zeal custom boards are made from the highest quality materials and are extremely strong and light. very stoked I decided to try out the brand.

I've used zeal to fix and refurbish my carbon boards, and their service was so good I ended up ordering a new one from them (from their APEX series). LIGHTEST BOARD EVER, in fact it hit me twice in the head on a windy day and it didn't even hurt me, that's how light it is! Excellent service and superior boards all around.

Bought an Easy Glider SUP from Zeal. The board is light and super strong, and the build quality is amazing. Ian takes great pride in his boards for his customers and his attention to detail phenomenal. You can see his years of experience in composites being put to good use in the production of the Zeal SUP range, as well as the other unique carbon composite projects on the go in his factory for other customers. Always fun paying him a visit to see what is going on the factory.

I came to Ian at Zeal with an idea of what I wanted in mind. We sat down together and came up with a surfboard design that suited my exact needs. We talked about the different constructions available and the effects on performance each one would have. Ian is super knowledgable in this area which is clear from his experience in the high-tech composites industry. From here the board got shaped and came out even better than I could have ever imagined. The lightest, strongest board I have ever owned.

Working in the area, I popped into the factory during the whole build process. It is clear that Ian and his team take great care with every board they make.

For about the last two years I have been riding a slightly customized version of The Rocket and the name really says it all - it s very fast and very maneuverable. It weighs virtually nothing and is as tough as nails. From large waves to small waves this board dominates. If you are looking for a new board contact Zeal you will not regret it.

Ian and the guys at Zeal have been brilliant, I was impressed with their friendly committed service and technical expertise. About 2 years ago they built 5 glass epoxy paddleboards for us. One of these surf SUP boards has been used as a demo almost daily for about 1.5 years. I have been really impressed with how this board has stood up to constant abuse from the average novice. I replaced this board's rather worn deckpad last week and I noticed that the standing area had no depressions or distortion. I highly recommend this business.

I ordered the Rocket SUP about 2 years ago and it completely changed my SUP experience. Super light and fast on the wave and my skill level improved very quickly. Ian was super responsive to my needs and great customer service all around. In fact when I fell and put a small hole in the board, he fixed it immediately. My experience with Zeal was always one of exceptional product and a high level of trust. The first board I rode from Zeal was after meeting Ian Wolmarans for 15 minutes, and he let me have it for the full duration of my holiday at Buffalo Bay - for free. That was December 2019. He requested that I return the board when I am back... I am a customer for life!!

I recently bought a custom Rocket SUP board from Zeal Surf. I took a chance by ordering a board without ever seeing a Zeal board in the flesh. Ian from Zeal helped me design a board to suit my needs. He gave me as much attention and time as I needed and more. The designing and shaping experience could not have been any better. Ian did the effort (for free) to drop the board at a truck depot to catch a lift to Namibia. When the board arrived I was blown away. I have owned boards from most top brands and Zeal boards are right at the top. Thanks again team Zeal. Quality will sell itself!

So happy with the performance of 8'3 ft Zeal Apex Pro. Its super light for great maneuvering and lifting onto roof racks. Best SUP board I've surfed.
