Carhartt Work In Progress Review

I wish there were a few more offerings like branded appeal that were only available in the store. But, long story short, it's Cathartt so it kicks butt!

Pam is a gem, the store is lucky to have her. She greeted us, gave us a history on the brand, informed us of specials and rewards. Even remembered our names to say bye as we were leaving. Store associates were extremely helpful and worked together well. Although they hovered a lot because it was slow and there were less customers. But they couldn t have been more helpful and kind! Prices are awesome, better than expected. Thanks Pam!

Not the cheapest location for Carhartt but always the newest collections available.

My husband has worn carhartt forever and in really cold weather under harsh conditions. They have a full line of extended sizes and more than what you find in other stores that just carry their line. The staff know their products and are extremely helpful. There were more pieces in the stockroom to help me outfit my 6 6 broad shouldered guy.

Fits well, wears well. Years in fact.

Kids clothing, women and a small line of nice pet accessories are also in this store.

High quality clothes and a very helpful staff. People complain about what they perceive to be "high prices" because it's more expensive than Walmart and the other mass quantity importers. If you want something superior to Dickies and Walls, this is the place. Shop local, not in Bentonville, AR.

Ha, people and their 'secured' parking. My goodness! It's Cass Ave. sandwiched between New Center and Mid-town...a lot has changed since the recession (though more is still to be done). If you're coming from out of town go enjoy yourself and don't worry park and relish your visit. Detroiters are some of the most welcoming and resilient people on the planet. Just smile, even if you don't get a smile back, have fun and remember to give thanks! Thanks Carhartt for another reason to love this city!

This is the MAIN Carhartt store in Detroit. Very rugged, classic entrance.

Great store with a wide range of selections for any Carhartt lover. There is also free parking in the back, which is very rare to come by in Midtown Detroit. This store is always clean, well stocked, and has friendly staff. If you re looking to support Detroit businesses, this is definitely one I would recommend to anyone.

I walked in the store looking to the right I know this a lady was helping a customer I appreciate it to walk in the store and a gentleman walked past me who work there his name is George I kept looking for my item and I couldn't find it I found another gentleman who was helping a lady size her dog for a vest as I looked around another gentleman walked past me after being in the store for 7 minutes away lady walked up to me and asked me and anyone greeted me I told her no one had greeted me but I had flag George down to help me the manager then came out and he helped find the coat that I was looking for when the store is not totally crowded and you have three sales people walking around somebody should greet you say hello welcome to the store or something even though the manager was extremely nice and the lady who help me setup my account with nice I don't think you should walk in any business and have to search for help I hope it wasn't because of the color of my skin

Love Carhartt clothes and cool decor in the store. Main problem is very limited stock in store: Very few items actually came in my size (XL)... lots of Small and 2+XL

This place is the greatest! The staff here always goes above and beyond to mke sure you get what you need. If what you're looking for isn't in store, they'll have it at your doorstep within days. Also shout out to Davey for the exclusive!

The employees were very helpful and friendly! I had numerous transactions since I had a return and order, purchase, and order of remaining items. Naria and Davey were great!

Most stores that are authorized dealers of carhartt have very little selection and are very expensive. It was awesome to go to the carhartt store because there was so many sizes and selection. The prices were cheaper than any carhartt retailer I have ever been to. The staff was friendly and helpful. For those who may think that going to go to a store in Detroit is going to be a hassle like I did will be wrong. Thay even have their own parking garage and the store is clean and well maintained. I will be back for many more visits!!

They don t carry waist sized over 42. Drove 40 minutes to get here for nothing. The store is really small and there is almost no parking. Really unhappy that in order to get pants here I can t even try them on first. Duluth trading co carries up to size 50 in the store. I won t buy carhartt.

Love this store, lots to choose from. Need a few more big and tall items for us bigger guys.

They don't have a lot of winter clothes as I thought. I found better things at amazon

Awesome to go to the flagship Carhartt store. A pretty cool informational board with the company's history when you walk in.

Store is smaller than I thought but lots of unique and Detroit related Carhartt stuff. Stocked up on stickers! Badass mural on the side of the building, too.

Prices could be better, service is good, check out system is always an issue

Very helpful staff! We got what we came in for and were in and out in 15 min.

Tons of stuff that you cant find at other stores. Kids stuff too, but because of the weather and the holidays they didn't have much. Very little kids selection!

First trip out to the brick and mortar. They have their own monitored parking structure with easy access into the store just feet away. You enter from inside the structure. Very cool. Well staffed and alot of variety. We're going back next weekend.

Impressed with how much inventory they have. Came in today to look for a couple hoodies and to see if they would have the Yukon Extreme overalls in my size, they had the exact hoodie I wanted but didn't have my size in the overalls. Not a big deal, I can order my overalls online. My wife was pleasantly surprised how large their women's selection was. The employees working were all very helpful and knew exactly when to ask you if you needed help. I definitely want to return later this winter for more hoodies.

Poor selection, didn't have stuff in many sizes, some items look like they've been dragged across a dirty floor. A lot of dust and lint on many of the items. Wanted a jacket and a rain coat, left empty handed. This place was a big disappointment.

Favorite brand of clothes by far, great to be able to go in the store and actually try things on and not have to guess when ordering from a website. Outstanding quality and a great staff.

Staff is great and helpful. I needed to replace my coat for the winter season and was able to find something that fit very well. Women's selection was a bit on the small size and opted for a mens water repellent zip up hoodie instead if a women's, as this was not available, and a women's hodded jacket. As a plus, I was able to get some wool blend moisture wicking four pack socks. Good prices as it was about two hundred twenty dollars. They had their own free parking structure for Carhartt customers only who's hours are the same as the store. I would recommend this place as it was just off of the freeway and you will not have to pay shipping and try things on, as compared to online shopping.

Quality and mostly decently priced clothes that will probably last longer than their owner ;)

I love that I can shop for clothing in Detroit, rather than traveling to the suburbs or taking a chance with an online purchase.

I love Carhartt. I bought my father's Christmas present there and his birthday present there and he loved them I bought him a short sleeve shirt for summer and a long sleeve shirt for winter and he said that they are absolutely comfortable and great to wear. I love my Carhartt coat it keeps me warm and it's very lightweight.

Carhartt enough said best work gear on the planet and now that they're making casual wear just can't get enough I'll go to spot love them to see them in the city of Detroit where it all started

Nice place but everything is made in china or Mexico. Not exactly the "american" company Carhartt claims to be.

Well organized, helpful staff, and easy parking. The store has a great selection of Carhartt products: clothes, bags, hats, shoes, dog beds, etc.

Great store all around. Friendly staff, well stocked with a good variety of styles and all the sizes. Parking is a bonus. The store doesn't have many sales but it doesn't matter because carhartt is a good value at retail price.

Xavier was a great sales person! Store was crazy busy & he went outra his way to try find a different size jacket for my Boyfriend.

I called this morning asking if they had infant/toddler hats. The man on the phone told me he had some blue toddler hats in stock. My husband and I drove an hour to get to the Carhartt store only to find out they only had youth size hats. We asked a worker if they had any infant/toddler hats and were told No, we haven t had any of those in stock since before Christmas. I also checked the website which showed they were in stock in the store as well. Very disappointed and a wasted trip!

Very neat & clean with exceptional customer service

Parking in the parking deck is horrible. Store is very small. They have some stuff but dont expect them to have what you are looking for. Not a lot of the actual winter work wear.
