Great variety, nice helpful staf... a bit pricy but so worth it...

Being from little italy if boston we have some great bakeries, but this by far was the best strawberry shortcake ever..Wish my son git to actually meet his friend buddy his childhood idol.

Honestly pretty good. No way it could live up to the rediculous expectation I put on it..lol.

A dream Come true. If you visit New York dont miss it

I was in NY (Times Square) and it was my first time in NY. So, for me it was so exciting visiting Carlo's Bakery. I went 3 times and ordered cannolis. These were good but the service was SO BAD. Long lines and the 3 times only one cashier, so this was wasted time. I sat with my husband on a broken table, I couldn't belive it. My husband told me never come back. We are very disappointed. I thought it would be a good experience but it was not.
You need to improve service, you need 2 cashiers!!!

I do not recommend visiting your bakery

Everything was amazing from the strawberry cheesecake to the cannolis. Everyone was really nice and friendly.

My visiting family from Italy specifically requested to come to this bakery. I was so impressed with the staff's patience and willingness to answer all of our questions. The bakery is immaculate and everything we ordered was delicious! Thank you for the great experience!

Amazing bakery. Every time I come here for cake and pastries they are always amazing. Whether if the line is long or short the cakes and pastries in my opinion are so worth it. They look great and they taste great. Also if you are lucky you might meet Buddy like I did one time I came here. He is a very nice person.

It was a dream come true to be there although I could not see Bady if they were Maurizio and all Bady's sisters. Wonderful the beautiful pastry the cakes are a delight.

I haven't visited her yet but I'll be there soon and since the biscuits look so delicious I would like to eat one of each one

Was sooo awesome to visit the Carlos featured on tlc. Very exciting to be able to get some pastries from cake boss's Carlos bakery Hoboken! Not as big as it looks on tv but it was still awesome!

My daughter is very inspired to be in pastry maker like: Buddy valastro

Went there because I was in the area and had to be a tourist. Lobster tails were amazing. Carrot cake was also very good.

There was no line and everything was delicious. As soon as you walked in the door, it smelled like cat urine. It was pretty sickening. I'm glad I finally got to see it because of cake boss, but I wouldn't come here regularly if I lived nearby.

I loved the fast service and quality of our pastries. I finally fir the first time came to NJ and decided to visit Hoboken. I saw one of Buddy's sisters (Grace) and wished I would have asked for a picture. When visiting NJ; I will always stop here.

They renovated it in the early 2010 maybe so they have more space up front and several cash registers. Lots of pastries, cookies, cupcakes, cakes, souvenirs and more to choose from.

I never been their but I either really want work there or I really want a cake from them

Went during a slow time, had a great experience. Smells great and lots of great presentation. Yum!

This bakery has a nostalgic neighborhood feel. The coffee, the friendly staff and the pastries are a real treat.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our road trip. It was super cool being here but we were both so disappointed with the cupcakes we bought. They were so dry and the cookies were okay. We both expected more considering how big you guys are. I wouldn t buy again.

There's a lot of hype for this place so I had to check it out. The desserts were good, not great and a bit pricey. I kind of wish they had a better selection too. And so far it's been busy almost every time I attempted to go.

Such a pity they've grown so big that the familia no longer have time for the original bakery. Sad.

What a wonderful bakery heard lots of hype about this bakery. When entering to the bakery you can smell the freshly baked goodness of their pastries. Staffs and super nice and friendly. Perfect espresso!

Ok, the pastries are excellent. My complaint? The "I dont give a F***" teenager behind the counter(night time). They appeared not to understand what I was asking for, had no clue of their products and gave me the wrong order. Again, the pastries are excellent but PLEASE improve the customer service.

Great little detour to Hoboken who drank the prone. Ferry to cross to NY has some steps and very nice clean small town offering a great view of NY

After watching this show on TV I couldn t wait for the time I would travel across the ocean and visit this place! Well that excitement died as fast as I stepped into the shop. When I got in line to buy something staff was very unwelcoming to me, and it took me a few minutes to get a staff member when I was at the front of the line. After this struggle, I decided to buy a piece of carrot cake. Finally, after years of watching the show I would finally experience the magical taste! But as I put the carrot cake into my mouth I was not impressed. Honestly tasted like it was old, and tasted like a run down bakery cake that you could get from any shop in your hometown. I regret even stepping into this shop. Also their is almost not a lot of seating within the shop and if your coming with a family, good luck trying to get a place to sit. Overall, I would never come back to this place again.

Beautiful to see the first store (the original) that Buddy inherited from his father when he was only 17 years old.
He often works there or in the second store, always in New Jersey, which is bigger. If you go to visit him, ask him about him because he works in the back and - in the opinion of our driver Uber - is available to be photographed. We unfortunately we knew when we left.
The desserts are the American ones, all-cream high cakes; quality of medium pastry.
5-star rating for the public figure it represents.

Horrible experience food was very average and not worth the price nor wait time. Wouldn't recommend to be completely honest

I'm sure everything here is next level but I love their dark chocolate mousse and chocolate eclair

They are not very friendly, the prices are somewhat high but the desserts are very rich, the truth is the canolis without a doubt the best but I repeat at $ 9 each one was expensive.

Very bad service new stuff take forever to prepare ur order after u pay for it...(that part go very fast)
And also i can believe that they can afford clean uniforms for the cadhiers the lady have very old and nasty hoddie...she its supposed to be the face of the store and look like a hobo...

Expected a whole lot. The red velvet cake is one of the worst I have ever had. The lobster tail and chocolate mousse are their saving grace.

AMAZING !! Their canolie are so amazing ! The shell was crunchy and their canolie cream was so smooth and light. Their moose cheese cake with the strawberry on top was absolutely wonderful ! Light and airy! Wasn t heavy on the stomach! I came all the way from buffalo ny to try it the 6/7 hour ride was soooooo worth it !

Fat buddy's flab was supposed to be eating fritrippe with angelici

We went to see the shop but it was a disappointment! The pastry shop has little choice and is very expensive. In a city like Rome they are much better. For two chocolates accompanied by two pastries we spent $ 25. Even the clerks are not the best of friendliness! Starting at the World Trade Center, an additional $ 5.50 per head must be added. Ultimately I recommend you spend your time and money on something else!

Hello enberdad I am a big fan of cake boss and always wanted to go to the bakery or make it. Cawana would be a dream come true for me and try a canoli more than anything I always love watching your program I am one of the biggest fans of your program your cakes I love everything and your sisters are fun and of course they always bother you haha <3

We came on the right day and time. Got right in the door. Staff super friendly and helpful. Delicious!!!
