I was employed at CareOne Evesham for exactly one ...

I was employed at CareOne Evesham for exactly one year. At the time of my hire in October, 2017, I really felt like I had found my home as a nurse for the remainder of my career. Sadly, this was not to be. I have been a nurse for 4 years and I love every aspect of patient centered care because if not for the patients I would be unemployed. I pride myself on the connections that I have made with many of my patients and families. Having a loved one admitted into any healthcare facility is a difficult decision to make, and it s my duty to make the transition a somewhat smooth one. The staff who I worked with on a regular basis have become friends outside of the workplace. My decision to vacate my employ was due to unsafe nursing practices which continually made it difficult for me to want to go to work there everyday because I felt my license was in jeopardy and the patients well being was not considered. I felt management is and was not invested in hearing and/or knowing what the employees needs were. Working on the SAR (Rehab) unit is a high paced environment and the patients there are very sick so attentiveness to their needs should be of utmost importance. Staff to patient ratios are unrealistic and unsafe! Recognition for staff productivity and longevity are overlooked! The medical director is a bully and her staff follows suit! Bottom line... I would not recommend this place for employment and that is sad because the actual rehab department is excellent, the staff nurses are qualified but overwhelmed and overextended which causes frustration for them, the patients and the families! Unless and until CareOne Evesham ownership and management really decide to take these negative comments seriously and investigate and resolve these issues, then I fear they will continue to live up to its horrible reputation that it has gained in the community.

Happy employees make for a positive patient experience! TM

This place is horrible. They let patients sit in soiled diapers and linens. Our loved one got 1 shower in the month she was there. She's been left on the toilet for almost an hour. She couldn't even get towels and wash cloths to bath herself. Her bed doesn't get made. Even with multiple requests. This is just a small example of the lack of care at this place.

I came into this place unable to walk when it was time to go home I walked out with a walker.. I am so thankful for all the staff and nurses and cnas for all they did for me and my grandpop whom also was in there care.

Is it possible to leave less than one star? Leaving my mother on wet and soiled bed sheets for the entire night after numerous requests to change them...you should be ashamed, Care One. Learn a little bit about human compassion before moonlighting in business of it.

I work here in the housekeeping department don't be fooled by all the beautiful videos and all the ratings that you see on here most likely all come from either the staff or someone that has not been in the smaller building I don't know how the bigger building works but in the small one I have seen some abuse I cry myself to sleep almost every night because I think about those poor elderly people in longterm call bells go off almost the time and the CNA just ignore them I have been in rooms where some elderly have gone to the bathroom on them selves because of the CNA just not wanting to attend them where there is a woman in our department her name is Ann she is the housekeeper for longterm cleans the toilet with a rag and then uses it on the bedside table where the food trays go on and she calls the residents names and and curses at them calls this one patient a piss Lady because she pisses on the floor and the man curses at them this place should not be up the way that it is it should be closed down its just so terrible the other building is beautiful and clean but the longterm and rehab one I just feel so bad for the patients I would never put my parents in a nursing home no matter what....

My father was at this facility at the end of his l...

My father was at this facility at the end of his life. Dad had an LVAD, which is a heart pump inside his chest and a driveline coming out of his stomach and connected to a monitor and machine to power the machine. Dad had very little mobility when he arrived. He could barely hold a cup and sip from a straw.

1. His button to the nurse s station did not work, so they gave him a bell to ring.

2. During a sterile procedure to change his driveline bandage, a nurse left the room. Translation: she contaminated the sterile environment, greatly raising the chance for infection.

3. An anchor bandage meant to take the weight off his driveline in the event his monitor fell was never engaged on at least two occasions, causing the line to pull at the site where it enters his body and made the site bleed. I was told the anchor bandage was engaged and must have come undone. I was trained by Penn Presbyterian on how to care for my Dad s LVAD needs and have no doubt the anchor was never engaged..

4. On numerous occasions Dad s legs were dangling off the bed. Being connected to a machine from your stomach would have been nothing less than a painful death for Dad if he had slid completely off the bed and to the floor.

5. After asking the nurse manager to put rails up on Dad s bed so he wouldn t try to slide his legs out, I was told it was against NJ law. After pressing him (for what may have been a minute) he finally admitted he didn t know if it was NJ law, but passed the buck to his supervisor, saying she told him it was law. When asked if he knew which law to which his supervisor was referring, he did not. Two minutes earlier he was quick to tell me it was law. What a difference a few well placed questions make.

6. I came in the day after asking the nurse manager about rails for Dad s bed. When I arrived, Dad s legs were hanging off the bed and the machine powering his heart was hanging about halfway off the dresser on which it sat.

7. I could go on, but will end it with this: On the morning of 9 March 2018, at approximately 8:43am, I received a phone call from CareOne, Evesham. I was told that my father had expired. Like ground chuck or yogurt, my Dad had expired. I will never forget those words.

Now CareOne will respond with a message saying how they are devoted to the care of our loved ones. Save it. Talk to your staff. Save other families the emotional stress and drop your LVAD facility status until your staff is able to handle these delicate patients. Offer unsolicited care. We shouldn t have to tell you what to do.

It was my first time being in a rehabilitation facility. Hats off to the admissions department who was very welcoming. The aids who were with me throughout my stay were always very responsive when I needed something. Due to my medical conditions my diet was a challenge but the kitchen staff was so accommodating. I loved omelet station on friday mornings. Physical therapy department was incredible and got me up and moving in no time.

Worked at this facility for eight years in housekeeping and when I first started working here I loved it. However after they fired one of the best environmental supervisors, needless to say the department and the place sucks They hired numerous people who left due to being over worked and not wanting to pay more for the work they wanted done. The department alone went through numerous housekeeping supervisors who turned out to fail in the end. Not having enough staff daily was a huge load on the consistent workers who worked mon-Friday & weekends. The current supervisor whom is very rude & feels he has the right to talk disrespectfully to his staff is horrible(to say the least) him or his assistant would help when staffing was short.neither do they know how to properly sanitize and room or etc. i still have proof of a room that was to be clean by the now supervisor Craig in which after he claimed he had cleaned the room it still was disgusting. Give this job a two stars only because SOME of the staff grew like family to me. However there needs to be better communication throughout the entire building.& housekeepers need to be treated better and not looked upon as least important. Lisa is a great one along with some nurses and the therapy department is great. However,You have housekeeper who have worked at this job for 15yrs+ leave due to the current state it is in smh. Careone needs to do BETTER!!!!

My mother was admitted to CareOne for rehab after a fall at home. The staff was welcoming from the moment she entered the faciilty to the day she was discharged. The nurse, Michelle, always visited my mom with a smile. The rehab department was wonderful.

Care One Evesham is excellent! The aids and nurses were in and out of the patients rooms regularly. The staff was very helpful and kind when asked a question. I had a semi private room, it was very clean and I became friends with my roommate because they did a great job pairing me with someone compatible.

The pics look lovely and the liaison is so well spoken and talks up the place one would think it was the ideal place for your loved one....AVOID AVOID AVOID. My mother was brought there for therapy/rehab following bypass surgery. Within the first 2 hours, another patient entered her room and urinated on a bed. Needless to say my loved one didnt feel safe there. Decided it was best for my mom to get out of there.

I couldn t be happier with the care I received. The nurses were very nice and patient. Therapy I got was good. I was able to have visitors and we had a lot of places to sit. The food was very tasty and I felt like they did a good job. I liked my doctor there and I was as able to see many doctors in the building instead of going out to appointments. I went home feeling much better.

If I could give a zero I would. SOME of the staff is caring, only some. My sister was there for 1.5 years. She went from bad to worse. I wouldn't bring my dog here. They are so so so short staffed its sad. You smell urine as soon as you enter the hallway. They bring in mentally ill patients that need special care, this facility is not equipped to handle those people. It's all about the $. They take in what they can. All night you will hear people hollering help, I don't want to die. One woman was calling someone some pretty nasty names, I went to her door and she was talking to someone in the ceiling. No one is there to comfort her, they don't have time for that. She's in the wrong type of facility. If long distance family members only knew, I'm sure they would remove their loved one. We were there just about everyday, we saw a lot, we heard a lot Its very very sad. I would never never never never recommend this place.Ever

This place was absolutely horrible. If i had the option to give 0 stars then that's what I would have rated this place. When i was transferred there from the hospital, I was placed in my room and not acknowledged for 2 1/2 hours. Then finally a nurse came in and introduced herself. Within the 3 weeks that I was there, the place stayed filthy. I had to continue to request that my room be cleaned properly byh housekeeping. The next issue was that I fell and waited on the ground between the bed and the wall upside down for 6 minutes exactly. Of course I rang the bell but absolutely NO ONE came. Mind you I have a broken leg. So I did my best to shimmy up the wall and used the bed, using both for balance. There a few other things that I can't speak about that took place at this very unorganized place, but this place should be shut down.. I also left out that the nurses and aides(not all but some) had really NASTY attitudes and conducted themselves at times in a very unprofessional manner. Honestly, me personally, I wouldn't send my DOG there let alone a family member. I have no reason to make this up, so before u chose to send a loved one there, strongly consider another choice.. You will appreciate this heads up later, trust and believe..

Horrible!!!! Nearly killed my father. Horrible nursing staff and management. They left my father for 3 hours before they changed his pissed on clothes. They manipulate you to stay for your own good thinking you are better off. Total disfunction. They overmedicated my father and then dehydrated him. Took another 12 hours to get iv and several people to do it. No quality. Left his roomate for over 6 hours in smelly diaper. Get your family members out of there.

I wanted so badly to give Careone a better rating ...

I wanted so badly to give Careone a better rating because some of the staff members are beautiful people and hardworkers but unfortunately people do not go to these type of facilities just for good people. My justification for the low rating is as follows:

1. It took almost a month to get my son a wheelchair and when it came he couldn't use it unless we were there because it didn't fit properly. So he remained in the bed for weeks!
2. It took almost a month to get him a shower stretcher. We were told the facility never had one and we had to have several conversations before they would purchase one but they did purchase one thanks to the DON
3. They left my son, who has a TBI, in a jerry chair, in the hallway without his helmet (he has missing bone flap so helmet is madatory) on and unattended. A family member found him sliding off the chair and biting his lip.
3. Dr Drucker is unprofessional never spoke to us except to try to explain why our sons trach was knocked out and I watched her speak demeaningly to her staff. (Note we changed doctors and never heard from that Dr either.)
4. Meds were randomly discontinued when there was a clear need and orders from specialist were ignored.
5. Extremely short staffed, our son developed a groin rash from sitting wet and sometimes sitting in bowl movements for prolonged periods of time. A few times it was at least 4 hours, my husband and I have ended up changing him at times.
6. Communication is non existent! They never called me when his trach was knocked out or when he had a fever. The DoN eventually tried to remedy this but lack of communication continued between shifts.
7. Our son had an elective surgery to get his skull flap put back in and within hours they gave away his bed. They all knew we planned to return, he had a room full of pics, clothes, books, electronics. They had his belonging in boxes and liquid poured out of the box labeled electronics, thanks careone. No one called us or had any conversation with us that they planned to take his room. This was so unprofessional and appalling. It left our son stuck at the ICU with no place to return. He is 20 and only 3 facilities were willing to help him due to his age and injury. That being said as I write this I realize they did him a favor because he deserves better care until we can bring him home.

If you decide to have your loved one go here please understand they have huge communication gaps and are very short staffed.

I just want to thank Care One Evesham for helping my family. My mom needed rehab after being in the hospital for a few weeks and they were wonderful. They are very professional and respectful from admissions all the way to the cleaning staff. Thank you.

Don't ever work here. Did one shift through agency and will never go back, NEVER. This facility does not believe in patient centered care. They swamp nurses with unsafe and unbelievable ratios. If you are a nurse and value your license I would highly suggest you pass on this facility. There is literally not enough time in one 8 hour shift to give all patients the care required (unless your taking shortcuts) . Careone is literally running a hospital without legitimate hospital staffing or safe care ratios, and the patients ultimately pay the price. I've never been to a facility where EVERYBODY (nurses and aides) are agency, except the supervisor! Sadly after just working one shift here, I realized all the negative reviews are true. The regular staff are ignorant and get mad that agency workers leaving say "Im never coming back", but the place is a horror show. They couldn't pay me 100/hr to go back here. As a nurse this place is completely horrifying. If I worked here permanently, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night, knowing Im contributing to ruining the lives of people who put their trust in me to take care of them. An incident is waiting to happen here.

If you are younger than 75, do not go here for I/P Physical Rehab. It's too depressing. I assumed P/T Rehab. would be a separate unit but it is not. ( They say it is but you would have to be blind not to realize it is the same as the nursing home section.)
Nurses & aides try but they are probably spread too thin. Don't expect anyone to answer the call bell before 20 min. & maybe not at all.

When I was admitted, I was having a lot of trouble. I was very sick, weak, and nervous about my recent discharge from the hospital and coming to rehab. The medical team at CareOne Evesham was very efficient and quickly caught that my anti-depressant was not on my medication list sent over from the hospital. Therapy gave me the tools that I needed to believe in myself and find my strength. After therapy, the activities occupied my time and I met others that were experiencing the same struggles that I was going through. Talking about my personal experience and knowing that I was not alone in this helped beyond words. This morning, I am going home! I just finished an amazing made to order omelet in a beautiful outdoor area! I feel healthy, strong and confident leaving here today and so grateful that I chose CareOne Evesham!

Worst place. My mother has to wait a long time just o go to the bathroom, staff is not educated. They don't care about their patients. It must be a rotating door for staff because you don't see the same faces all the time.

I have had the pleasure of having my family members recently here and I ve been too many facilities and I d have to say the staff here is incredible and it is the best in the Camden County area for sure.

No one wants to have to go to rehab but when you are faced with lifes challenges and you find yourself in the position I highly recommend choosing Care One at Evesham. The staff was so nice and helpful when my dad needed to stay longer then anticipated. I often ate meals at the facility with my dad and the food was excellent. The therapy department was great with my dad and explained everything to him so he understood his process. The smiling faces of all the staff was just an added bonus to my dad's care. Thank you.

I came here voluntarily for a little physical therapy/rehab directly from the hospital after a triple bypass cardiac procedure. What a huge mistake. I have never experienced or lived in such horrendous conditions.

1. Most uncomfortable beds I have ever experienced. The chair I ended up sleeping on was more comfortable and less painful than the bed.
2. Slow to satisfy your maintenance and housekeeping requests. I ran out of toilet paper and was asking for more for over 10 hours.
3. Tough to get sleep when you have patients yelling "Help Me" all night long - this is very scary.
4. Difficult to find out what procedures are for a timely release as I have achieved my personal rehab goals for coming here and it would be more beneficial to continue with physical therapy at home.
5. No bathing facility in room. Showers twice per week
6. Timing of my meds seemed to vary day to day and with shift changes.

Please contact me and I'll be happy to tell you more. My recommendation is to stay away from this place if you are looking to rehab after surgery. This is a very scary place beyond the landscaped exterior and lobby fish tank. I feel as if I'm in Hell.

My mother is a resident at care one Evesham. She has been here for a month and the experience has been great. The new administrator Jeff has become a friend to me and my family. My mothers CNA's have been so wonderful to her. The unit manager Michelle has been fabulous to ever one of our needs. The kitchen staff has been incredible with accomadating all of our requests. Jay the chef brought out her food to meet her and introduce himself. Ryan and Brendan have been wonderful with my moms physical therapy and occupational therapy. The transition from the hospital to rehab was very smooth and it was so nice to see friendly faces welcoming her. Care one has given my mother the ability to build her confidence and strength. This place has been a great help to my family and I. They have even shown us how to care for mom when she discharges. What more could ask for. Thank you CareOne.

Great place to heal. I didn t want to come here after the hospital, I wanted to go home. I read reviews on careone and how people do not like it there. But I was treated well my entire stay. People were very nice and they did take care of me. Even over Christmas, they made me feel like I was apart of their family. Thank you especially to the nurse manager Michelle who made me feel comfortable. I also liked my therapy team but I forget their names. I would go back here if I needed therapy again.

We placed my mom at Care One Evesham for what we believed was going to be a temporary stay but she enjoyed it so much we made it her "forever home." She enjoyed the activities and the socialization. The activities director Brooke really made sure my mom was included in the activities. She even implemented things my mom enjoys as well. She even raved about the food being delicious. Happy to have chosen Care One Evesham.

This is an enjoyable place. It s home. It s where residents are free to live independently while knowing help is there should they need. This is a place where new friendships are made and support is available.

This is probably one of the worst facilities I've ever been to. The nursing staff doesn't know what they are doing and management ignores the complaints of patients/family members. I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here. If you truly love your family member don't send them to Evesham or Moorestown.

I was there for 5 days while my family went on vacation. I was worried about being left in a strange place but I was welcomed by staff. I was very comfortable. The activities were great. Angela in activities came down everyday to take me to be involved. Angela is definitely a keeper. Nurses were good and staff aids were wonderful.

I have worked for Care One at Moorestown for thirteen years and transferred to Care One Evesham in January of 2018. I was hesitant at first because of the bad reviews. I am a nurse and I absolutely love it! The facility offers abundant care, education and great team work especially with the changes that are being put in place. I love providing care to our patients and family members. I take pride in what I do and see a great future here.

I had a knee replacement and needed subacute rehab. I was offered to go to Care One Evesham because it was close to my home. I have heard mixed things about the place and I was leary about going there. I am the type of person that can not make judge from one persons bad experience. I was told the management has changed since then and decided to give it a shot. I couldn't be happier and had a wonder experience. Every place has minor bumps, no one or nothing is ever perfect, because there is no such thing as a perfect world. I am glad I was offered to come here and I feel wonderful because of the therapy department.

My grandmother stayed at this place for 4 months and it was the worst experience she ever had some of her belongs were stolen and she would go hours without anyone changing her she would have to lay in a dirty diaper! ANDD sometimes when I was on the phone I could hear other people yelling for the nurse and were being ignored. They wouldn't feed her times this place needs to be shut down!

Would not recommend this care facility.

Would not recommend this care facility.
The staff appeared to be disorganized at times and lacked attention to detail!
Poor management.

This is the worst place to go. It is dirty, it smells awful and nursing staff is clueless as to how to care. If I asked a question as simple as what pill are you giving him? They wouldn t know how to answer. My husband came in Friday night. His nurse who came In at 7 am on Saturday didn t read his chart at 3 pm. She told me that she didn t read his chart. No one, even the supervising nurse did knew his situation. He came in for rehab for a hip total hip replacement. He was supposed to go home after surgery but last minute went to rehab. Not one nursing staff, or aide checked his site. No ice was given to go on it. It was an awful experience.
* pt: Matt, and Connie were fantastic!!!!
Ot: Deep was fantastic!!!
Aide: shanta was very friendly

Everyone else should take notes from them. I would give a zero if I could.

This place is horrible! If you care about your loved one please take my advice and take them sum where else. The staff are rude and make the patiences wait up to hours just to use the bed pan . the staff have no clue how to use the equipment. You complain and it gets you nowhere.I wish I knew then what I now my mom passed in there hands.

I have the privilege of working at Care One Evesha...

I have the privilege of working at Care One Evesham for 16 years now. The level of care that I witness is extraordinary. I would not consider working for any another Rehab center. The Rehab department is amazing, evidenced by the outcomes I see of our patients. It is wonderful to see happy faces of the patients and their family as they realize that they are truly improving. The nursing staff is experienced and knowledgeable. Education in the latest treatments and proven practices is required, and here you can be confident that your medical treatment is of the highest quality. Social workers take each resident and their families, step by step through the healthcare system's overwhelming paper work. And when rehab is done for the day, and all the hard work completed,, the Activities department provides daily events for all types of relaxation. And if you prefer to be mentally challenged, you can join other like minded patients to various games. You can expect clean fresh rooms, and common areas. I have given tours of our facility, and the first thing that it recognized by the families is the cleanliness of building. You can expect the Culinary department to surprise you with foods that are fresh and made daily. The menu choices are designed to be healthy and delicious. You can ask any patient here how the food is, and the answer would be "better than I expected", "tasty and delicious", "can I have the recipe?". CareOne's culture is such that puts the patient first and foremost. Providing care and services that you want, instead of the patient conforming to the business model is what makes us the best Rehab center in the business. The leadership team cultivates each department to focus on the individual needs of our patients, by providing us education, tools and support to achieve .
Sure this sounds like a commercial, but only because I have such pride in where I work. Who am I? I'm the registered dietitian. I meet each and every patient who comes through our doors. I would like to meet you someday, and perhaps we can discuss a few things about food and human nutrition as they relate to your "particular" needs.

Honestly our family member went here for 2 hours and left just today. This place you should not go to at all. It was an awful experience, the facility sells it like it's a dream and it is not. Also we were told to google it and found out it's potentially on a list to be a special focus for the state. Trust me just look out for it

Our family is SO impressed with the coordination of care for my father at CareOne at Evesham. The entire staff has been very professional and truly care about his well being. They care for him as if he was family. We are so appreciative to all of you!

I have no idea how this rehab. facility is allowed to operate. My father was there from Feb. 2018 to April 2018. There is absolutely no communication between anyone that works there. Unless a family member is in there everyday screaming, as I was at them your loved one will not receive proper care or attention. The social worker is useless. My father fell out of bed 2 times while he was being changed and I heard the details from my father. When you complain about anything everyone says not me. They didn't even dress him and I had his clothes there. My father was very disabled and they would give him a baked potato to eat and not even cut his food. How did they think he could feed himself. I had an awful time getting him released. They had to be threatened. No one follows through on anything. So sad for the people there. Please please I speak from first hand experience. I am not just talking sour grapes. Look elsewhere. I gave it one star because maybe there were 3 people in the whole facility that tried to help me when I needed it. Everyone else looks at you like I could care less what you are saying. I feel sorry for the patients that are still there. Just because they just put up new chandeliers and wallpaper do not be fooled. They should be closed down!

I will never send a family member to this rehab. My grandmother was SO UNBELIEVELY mistreated by the staff and nursing staff. This being all because my grandmother was a bigger paitent .If anyone asked me if this facility is worth sending their loved ones to I would say ABSOULTLEY NOT ! everything was a nightmare.

My dad was in Care One Marlton for 3 weeks for therapy. He was treated with respect by everyone that spoke to him. He enjoyed all the activities as well, especially liked the live entertainment on Friday afternoons. He was asking me to take him back to volunteer. My family and I were happy with our choice for dad's rehab.

I was a recent patient at your facility from mid-April to the end of May. I just wanted to thank your employees at Care-One for the great care I got while being there. A special thank you to Laura & Josephine, the nurses that took care of me. Thank you to Cheryl, Kathy, & Emily who were the aides who helped me. They were wonderful & made my recovery so special! Thank you to Ernie & Connie from Physical Therapy & Wendy, Holly, Vince from Occupational Therapy for all their help in getting me stronger. A special thank you to Brooke who made my stay at Care-One extra special. God Bless all of you for the care I received! My stay at your facility helped me get through a very difficult time, I am forever grateful!

Had a family member here for rehab after being at Cooper. There are very sick people here, including my loved one, but this place takes them head on. I was hesitant when I heard he was coming here because of some stories I heard, but I was shocked. The Nurse s and doctors were caring and operated the facility like a hospital! He was treated well and made it home in good shape. The therapy he got was effective in getting him back to himself. Give them a shot. Don t believe everything you hear, go in with an open mind and you will be very surprised. Only down side I would say is noise level here and there.

Hands down, most experienced nursing staff. If you're looking for quality experienced care, with Established results based physical therapy, this is the best. I've researched many places, none compare to experience level here. My advice, don't be sold on heresay. Ask questions based on rehab and medical treatment. This place has the best all around care

Do not put your family member in this facility. All the negative reviews are true. I will be contacting law enforcement and you will answer for the way you treated my Uncle. Please do not place your loved one in this facility. Especially during covid. So sad and angry.

Care One does not take the request of patients or family into consideration, they simply go on as if no requests were made. I'd give them one star but the aids and nurse my mother had did their best in spite of the social workers and office personal.

My father was a recent patient at CareOne Evesham, and I must say it was a horrible experience. The 1st night he was there, he pressed the call light for medication and it was in for nearly 2hrs before anyone came in to check on him. What if he was having chest pains? Then their was a big issue with the ants in his room, we were told it was being addressed....Total lie...My father had ants crawling on his bed and body 2 days in a row.
With the exception of a few nurses and techs ,
The staff is horrible! When he came into CareOne from the hospital, his mobility was good and his mental status was good. During his 4 day stay, both his mobility and mental status greatly decreased. One of the reasons were due to a sedative that was supposed to be as needed, but was given to him every night, that had an adverse effect with another medication he was on. And the other due to lack of care. We were told by the liaison for CareOne that they dumped a million dollars into the rehab facility, which was a lie. I would not want my worse enemy to experience what my father did. He is in a much better facility now ...But I do have videos and pictures to back up everything I have stated. Please if you care about your loved ones keep them far far away from CareOne Evesham! Js

My father was recently a patient at CareOne, and I must say it was a horrible one. 1st his call light was on for 2hrs before somebody came in to check on him. (what if he was having chest pains) 2nd was an insect problem which lasted his entire stay of 4 days before we had him transfered to another facility. Ants were crawling on my father 2 different times.3rd he was on a sedative as needed, CareOne was giving it to him every day which had a adverse effect with another medication. When he came into CareOne his mobility and mental status were good. With in 4 days under CareOnes care my dads mobility and mental status went down hill. We were also told that they spent a million dollars in renovations on CareOne Eveshame....I couldnt tell. To me it looked like a run down V.A. hospital that you see in the movies. I have videos and pictures of everything to back up my statements. So please if you love your loved ones DONT SEND THEM TO CAREONE EVESHAME!!! thank you ....James Shue

DO NOT allow your loved ones to stay in this facility.
They will be neglected, given the wrong medication, Be left without any way to call for help.
They will need to call 911 on themselves to get help at night.
Once the front desk closes, good luck getting someone to answer the phone.
This place should be shut down.
The staff will become abusive and retaliate against your loved one should you try to advocate on their behalf.
They will be left in their own urine and feces for extended times.
There needs to be a way to rate negative stars.
Communication with family non existent.
Need to get the name of an employee who does not act professional, caring or plain human? Good luck

My family member is really loving his time here.

My family member is really loving his time here.
The recent management change has seemed to really improve the way the building is ran. Communication has been improved immensely in regards to how his care is being managed and what therapy goals have been achieved.
It looks like he'll be back to his old self sooner than initially thought. Thanks Care One!

My mom had hip surgery and needed sub acute rehab. We toured a few places in the area and found this place to be the best fit for our family. Everyone was kind and very helpful during my moms stay. We would definitely return if needed. She got so strong and is doing well at home. Thank you Care One.

All the OT and PT staff were so wonderful. Staying at this facility was very helpful for my recovery. The place was clean and almost everyone had a smile on their face. I was greeted warmly by the woman at the front desk and given a care bag by the admissions office. I am feeling great because of care one

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. BEWARE!!! My uncle James is currently here, and we are fighting to try and find some place else to send him. He was pulled by his neck (after neck surgery) in his FIRST DAY of admission. He had an accident in bed and the nurses left him in a URINE SOAKED MATTRESS for over an hour. His bed neighbor spilled an entire tray of food on him and had my uncle and himself calling for help and NO ONE CAME FOR AN HOUR. We get texts in the middle of the night saying the nurses are cruel and bully them. Although the facilty itself looks nice, it s a total facade and the care is terrible. Writing as as I m on the phone with another faculty. DO NOT SEND ANYONE HERE IT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. Save yourself the money, headache, and future legal action. I BEG YOU.

I went to CareOne Evesham for my rehab stay and it was amazing! They took great care of me and I was truly impressed! I was a little confused with the whole process but they explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable. Each department met with me and my family. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing rehab. Thank you.

My mother and father are both patients here. They treated him with respect and dignity my father passed away today. The staff could not be more wonderful to the patients that I've seen and that I've talked to while I've been here

The social worker at the hospital told me that they had new management so I decided to send my mom for rehab. I met with the administration, Jeniffer and Monica. They were delightful. They were very helpful in accommodating my mothers requests and went out of their way to make sure that she received the food that she liked. The staff were friendly and one of them spoke Spanish and had a long conversation with my mom, she loved it. I feel confident in the care she is receiving. She has many medical issues and I don't know of many other rehab centers that could handle her care.

We jokingly call it "care NONE". My grandfather was here for a short while until we "broke him free". The pictures in their ads look all nice and fancy. Don't be fooled. My grandfather unfortunately needed bathroom assistance and that means he was in an adult diaper. Often times sitting in muck for hours..if you are not present here - checking your loved one every single day - they will be left to "sit and stew". Horrible. I understand it is a difficult job. But this is the job you chose. These facilities are making money hand over fist but don't employ enough people and don't employ quality people.

It has been a couple days that I have requested for the maintenance staff to replace the curtain in my son' s room , nothing happened , no follow up and no one is accountable. I gave them the benefits for the doubt, to see how long before they replace the ripped and non functioning curtain.

Care One Evesham therapy department was wonderful to my mom. They really made sure they met all her needs for her to be discharged. The social workers were so helpful upon discharge, the admissions department followed up a week later and made sure mom was settled back at home. Thank you Care One.

If I could give a 0 or less I would. One of the employees took her phone. Not sitting with her to try to get her to eat. Not taking her patients rights and putting a feeding tube in her and just allowing her to die. This place makes me sick.

I have been w/ the company for less than a year.
I am a member of the management team.
I am the Unit Manager on the Elmwood unit.
I have been a nurse for over 20 years.
My colleagues have been a godsend!
The environment is nurturing and supportive.
The new challenges I have faced, and are continuing to face, are enriching. The team at Evesham have guided and directed me constructively in my role as unit manager.
I have recommended multiple former colleagues of mine and family members for hire with Care One.

This place was so wonderful to my father. They have some of the best care I have ever seen, and they were able to take him due to all of his clinical needs unlike many other place who would not. I appreciate the staff here the most the communicated so well throughout his entire care.

This place is awful. For the most part, the caregivers are non-caring & incompetent! Some are even combatitive with the consumers! Then they hide their badges, so they can't be identified in a complaint. Perhaps they dont realize who is paying their salaries. Administrators either don't care or are powerless in requiring staff to perform their basic job duties. They make empty promises, but never follow through. Nurse Manager Michelle is the worst. During a family meeting, the Associate Hospital Administrator, AJ advised us that he can tell staff to do their jobs, but he can't make them. I advised him that I know someone who can & proceeded to file formal complaints with various State entities (Division of Consumer Affairs, Department of Health & Senior Services & the Office of the Ommbudsman). Next is to contact the Joint Commission!
While the facility is aesthetically pleasing, your met with an offensive stench as soon as you walk into the building.
During my first visit, I was warned by another patient's family member to get my relative out ASAP. We've been trying to get him out ever since.
As a nurse, with 20 years of State of NJ regulatory/compliance expetience, I caution you, DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO CARE ONE EVESHAM, unless you can be there with them everyday. Otherwise, they are sure to be neglected. This place needs to be closed down.

Care one Evesham was a great center for my dad. He was very happy with the care and the therapy department. It was always clean. I took a tour before bringing my dad there and the admissions director was very sweet and informative. My dad was discharged with home care and the social worker was extremely helpful.

I am excited about the direction the building is going in and also very proud to be a part of the team at Care One at Evesham . The staff here always go above and beyond to ensure the experience here is 5 star. This is why my Sister continues to come here for her rehab and nursing needs.

My dad came here for rehab which seemed fine. He was then moved into the assisted living facility next door. He complained that he was only given a bath twice in the two months he was there. he said the staff were rude and didn't check on him or care. He fell once and couldn't use his emergency pager. He laid there for three hours until someone found him. My son and I visited him from Georgia for four days straight. We were there from 9:00 to 5:00 each day. Only once did anyone ever come to the room, and it was the laundry worker. He stunk so bad that I had enough. He was neglected the whole time he was there. A good local friend of his would check on him several times a week and confirmed the neglect. His wife who is a nurse, bathed him and cleaned him up once. I took him out and moved him here to Georgia. They said they almost cried. He had sores all over his body and was filthy. He gets the care he needs now and has said that "these people know what they're doing". they are friendly and caring. His quality of life has improved 100%. I wanted them to take pictures of his sores, but they said they were not allowed. I have talked to a lawyer and am still thinking of pursuing action.

Do not believe everything you read. Sometimes, you need to experience a place yourself. This place did an amazing job getting my mother back into shape to go home. I had read a lot of bad reviews saying this was a horrible facility. I didn t experience this at all. The Nurse s and aids were attentive to mom s needs. The food was good and the dietary staff really tried to make sure she was happy with her meals. She loved therapy and she was seen frequently. They worked with her on her schedule and when she wasn t feeling well, they didn t force her or make her feel bad for not going. They came back and would give her time to feel better. People were friendly and greeted me every time I was there. The building was clean and very modern looking. They told me they did renovations within the last two years and it really looks like a nice hotel! I had an issue one time about her call bell not being answered right away, but after speaking with the manager, I felt at ease that this wouldn t happen again. I am very impressed and I am very pleased with the outcome of her stay. Again, I am urging you to give this place a chance, I toured a lot of places that I will not name and this was truly the best nursing facility of them all.
