I had a meeting with Kate, an account manager at Chamber Training about Apprenticeships. I was doing some research for my friend s daughter who wanted to leave the course she was attending and take place on an Apprenticeship. Kate gave me lots of information and guidance and invited her to attend the forthcoming open day so she could have a 1-to-1 chat with her. I would recommend Chamber Training as the team is really friendly, knowledgeable and more than happy to help in any way they can.

Waste of time to be honest.

Waste of time to be honest.
After I applied for it on Indeed, They emailed me about an apprentice introduction interview.
I took the time out of my day to travel there as well as spent money on travel to get there. Upon getting there and having to wait 20-30 mins all I was told was "We have no vacancies in IT"
"You wont get an IT Apprenticeship with anyone"
"You should instead go for a different sector such as a Business Admin Apprenticeship, even if you don't like it"
Mainly things in which she was trying to get me to no longer consider an IT apprenticeship even though that's the sector I am going for and have done half an apprenticeship in beforehand and enjoyed.

Overall everything with this place was horrible. Location. Service. Wait Times. Logic (Instead of asking me to come in just to say there's no vacancies and waste my time in the process, A phone call would have done like many other training providers).

Definitely don't recommend this place and based off the reviews from people who were successful yet still had their time wasted, No one should even consider this place.

Edit (15/2/2019) : I went to a different training provider and they were able to find tons of vacancies related to IT for me in which CWCT failed to find and said chances I'll find one are next to none.

having a staff member assigned to you sounds great, but when that person only works 1 day a week and then ignores you for the rest of the time it seriously hurts progress. Also having your lessons needed to complete the work be delayed by 6 months wasn't helpful. It would have really been better if i went elsewhere

Everything was good until my interview with Kate. I honestly have never met another human being who'd make me feel so insecure. I don't even know why they gave her such important job when she makes you feel so unwelcome. Also, it didn't work out. They only got me one interview and stopped contacting me after that.
