My wife and I recently went on the Cardiff cruise, and what a fantastic experience it was! We had a really relaxing time taking in the beautiful scenery, we'll definitely be coming back. Thanks again to the lovely staff for a great day.

Me and my family had an enjoyable time. We chose the boat trip around Cardiff Bay. It was a beautiful day out and amazing view to look at

Tour was overbooked, had to stand in the knner of the boat as the upper deck was closed for renovation (to be fair, they told us about the Deck as we Made tue booking). The guided tour was a full tape recording. Would bot recommend to friends.

Amazing service, friendly staff and great atmosphere, perfect day out with the kids, they highly enjoyed it. Definitely One of the best boats to take across the bay.

Personally I think that it was a bit of a waste of time and money. They were overbooked and forced us onto an overcrowded boat and had to stand for the duration of the trip trying to see out of a tiny window. All we did was go to the other side of the harbour as a ferry service and back again.

We just made the sailing but the gate was re-opened for us. A warm welcome onboard and an excellent comentary as we sailed back from Penarth to the Bay landing stage. The boat was clean and very well equiped and we totally enjoyed our trip - thank you

Disgusting evening myself and 15 girlfriends had this Saturday 30/9/17. The floor was wet and slippery and a few of the girls went down , had to ask for a mop to do it ourselves, the bar staff were all missable, and then when it was time for BBQ bearing in mind there was one burger to each person they run out before we could have one and was told they hadn't cooked enough, and to top it off a 3 hour party boat lasted all of 2 hours , but by that time we were glad to get off , all the party of other ladies were very disappointed. Never ever again . This should never be running.

Interesting journey from the bay area up the river to the castle. Took less than half an hour with a recorded guide pointing out the sights. Pleasant and good value.

Absolute shambles. If i could give it less stars I would! We have had the boat party booked for 8 months, 2 days before we are due to go on it they cancel as they have over booked! We are travelling to Cardiff for a stag do, a 4 hour drive! This company are an absolute joke! I woukd never wish people to fail in life but I genuinely hope this company go skint! 120 people on board and we get cancelled, when questioned on why us after it's been booked for so long, they replied with it's fine as you can come on next week's trip... 4 hour drive to probably be let down again.

Boat trip cancelled at the last minute with no notification at all. Rubbish instructions on where to find the boat. 2 disappointed children and a wasted trip. Would not recommend at all.

Interesting exsperience, we were the only guests on the boat untill we reached the other side. Staff were lovely and helpfull when boarding the boat and had great wheelchair accsess with ramp.
Good price for the hour we spent on the boat.
Realy enjoyed the exsperience and one of the highlights of our trips.

I love Cardiff Cruises!....so peaceful and you can do snorkeling, fishing or take a boat ride.I saw turtles and had a ride around the island, then my hubby relaxed in the island cafe while I went for a short snorkel....Lovely people and very welcoming

Cost effective, wonderful and pleasant journey, the staff are all so friendly and welcoming, we had a great ride across the bay. Loved the commentary. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely trip around Cardiff Bay. If you visit Cardiff Bay, I would absolutely recommend Cardiff Cruises. I'm not usually very good with being on water, but I would have regretted not doing this. The captain is very friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic value for money.

I wasn't very impressed with the service or the boat. There was no greeting from the staff at all. The upper deck was "out of order". The fumes from the boat on the bottom outer deck were overwhelming, and many other passengers commented on this as well. Not much to see from the bay.

It s okay to sell a return ticket to Penarth quoting the last trip back to Mermaid Quay to be at 1600.

It s *not* okay to just not turn up for the return journey, make us wait till 1630 with no sign of a boat, or to not pick up the phone to account for yourselves. Because of this an elderly couple walked the whole barrage back.

We should have listened to your rivals.

There weren't enough seats, and the seats that were there wasn't facing the windows, overall comfort could be improved.

Excellent trip, reasonably priced, amusing and informative commentary, happy and helpful crew.

Not impressed that there was no stairs so on a beautiful day 18 crows were caged inside instead of out in the sunshine

My wife and I really enjoyed our boat trip and the stop off.

Good value tour around the bay with informative commentary

Regularly get Marianne from Cardiff Bay to Penarth. Got off at Penarth to have a wander around and got a later boat back to Cardiff Bay.

After looking at pictures online of people sitting on the top deck, I was looking forward to having a nice 45 minute journey on the bay. Unfortunately, we had to sit at the bottom deck and the fumes from the engine were HORRIBLE.
Wish I could get a refund, this is false advertising. Do yourself and HEALTH a favor a pick another cruise line. The speed boat that passed us a few times looked like fun.

Took the kids up the river then around the bay about a 45min cruise. Kids luved it i enjoyed to.
