My claim was assigned to Adam Benefield, Property Adjuster with CapstoneISG the Altalanta, GA branch. Service was so poor and taking so long that I went to Noble Public Adjusting Group and now have a Public Adjuster. Before I went to a public adjuster, I made every effort to get my claim taken care of in a reasonable amount of time, I contacted the Claims Analyst with Johnson & Johnson to no avail. I also contacted the Claims Liaison Manager with Affordable Insurance, also to no avail.
To this day my claim has not been settled. I have been forced to use my own money & credit cards to repair the unit and I now have a lien on my property from ServPro for nonpayment.
Where do I begin?? This insurance claim has been a disaster. My Aunt is a 72 year old widow who is legally blind and has had this insurance company for years. Excessive rain damaged her roof and her ceiling came crashing down over her bed. Filed a claim well she needed a new roof well of course there's not enough to cover the whole cost of the roof not to mention the hole that is wide open in her room with the pink insulation falling all over the place intern sends my Aunt into a Asthma attack and puts her in the hospital. The company adjuster Derek Sparks is just awful, we been telling him the contractor has completed the roof and needs the rest of their payment and now we have more hoops to jump through. This is just for the roof I wish I could upload pictures of her ceiling on here so you folks could see it and imagine your mother or grandmother or Aunt sitting underneath it for months now because and insurance company she's paid thousands of dollars in to for years are just concerned with their bottom lines! Shameful.. Has not shown a bit of concern for the family's wellbeing in the house with that hole in the ceiling no call to say Mrs. Williams as soon as we get the roof squared away we will get your inside done. They wanted her to put a roof on and fix drywall and insulation with two different contractors with $5600.. Where the hell do they do this at?? I'll tell you Capstone is where. Y'all need to get rid of that adjuster or put him in the kitchen at corporate slinging hash!!! Very disappointed!
Capstone ISG has been the sole obstacle in an insurance claim to repair a house after a septic tank overflow. Their adjustors are allowed to take weeks to get the proper paperwork put together, causing us a loss of rent/income on rental properties. They aren't registered with the BBB or else a complaint there would be long past warranted. Because of Capstone ISG, it's taken OVER 6 WEEKS to get an insurance payout for a job that other companies have covered within a few days. If your insurer uses Capstone, find another insurer.
