Trying to get unemployment for almost 2 months. I was laid off because of Covid 19. My employer was verified, I also submitted the layoff letter from the company, and all now I can t get unemployment. How do they expect us to survive? We are unemployed because of a nationwide pandemic. Why are we being punished???

I WILL NEVER apply for the cash assistance again.. i never got my clothing voucher, i got a job had it for 6 months!! smh. now they sanction me. i was fine till i applied for cash.. and had to be in the program here.. the whole time i was uncomfortable, the program have so many FLAWS what a waste of time! how its set up.. i just wanted cash assistance for 2 months..my goodness. now im sanction for up to 6 months?? wow :(

Dorothy was very helpful in assisting me with revising my resume. The Resume Workshop was very useful and helpful in learning about what employers are looking for. The staff overall seemed very helpful with providing assistance with applying for unemployment benefits.

If it wasn't for the help my daughter got from the two employees there, she probably would have walked out. The aggravation trying to sign up for unemployment for the few dollars that FL gives you, definitely isn't worth the stress. Thankfully she was able to get the help she needed.

Complete waste of time! The state really needs to cut funding and shut this scam down. Not just this location, but the entire organization. It doesnt benefit anyone.

Save your self the headace. The whole program needs to be revamped. So disorganized and the gate keeper dosent know how to talk to people she is so rude then laugh it off like it's funny. They themself needs training. So not professional. But the elc lady my new success coach Ms. West is so nice and professional.

A BUNCH OF LAIRS! Promised me support services if I followed the program which I did. They made me go into their offices 4x at times when they knew I had to work and each time didn't provide what they promised until my case was closed. The 1st time I went they told me the lady wasn't there. The 2nd time they canceled the appointment as I was parking! The 3rd time they only gave me a little even though they knew I was coming in. The last appointment they scheduled on the 30th and when I was sick and tried to reschedule they said the case is closed. They're rude, sloppy, and very unorganized. not worth going to.

The entire staff is helpful and works hard to get the help you need. Mrs. Carter, Ms. Valerie, Mr. G, Ms West, Ms. Ridriguez and Ms. Sanders helped me tremendously in getting the desperately needed help..You can tell they are not just there for a paycheck but truly enjoy what they do by helping people. Plenty of assistance, customer service sucks... Horrible. But overall a great place

My supervisor here is very nice... However every time I step inside the receptionist always rolls her eyes at me and ask me to step aside to whisper nonsense about my cloths. Every once is very rude and seems to dislike their job. For the past 3 times I have walked in the receptionist "whispers" to other coworkers of hers about me. Its very rude especially when she mentioned the color of my skin while "WHISPERING" ( The place is extremely quite you can hear everything). I do not appreciate it but I have not mentioned anything to anyone because I do not want my case to be closed but the fact that I heard her mention the color of my skin is quite frankly, disgusting. I no longer feel comfortable entering this building.

Absolutely incredible what Florida puts its residents through as they go through the most troubling times of their lives, making the unemployment process impossible to complete. No one answers the phone. No one responds. No one calls back. There is no help. It's a hamster wheel going no where but frustration. THIS system should be illegal. Citizens were promised help during this pandemic. Where's the help? On the phone auto message, it blames all of this on "We are receiving the most calls we have ever received..." so don't expect help.... This excuse is not acceptable. HIRE PEOPLE TO ANSWER THE PHONE!

If I give this place 0 stars I would. It was a complete waste of time going there. They claim they don t deny anyone but will deny you and tell you that s just the way things are . They made me waste two hours of my life and having to get a babysitter for my son, only to come to the office and tell me because I don t want to do sales anymore. They will not help me. I will highly recommend others to not go there unless you want to waste your time.

They did let me use the fax machine to fax my mileage to the school board for home and hospital based ESE program (school still hasn't paid me for mileage.. 11 months later.. Broward County public school system) and to fax some papers to food stamp program for my son, but I find it so crowded for computer resource room most of the time, to me, it's mostly a waste of time to even stop in there. Years ago I went through the PPN program and it helped me get a great job but that was in 1997... since then none of the programs has helped me in any way to get work. I did take some computer classes through a grant program which was a nice introductory program but I didn't feel prepared enough to try actually working in an office with just introductory classes through PC Professor, especially as an older worker. I ended up taking a nurses aide program on my own and that got me some work. As an older worker, it's a whole different ballgame.

Horrible staff they need to adjust their attitudes just a waste of time to go here save yourself the trouble and skip this place

This place is laughable. Our tax dollars goes to pay the salaries of these employees and they cannot help find work at all.

Printing is a minimum of 5 pages. Per Person per day. I have 30 resumes to send out. How is this possible to be able to assist those in need to print. Go elsewhere?!

Looking to find test ReadytoWork. Sorry we don't offer that. The closest place is in Orlando. If searched, it can be taken ACROSS THE STREET at Atlantic Technical Center.

These employees are a waste of time. I had to help other individuals there to show them how to use chrome to print as a pdf. They didn't know. Garbage employees produce garbage results. You have better luck on craigslist.

I was not impressed with the staff . . It seemed just a bit unorganized and sloppy. Time is money and money is time. I reside not far from that location and was sent to Weston for a pay rate of $8.05 hourly which economically makes no sense. Had I known what the pay rate was I never would have went. . . My fault and valuable lesson learned. . . always ask that question before taking on a job.

Although it comes up as an unemployment office, it's not. Also, there's a lack of great customer service skills
