish that was cheaper at $5 a gallon, little pricey but their regular water is so good.

Famous for a reason. The water is amazing. Seriously busy during the day though, so I go late at night. I accept the price increase because it's obvious they focus on the upkeep of the establishment and equipment, and highly value quality and service. Landmark with history going far back, but just as relevant and well maintained today.

Only water worth filling up five gallon jugs. Be careful with their all glass jugs I ve had a few break from rattling off each other. It s best to build a custom carrying box if you travel with these as a tip.
