Great little spot for young kids. Can't wait for it to get a bit warmer and for all the exhibits to open. Got a family pass for the season, great local close by spot to bring the little one for a short visit and some outdoor fun!

zoo size for 3 & under..
Grandson loved the playground, missed the splashpad.
Missing a few regular adventures, covid I guess.
Kids had an awesome time. Unfortunately because of COVID they have extra barriers up.
This zoo is great for small kids who don t like to walk a lot. It is not so great for the animals. The lions don t have a proper environment and not much enrichment. Most of the animals seem to just be bored and not stimulated.
The enclosures are too small for the animals. The big cats and sloth bear especially. The lions live in a completely concrete world. Left there sad for the animals.
Cute, clean, everyone was friendly. Perfect for my toddler in terms of length of time spent there followed by playtime on the playground. The surrounding park is a great place to picnic and relax as well. Peaceful, beautiful gardens.
Nice little zoo! They had a band playing, a splash pad for the kids. Beautiful park area also. Had a nice time!
We love this zoo! We happened to come upon it a couple of years ago and enjoyed seeing the animals, especially the lions! We told our son about it who lives in Franklin and yesterday took them as well as our 16 mo.old granddaughter! They enjoyed it so much too. We'll go back when its warmer as some of the animals were still "vacationing" in warmer climates.

Love this small zoo, it s nice and cheap as well. They have an amazing lion area. My son also loves the playground space outside the zoo
