Great friendly staff. Ada friendly. No service dog access challenges, but handlers beware, it's pet friendly. Clean grounds, safe rides, decent food. Lots to do. A little expensive, but definitely fun

Great fun. Keep enhancing the water park.

Great fun. Keep enhancing the water park.

However two recommendations for the owners:
1) Please let people bring in their own food. At least their own water and snacks. (Alternatively, consider bringing in McDonald's and some other low cost vendors;
2) Improve and add more photo shots on rides (lighting can ruin pictures and your system deleted (overwrote) my son's photo- how can that happen at an amusement park?

Always a pleasure at Canobie. I don't think it's a place where adults could go multiple times, but if you're a teen or you've got kids, it's a fun place. They've got a good mix of attractions for thrill-seekers and those (like myself) who aren't huge fans of crazy rides. Food and drink is a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd say it isn't out of the ordinary, considering its an amusement park. If you go for ScreemFest in October be sure to bundle up, as it gets pretty chilly. The attractions for that event are alright at best, but I'd say it's worth going to at least once if you're a local.

First visit there and the children had fun. Only on thing I didn't like but just because I love hot fries and my lunch fries was cold. Beside that it was fun. I would have given it a 5 if the fries was hot.

A great place for families, groups of friends, reunions, or company gatherings. All the rides here are great and well maintained. The food isn't bad either, though expect amusment park prices a for everything. Try going during the week to avoid the crowds and make sure you do Yankee Cannonball before the line gets too big!

I've been here many times before and I have fun each and every time I come. My only complaint is how expensive everything is. If you don't mind spending an extra ten or twenty bucks, this place is for you

Very nice park, with a wide variety of rides and attractions! I especially love the arcades, especially with the throw back games! They bring me back to my teens! I wish there were more, like defender, the baseball game where you have the metal joystick to throw different pitches...

I've been going there with my kids for about 6 years now. The park advertised they had a new water attraction this year, but we arrived to find it was under construction. For the third visit in a row, two of our favorite rides were not open (Frisbee and Skater). As usual, the food concessions are dirty and overpriced. We always leave the park mid afternoon to eat at a local restaurant or the mall food court, then return for more evening rides.

This is THE place to be in the spring, summer and fall in New England, and a far better deal than Six Flags. A park rich in history, locally owned and operated, and an excellent "Staycation" alternative to Disneyland.

Most people associate CLP with rides and not much else, but there is so much more to CLP! Very pleasant atmosphere with plenty of room to walk around and take in the natural splendor of the park, and I cannot praise their live entertainment enough! Something for everyone on their Midway and Village Stages and their legendary Dance Hall Theater. This year (2015)'s lineup includes music tribute shows, magic shows, Chinese acrobats, motorcycle stunts, a game show, comedic juggling and two all-female musical acts; and in the fall there's a jaw-dropping side show and a different rock tribute band each weekend! Over the years, CLP has put on tributes to Elvis, Michael Jackson, Cher, The Blues Brothers, Madonna, Lady GaGa, One Direction and a host of others!

For anyone who hasn't been to Canobie in a long time, you need to come back! It is still a great place to spend the day!

I went to canobie lake Saturday Night for Scream fest and I was disappointed. I was able to get on one ride and not a single haunted house. The lines were crazy. For you guys not to offer a way to skip lines is insane. I spent money to get in and it was wasted. I fell something should be done because it was a horrible experience.

Friendly crowds. Knowledgeable staff. Great Waterpark! Relatively short wait times for rollercoasters. Great time great day. Fireworks are not every night. Some Saturdays and special occasions. Website is not fully up to date on hours though. 10 p.m. EVEN ON SUNDAYS!

It's good for little kids and adults but they need to build some real rollercoasters. Like something big. For the price you pay which is 38$ you might as well go to six flags for 22$ more... the price use to be 20$ after 5 but now it's 28 after 5

Went to the park for the first time today with the...

Went to the park for the first time today with the family. Looked at several reviews before we left, and most of them were spot on.

THE MAIN CONSENSUS OF REVIEWS I READ (and my opinion follows)

1.) THE PARK IS QUITE CLEAN - absolutely true. Given the number of people in the park, they do a great job keeping the ground and most of the rides clean.

2.) THE LINES ARE LONG AND DISORGANIZED - yes and yes; we went on a Wednesday in summertime (on a beautiful day) and there was a good crowd... sadly, most of the crew said it gets much worse on weekends; most lines were between a 15-25 minute way time, which is long, but could be worse, so you do need to bring your patience. One of the frustrating things is that most of the lines are meant to handle about 10 minutes for of people.... you'll find that most lines spill out into the open pavement and can become very disorganized... get ready to start asking 'Are you in line?'

3.) THE FOOD IS EXPENSIVE AND SUBPAR - yes and it depends; prices are comparable to a state fair, which means you'll shell out $30-$40 for a meal for your family of 4; we sampled a whole pizza ($16), french fries ($4), onion rings ($4), ice cream ($3.50), and slushes ($5/each).... Everything was pretty good except the pizza which was AWFUL.... please find something else... it was completely tasteless...

4.) BRINGING FOOD IN IS A NO-NO - we ended up NOT bringing waters for the kids since so many said that staff would confiscate them at the entrance... one of our parents brought in Gatorades... they saw them in the bag... didn't say anything.... also, I overheard the staff saying "we don't check the bags of kids" so if you really want to bring your own food in, have your child bring a backpack to increase your odds

5.) ADMISSION PRICE TOO HIGH - While $36 is a bit high (go to AAA and get $30 tix).... there are more than 80 rides... you can have up to 11 hours in the park during the summer..... there are free shows for you to watch (which were pretty neat)... and you get free parking and free admission to a very cool waterpark; overall, I think it's a decent deal.... what stinks is that there are no season passes (since we live within a few miles)

6.) NOT ENOUGH RIDES FOR THE YOUNG OR OLDER - Not true; there are plenty for those under 48" and for those OVER 48"... the problem WE ran into is that we have one child over 48" and one UNDER 48".... in many cases, they couldn't ride the same rides.... either our taller child was too big to ride or the smaller child was too short... eliminated several of the options.... despite that, there was still PLENTY to do for the 7 hours we were there.

CONCLUSION: Be prepared to spend about $60 per person for the day (admission, food, games). Be prepared to wait in lines for most (if not all). Be prepared to play a few games and win junky prizes. But, despite all that, your kids should have a fantastic time.... ours did, and we'll likely be back!

I dont think I've ever had complaints with Canobie. I've been coming since I was a kid and it was nice to relive a pastime as an adult. They've renovated quite a bit and it looked nicer than I remember. Staff was efficient at moving lines quickly, which were long before the haunted houses opened. Rocktoberfest was enjoyable as well. And if you get the late night snack feeling, the Be Bop diner is the way to go.

I took my kids here 1 is 9 with Autism they gave me a red band for him to go to the exit part of the lines if I need to get in line sooner. I didnt really use this because you have tonstand by the exit and wave atendent down for them to notice you. It was fun for the kids on the kiddy rides but the day I went was Labor day as soon as the 5:00 Discount they offer people came in and it was so busy to even enjoy much after that. Workers at the park were friendly . went to one resturaunt by the Boston tea party and The experience was not great had to wait 20 min to order girl taking order had to make drinks as well as take orders and she took straws out if a plastic bag with out a wrapper after touching money and touched her bare hands all over straws after I ordered the kids meals I didnt bother with adults after that menu of food was so expensive a tap beer was clost to $8.00 if I can rember seeing. i would recomend packing your own food but you have to eat at car because they wont let you take any food in they did allow me to bring water bottle and pediasure.

Personally my favorite park in New England - a bit old fashioned which is very good for families, and I wouldn't necessarily take infants there, but if you have toddlers or kids up to age 12-13, they will love it. Employees are the best I've ever encountered, clean, groomed, polite. Nearly every 'adult' ride has a matching 'child' version so younger/shorter kids never feel left out. There is a minimum of character merchandising or crass commercialism going on so it almost feels like you've gone back in time. My one complaint is that the food and beverage options could be a bit higher quality, a bit cheaper, and more healthy. The two best are the Dancing Bear Canteen for BBQ and Portofino for pasta, the latter having very pretty water views.

So much fun! It s one of our must go summer day trips! They new water park with the lazy river and the slide ride is awesome and kids had so much fun! I d advise to get to the park early, spend Hal if the day in the pool while it s not super busy, and do the rides in the afternoon after lunch.

Wonderful place!!!! Clean, exciting fun! Wonderful place for a family adventure! Rides for all ages. The people working there are friendly and accomodating. My daughter and I wanted to use the outside restroom to change at the end of the night and two women were waiting to clean it and they politely let us use it anyway. Restrooms were always clean throughout the day, there were always people cleaning them. Not super expensive. Foods pretty good. But they allow you to leave and reenter so you can pack a cooler and eat in the parking lot. I would recommend atleast wearing a bathing suit under clothes as there are a few super soaker rides. Which is awesome on a hot day. The lines move so quick compared to a park like six flags. I think the longest wait time was maybe 25 minutes and that was for the best ride in the park!!!! But keep in mind it's definitely a family park. Only a couple of thrill rides, and they are pretty short. I did notice though towards the end of the day like 6:30 there were no lines and the attendees let the rides go a little longer! I love that they all high five after a ride. Absolutely would make this a once a year family day, only because it's an hour an half away for us. If it were closer we would definitely go more often. Highly recommend Canobie Lake Park!!!

Canobie Lake Park is a great amusement park. There is a wide range of rides for all; bumper cars, wooden roller coasters, metal roller coasters that go upside down, a log fume, another even bigger log fume, a new water park area opening this summer, and a lot more. Not to mention dip n dots and fried dough. It is a good family place and the lake view is beautiful.

Very enjoyable and pleasant place to be. I love their rides, a lot of benches to sit and rest, reasonable price for the food, many trees, and less walking compared to Six Flags. It is a such a good place for family fun time.
Oh, the grill place in the new water park area takes too much time to order. When I was there , it took me exactly 1 hour to place an order.
