Fun rides at a good price! Food is a little expensive but average for an amusement park. I've been coming here for years and it's still fun! Good for all ages.

Not worth 42$. Waited 4 hours in one line, had to pay 30 bucks for one small pizza and the park was way too overcrowded. Shame on you.
Great amusement park. Well run, clean and great food, too.
It's a very clean and safe amusement park. Fun and thrilling rides for all age groups. We, especially, enjoyed the Boston Tea Party ride!
Fun for the kids. Nothing has really changed since I was going on a regular basis as a boy. I now bring my kids to the exact same place as I went nearly 30 years ago.
A great variety of rides, roller coasters, water attractions and carnival games. The park balances rides for older kids by usually having a similar ride for very young kids to try as well. This is great for families with kids of different comfort levels at an affordable price.
The prices are good and loads to do and everyone that works thier are super nice
Been going for years! My whole family love the park.
Had a great time, despite the heat that day. The only negative was some "couple" doing God only knows what in the family restroom. Thank goodness there was a diaper changing station in the regular restroom.
I was pleasantly surprised by Canobie. The park is well designed/layed out. The rides may not be huge, but they make the most of their size and are really fun! It's easy to spend the day here and not do anything twice. Free parking and reentry are the best things ever. It's rare to find a place like this that will make it easier and more affordable to visit.
Loved it!!! Some people disguised as devils would not respect the social distancing...loved the friendly atmosphere. Not many people as expected-- cant wait to go again.
I thanked every worker i came into contact with. "Thank you for working today and all days to keep us enjoyably safe. We need you! Stay safe and have a great calm working experience this year" water park was the spot today!!!! Four hours there.
Such a nice park to visit. Many kid rides and classic rides from years ago. A few modern thrill rides as well. Definitely worth a visit
If you are looking for a family friendly park, than Canobie is the place for you. Enough small rides for little ones, with enough thrills to entertain older kids and adults. The park is easily walkable and never overly crowded. The staff keeps everyone safe and it is genuinely a wonderful time. Watch out for the sudden rain storms. Take a nice scenic Blue Heron cruise around the lake.
Fun park but not that many scary things during screeemfest
Been going there my whole life now i take my children
Great family time! I do believe the drinks are highly over priced since it was so hot and my drink was just as hot. They should at least provide a cup with ice! That wasn't even an option. Make sure you bring cash because the vending machines don't take cards and they addre the only place you're gonna find cold water
Was here Saturday had an awesome time I can truly say great time for everybody I miss the human autopsy I missed the zombie paintball well worth getting the Quick Pass for the haunted rides great for the kids and family I try to go every year thank you for being there
The rides and attractions were fun, lots to do - but a little expensive to get in...
The food, was horrible !
Some of the ride attendants could use a little lesson on being polite and pay a little more attention...
Great amusement park with lots of rides for kids and adults.
Pretty much stay in the new water park all day. Until 7 when it closed by which time most people went home and there were no lines for most rides. Stayed till 10 for the spectacular fire works show.
Taking off 1 star because there was an issue with the customers service at the food booth near the arcade where the employee burned my food, blamed it on the fact she was talking and got distracted and then still served me the burnt food becuase she didnt care to make another batch.
Also getting into the park itself was alittle confusing and annoying. I got sent back to my car several times from the bag check line. If you're planning a trip there i'd advise you to check their rules online before hand to save yourself some time.
Great Place For All Mainers Who Go to Funtown Splashtown USA annually. Fun but , expensive but then again all amusement parks are expensive. I'd recommend to go after 5pm because the tickets are cheaper . Prices: All People Over 5' $38, Under 5 feet $26, Under 3 you are free. And after 5 pm 26 dollars for all people
Lots of fun for our almost 3 yo. We also brought a newborn baby and found the park very friendly towards nursing mothers and strollers. They even have a nursing room!
Great place to spend the day. If you go now, spring, it is only $28.00. prices then go up to $39.00 in summer. All rides and water park is included in this price. Food and drinks are really expensive so bring your own in your backpack ( no glass). Park is very clean and ride tenders are super nice. There are rides for young and old. Check out their website!
Its really fun to bring your kids and have a great familt time. :-)
We Loved It..Fire Works And All The Good Food & Rides..
What a great park still!
Brought my lil man, good times!
Memories of my youth brought back.
Thanks.
(advice) Bring some cash
the best experience everything is fantastic but the problem is that it sells very expensive food
I love this place been coming here since I was 9 year's old. Now I'm here with my daughter and wife and mother
10 YEAR OLD ALMOST DIED READ!!!!!!!. Recently I took my granddaughter to Canobie lake park thinking it'd be a a family fun special day. But I was wrong. WAY wrong. After we got there my granddaughter pointed to a extreme roller coaster. I said no lets pick something calmer to start out with. And she picked the "Star Blaster". We buckled in and the staff checked our seat harness. right when he was about to start the ride I hear "HELP, MY SEAT HARNESS UN CLICKED,HELP!" It was coming from my granddaughter! She quickly jumped out of the seat and told the staff about to start the ride. He correctly fastened her and started the ride. Later we went on the "Untamed" an the "Corkscrew" at the end with bruised heads. NEVER go to Canobie Lake Park. 100% unsafe
Cool park and everything. Except that the Skater and the Swings were closed.
Great time, except I ripped my knee open on the entryway to the lazy river.
Awsome, amazing definitely a good place to bring kids
The grounds look very beautiful and there is a large selection of thrill rides but the roller coasters tend to be fairly mediocre in comparison to those of other parks.
Beet place to hang in with kids, tons of rides. One single entry free and go on any ride you want, No tickets needed for each ride in addition to entry fee. Kids had a great time there. Would love to go again.
Cleanest and nicest family park, hold out for the fries at the International cafe there, they are fresh cut and yummy
Still a lot of fun after all these years :-) Cleaner too. Go week days is my recommendation.
Very clean and great for young kids, but expect to wait in line for EVERYTHING, even food and drinks, it took over 10 minutes to get 2 slices of pizza, 8 minutes just to get waters for the family.
Definately something you couldn't get in california
$131 for my family of four two adults a 7 year old and a 5 year old. Charged full price for my 7 year old because of hight but when they went on rides she was able to get on any ride the 5 year old went on. WlWeif she is to tall for children's price why is it she's allowed on rides that state no more than 48 inches she is just about 48 inches yet charged for an adult ticket. I asked if I could remove her shoes for an accurate hight and was told that's not what they do. AftrA paying $131 that does not leave much for food and souvenirs. This used to be a fun place but now more money and less updates. Your looking at a 300$ day for a family of four to have fun I could go to much better places spend that much and have gotten more for the money. Sad.
Canobie might be one of my favorite amusement parks because it's pretty cheap for a amusement park, good food, and fun rides and entertainment.
Screemfest was an absolute nightmare. Couldn't accommodate guests parking or needs. 3 hour wait for rides.
AMAZING It was a very good price for the 5 awesome and scary haunted houses and plus all the rides, highly recommend
Took my 2.5 year old here and she had a great time. They have rides for all ages. They have live music performances which is very entertaining. Its a huge park. Something for everyone
Perfect size amusement park. Lines were not too long. Trees everywhere for good shade. Beer on tap all over the park. The live performances were great! The food is expensive and just ok, but who cares? A great family park, you can see the whole park in one day and ride everything more than once.
Great park to enjoy with the family. ScreamFest is really fun. Kids running around scared for their lives is hilarious
I grew up going to canobie lake and was so happy to be able to bring my kids there. They have an amazing section for little kids. We spent nearly the whole day just in that section. We could have spent multiple days there with all there was to do. One caveat is that line times outside of the kids section were a little long with cranky kids and there was no indication of how long the wait actually was.
Had a great visit on May 27, 2018. Very light crowds (probably scared off by the cool, drizzly weather) and all the employees were friendly, especially one particular operator on the Yankee Cannonball. Only reason I'm not giving five stars is because I'm an amusement park fanatic and that rating is reserved for the five or six best parks in the world (i.e. Knoebels in Pennsylvania). Canobie is very solid and highly recommended, though. Great value for the money with the "after 5pm" admission! Only major criticism is the food. Wish they would bring back the funnel cake with ice cream.
Love this place. Best Value for the money anywhere around!!! Can't wait until the new Water Park opens this month
Such a great experience! They have activities for all ages. Most of the staff was very friendly. I would give it five stars except a few employees were less than friendly and food was too expensive. Other than that it was a great time!
Love this place! It has great coasters and it's very easy to get to! The only downside was it was more expensive that I expected considering it's a pretty small amusement park compared to some other options in New England
Everyone had a wonderful time. Rides and games for all ages. Looking forward to the water park, opening. It looks awesome. The ride and game attents were very curtious and nice. Need to add different selections of food. Alot of the same food at evety place.
I have not been back in years and I know that I am not missing out on much.
We had a great day! Employees were friendly and helpful. It
Had lots of fun! Good rides for people of all ages. Do try - untamed rollercoaster, pyschodrome !
I was very impressed with canobie, even when it was on a day that had a lot of guests there. There are tons of rides for kids and lines were not too bad.
Water park is small, but nicely laid out for kids. There was a lot to do in a small area there. Looked like they had a nice bar in the water park for adults.
Food was surprisingly inexpensive and very good for the most part.
Will definitely be back in the future.
Plenty of entertaining rides and people watching is A1
1 for the park s operations at 25%
5 for customer service
Average of 3... read on for full description :)
I agree with other reviews that say it s not really the best time to come during COVID-19.
I believe that they are trying to cover themselves and are enforcing greater than 6ft distance on most rides etc, but it was very expensive to come here. Additionally, my expectation is that my family and I will actually RIDE some rides at that cost.
We have been here for an hour in a line that appeared shortest, but only 2 rows are filled on every run (the Skater). (The ride has 6 rows which hold 4 people, so, 24 capacity, but if there are two in your party, and two in the other party, you each sit in the first and last row for a total of 4 riders... 4/24=16%...)
Feeling sad that we drove all this way and paid so much money and our first Canobie experience is a bummer.
We WERE really excited to come here, but realistically we probably would not return.
My oldest daughter said it best I feel like if they are going to ALLOW this many people in the park they should have more people on rides. Perhaps their park capacity is just too unevenly matched with their ride capacity
I ve updated this though to add that within the first hour of being in the park when I noticed this discrepancy and realized we wouldn t likely get to ride more than 6-7 rides in 6 hours, I asked the park for a refund and while they didn t REFUND, they gave us the option to exit the park and get return tickets to come at a future date. I am thankful for that and my girls are hopeful for a fun time in the future.
The park is beautiful and clean, but those Covid wait times are nuts!
Great old amusement park. Still one of the best after 100 years!!!
Love the rides! The price of food is very expensive for a family of 4. However the new ride, The Eqinox, is horrible and gave me a headache for 3 days. It also breaks down all the time and looks very unsafe. But great for a night at the park.
Don't let you bring your own food in: forcing you to eat their trash heap that they call food. I ate the personal pizza and it was burnt, dry and had no sauce or cheese. To make up for it I went to the Mexican food place (poncho cantina) ordered a taco and nachos. Nachos cheese were stone cold while the chips were stale, had no ice in my drink and to top it all off I had a long piece of hair implanted in my taco. What a nice present! Absolute joke
